What if Harris is the goods?
Michael Foster cut his list and KU wasn't on it. Not that there was ever any doubt he was going pro
Doubt anything comes of it for a while
Double hilarious
This is hilarious
Think I've said from the beginning not to expect Davison playing College hoops
Defense. Playing against good competition which the switch to IMG could mitigate. Typical 4 star prospect that doesn't have elite skills
Have fun with this name.
Kok Yat #129 prospect now in 21 (was #79 in 22), a 6'8 forward from Norcross Georgia has reclassified into the 2021 class and says KU is among 3 programs prioritizing him at the moment
Looks very raw in skill but he's a big boy.
Should be a solid core. You could theoretically have Sr's: Agbaji, McCormack & Grant-Foster, Jr's: Braun & Enaruna, 3rd year players Wilson & Harris & a second year of Thompson. That might be enough to make up for the lack of top end elite talent at any one position.

At least 1 high level guard for sure and Hickman has been my #1 choice since we offered.
He's a top 25 type guy, imo. I don't care where he ends up in the rankings.
Agree he might not be elite at any one thing but I watched a lot of his film and he's exactly what we covet at the position. He would play early here. Imagine a combination of Harris, Hickman, Thompson & Braun in the backcourt in 21-22. Solid if you ask me

Happy to have KJ aboard. Tools to work with and were able to close on him so quickly after the shocking loss of Brown. Not going to complain about any Top 100 kid coming here with the unknown future. I'm happy he decided KU was home for him and hopefully when he gets to campus he'll develop into a nice 4 year guy for the program.
thx. I would take Holmes in a heartbeat and call it a day in the post.
KU is not a contender to 5 star Harrison Ingram. Figured with no recent mention of him with KU
What's AZ's pull with him?
Take it with a BIG grain of salt here but Corey Evans on Rivals is predicting KU might be a contender for
Deron Holmes 6'8 PF #37 ranked player from Montverde Fl. No substance to the claim there but interesting to note as he's a guy I haven't seen mentioned before.
Quick video scout, Can Shoot the 3, athletic, above average rim protector, would not want him handling the ball.
Yep, a better team on paper then KU going into this season
Curry played for the same school as Jay Scrubb who was the Juco that went pro instead of going to Louisville this year.

offered PG Rahsool Diggins committed to Uconn. As far as we know Hickman remains the main target and hopeful commitment at the PG position.
UConn is back in the game. I see no reason why they shouldn't be the best basketball school in the AAC.
All things considered Hickman, Bates, Adams, Clemence and a warm body at the 5 would be a home run.
Not fully sure on Bates anymore or who the center will be. I'd be fine with the JUCO kid or Landers as long as Dave is back we don't need much immediately at the position. Hickman is the big immediate need. Yeah the staff likes Harris but Hickman would come in and start no doubt in my mind.
Yeah I would have said Salis or Bates but I think the ship has sailed with both tbh. Hickman and a true 5 and that's a solid 4 man class.
I really like Harris and Hickman would be a good complimentary PG to him, a little more scoring punch and just a good all around player imo. I think those two could coexist together if needed.
A Class of Clemence, Hickman & Adams would put KU 3rd in the Nation slightly behind Villanova and Baylor FYI.
Seems like a best case scenario class

Surprised we snuck into KJ's recruitment. Film always stuck out months back when I was looking for a quality 4 combo forward. Didn't think we had a chance but this looks like consolation from losing on a 5 star talent
Kunkel picked Xavier
He will redshirt
I have doubt he will get back here this season
He won't play in college not worried

Recruiting seems not great atm, fortunate to land Clemence. Need to just get the NCAA crap done with. Doesn't seem like we have a shot at any elite 5s, but at least we will have SR Dave hopefully.
Hard to land top talent when there aren't a lot of immediate minutes available, especially when none of the underclassmen are surefire early departure candidates.
A 2021-22 starting 5 of Harris, Thompson, Agbaji, TGF/Clemence, and Dave seems like a solid bet.
If Self and staff feel like Gethro can contribute in 2021, then the front court is the lowest priority. At this point, all attention should be on the back court for 2021 because that's where KU looks like they're going to be hurting the most right now in 2021 without much depth, particularly at the 2 spot.
If your looking for Gethro to help in 2021 then we really are IN TROUBLE - that's exactly why we need another really goof quality big man in this class
Which is why I said, "If Self and staff..."
And I'll say AGAIN we need that other quality Big
Transfer route maybe. I don't see KU on the radar for an immediate impact big currently. Things can always change on that front but it's not looking great atm. I think Clemence plays early and as long as Dave returns for his Sr year you have 2 bigs at least. That's where a guy like Landers could be useful to have

@BeddieKU23 thoughts?
I think 1 stays in. Butler is the better player and better NBA prospect so I'd lean he goes. Drew also positioned himself to replace him by recruiting a sit-out transfer and 4 star prospect. Not to mention he has Mitchell who played 3rd fiddle last year. I think Teague stays since he'd have a starring role especially if Butler stays in. If they both stay Baylor is the clear cut favorite in the league (I hate to say it..)
2 weeks ago drew said still no decision on either
@BShark said in 2021 Recruiting:
@BeddieKU23 yep..exactly my sentiment. Things look good now but things looked like a near lock with KB.
I'll be happy with Hickman and a quality big to go with Clemence. If everyone stays that should you have a nice nucleus of players but overall I think the talent level will have taken a dive if guys don't develop and that's where guys like Kendall Brown bridge the gap. That's an elite athlete going to Drew with a good base of skill level. I'll say this one hurts a lot more then others have over the years

Very fortunate to have landed Clemence. Recruiting is still a giant pile of poo I guess. I'm hopeful for Hickman but I won't hold my breathe either after this latest letdown
The Brown situation is awful no matter what way you look at it. How many times did he come here unofficially? Then commit within the conference to Baylor. Good grief kid.
Yikes!
wow whatever Kendall
Yep all 3 recruitments were sketchy.
Of course and I agree. I don't agree with pretty much everything the NCAA does and that has nothing to do with our case.
Matthew Cleveland will announce Tuesday. Imagine FSU won this one.
Jordan Riley will announce Friday. Imagine either St John's or Uconn based on location. Damn what an athlete that one is
In the eyes of the NCAA KU is guilty here regardless of whether they knew or not.
Favorite PG prospect we offered. Kids a baller
We are a home provider for an Autistic adult (he's mid 20's but really has the mentality of a 8 year old) and the change in structure was extremely challenging for both sides when the lockdowns took place. His entire routine was uprooted and we basically hit our breaking point with him and still even months later its day to day. It's been a very difficult struggle so I can only imagine what your going through as well raising your own that relied on the structure of normal life.
Transfer portal hit 1000
tip of the iceberg. Stanford dropped 11 sports yesterday. More schools I'm afraid will be cutting
CJ Walker ends up at UCF. Surprised bigger Florida schools didn't scoop him up.
Really don't like this idea but it would be better then no season at all
A&M gets SEC money now so they made out just fine.
In case anyone cared Alex Tchikou reclassified and picked Alabama. Former KU target at one point
Cleveland has 4 predictions on Rivals to end up at FSU
Yeah so-so first year, stat line looks like 5 stars under Self. Imagine wherever he lands it will still be swooosh
5 star prospect CJ Walker leaving Oregon..
