Tristan wow
Mawien doesnt get that against doke
K st has 8 turnovers already. Good news since KU was only forcing 6 in the last 3 according to jesse
Some unlucky events there. That ochai drive would have brought the house down. His 2nd he was fouled. Braun rimmed out a 3.
Slop minutes
They dont have runs

Big shot
First ochai sighting in a while
Nice Doke
Wow that was a pathetic 2 minutes
Better shots peeps
That shot should never happen, cancel it
Higgins in the house. Like hearing fran
Hope we crush em
If the team had more reliable shooters I don't think this would be much of a debate.

@BeddieKU23 did u see the end of Baylor game? Ou had a steal w/chance to tie, instead they pitch it out to reaves for a 3. Game
Yup, I believe he had a chance for an easy layup. Decision Making fail 101
Interesting article about Conference Title's/Conference Tournament wins correlating to March Success
Maybe some pressure being #1. Baylor has had some C type games and found ways to win (sort of like KU has). I thought the two games before they drubbed KU weren't that good. A team that can kind of turn it on when they need to.

Is this a college basketball thing with the movement of the three point line?
That seems to be a big part of it. Scoring across the nation is way down.
Scoring is down 1.9 points nationally this season (from last). The peak of the last 25 seasons or so was 2018 at 73.6 nationally so scoring is down over 3 points in less then 2 years.
3pt % and FG % is down a pt, at least. Efficiency is down 5 points from last season alone. Painting a bleak picture about this year
Here's the full quote from Self FYI.
"I've actually thought to myself about that. Well, the reason its been that way, like after even going into the OU game, is because we didn't know we'd have Devon. Then even going into Texas, you know if you make a decision to start Isaiah instead of David, that's fine. So you prepare for that, David's out, I didn't know how that would mess with his mind, and then (you could potentially) tell him Devon Can't Play. Now Your Starting. So I thought it was best just to leave it status quo so you're only messing with one guy, as opposed to messing with two. But Moving Forward...I'm not saying this will happen tomorrow, because I doubt it will. But we know that our five most productive players on the floor is with Isaiah in the lineup. We know that, with the other four starters. Stats, analytics, prove that out. But still though, even with that being said, I think there's some things that David Brings, and from a chemistry standpoint, I think up until this point, it's been best for us to go that way that we've been going, because you're still going to have ample opportunities to have that other lineup on the floor. So that's the primary reason, but its something that I think is fair, and I've actually thought quite a bit about."
I have AT&T. I first noticed the issue around August but I had forgot to mention it back then. Glad I'm not the only one
Have tried that one several times, no change.

West Virginia just killing Texas 45-20 - - I don't see how Shaka makes it another season
Ended up a 38 point drubbing, 97-59.
Baylor held serve as #1 by 4.

It would have been interesting to see where he might be in his development without the injury.
Can he help this team at this point? I'm struggling to see where both from a chemistry and performance standpoint. We'll have to see where they go with this one..
Well Enaruna has become unplayable for Bill and while Jalen didn't look the best early if he is going to be played at the 4, guarding a wing or even a post player and can help space the floor that is at least intriguing.
It sounds good, I really wish he was the type of talent you just rush in to try and see what he has but I dont think that's the case with how Self runs his offense and his expectations on defense. I have always been extremely high on Wilson and I dont want to see him transfer away at any cost. If he could really add some meaningful minutes to perimeter scoring while also defending at a level like Moss I'm all for it.
Newell voted them 1. He explained in his Twitter why as well.
We do need Dave next yr, no question but I'll throw this out there.
Would anyone want to see Agbaji running the point with his passing and decision making? Now take that and apply this to Dave trying to be a 4 man in this lineup next to Doke. Considering it all I give Dave respect for going out there and trying to be something he is not. The staff clearly felt Dave was one of the 5 best players to start the season and that he earned the starting spot. But now we are in the middle of the season with enough games, data and film to know Dave next to Doke is not working the way we all hoped it would. Its not a total disaster but isnt bringing the team closer to some higher level of play. It is what it is
At this point I'm over Monday Morning Quarterbacking this decision. We all have to live with him starting Dave for better or worse. If there is something positive that comes out of this in a consistent manner at some point in the season I'll gladly eat some crow. Statistically I don't see chemistry being the reason its keeping this together.
What unintended consequence we may be seeing develop is more Isaiah at the expense of less Braun which you've already hit on before. Ideally we see more of both but the last few games are starting to trend the other way with that as Moss continues to play big minutes.
Self is his presser today said this:
On starting 4 guards from the jump instead of starting McCormack;
"We know that us having our 5 most productive players on the floor is with Isaiah Moss in the lineup without Dave" however he cited "Dave brings a lot chemistry wise".
Coach speak? Fools gold? Sure hope he's right with the way he's handling this. I've started to think this isn't being handled correctly
It would have been interesting to see where he might be in his development without the injury.
Can he help this team at this point? I'm struggling to see where both from a chemistry and performance standpoint. We'll have to see where they go with this one..
Self reports Wilson doing more but not a full practice participant.
They expect to make a decision within 2 weeks on his season.
Jalen says he wants to play if healthy, family supportive.
Two ranked teams play today, both Big-12 games.
Not expecting any upsets tonight as West Virginia should bounce back at home after a dreadful loss in Manhattan.
Baylor hosts Oklahoma and I would not expect OU can beat them with their 2-3 road record.
The # 1 defense (kenpom) have played in 2 of the last 3 title games.
KU's defense can get them there!
I edited the post, thx for that I forgot to look at what they gave up in regulation

How about the defense though. 8 of the last 10 games holding teams under 60 points.
This team probably wouldn't give up 45 to last years roster
They've only given up 70 once all season (Dayton) and 65-69 points 3 other times times with one of those being against Milwaukee in a near 30 point win. The other 2 were the Duke and Baylor games.
KU is 15th nationally in points allowed per game this season so far.
Nice Top 15 nationally in points allowed is a good thing.
Here's the points allowed against teams vs their offensive rank via Kenpom.
Most Important as we look to March
Duke - 66- rank#4
Dayton- 84 (OT) 73 regulation- rank#3
Baylor- 67- rank#23
Villanova- 56 - rank#13
Others
ETSU- 63- rank#61
BYU- 56- rank#15
Colorado- 58 - rank#66
Stanford- 56- rank#92
West Virginia- 53- rank#58
Iowa St- 53- rank#39
Oklahoma- 52- rank#45
