I think it will improve for Doke, it can't get any worse for the 3 bigs right now. Optimism there I guess.
If Garrett can hit at least 35% from 3 on the shots he's taking from 3, absolutely. His FT shooting is still horrendous

For those that haven't paid attention to anything other then KU.
Tech- Opened the season playing 2 powder puffs. 2-0. Plays 3 more until Iowa (11/28) & Louisville (12/10). As usual they play practically no one before conference play.
Baylor- Crushed in game 1 but blew a big lead against Washington and is 1-1. Should have beat UW.
Texas- Easy game in the opener, beat an over ranked Purdue squad in game 2 on the road. Nice to see Andrew Jones back after his fight with Cancer. The road victory at Purdue will be big for them come tourney time.
Iowa St- Easy opener followed by a loss to Oregon St. Not good.
Oklahoma won their opener and followed it up with a W against Minnesota. They won't play a ranked team currently until end of January.
K-ST- Won a closer then expected opener then needed OT to beat a bad UNLV squad. They are not good, at all.
OSU- Struggled in the opener but won by 5. Beat UMKC by 18 over the weekend.
TCU- Beat a D-3 team in the opener. Enough said.
West Virginia- Beat Akron by 10 in the opener. Scored 94, gave up 84. Has Huggy lost the defense??? Non Conference schedule is horrible until late December when they play Ohio St.
PER after game 2 saw much better results.
Dotson rebounded from Game 1 with a 12 pt increase from 8 to 20.5
Enaruna jumped 13.3 to 19.7
Agbaji holding steady at 15.4
Azubuike almost doubled to 15.4 (still well below his average)
Garrett marginally improved to 12.8 (from 12.4) & still around career avg.
McCormack slightly up to 9.9
Moss debuts with a 9.9 (below average for him) but still not 100% so we'll see where he goes from here.
De Sousa crated.
Braun is negative after 2 games.
If what they say is true its all mental for him. Maybe they should have hired someone to get his head straight at the line. Otherwise he's headed for a 30's to 40's year again

@BeddieKU23 Tbf literally everyone had Cade to OSU. If that is their only track record, shrug.
@rockchalkwyo KK will be a hog.
Without reading 15 pages it would appear many thought he was UK bound after Playa etc starting saying that was likely. Guess that person stuck with OSU all along?
I still can't figure out how Cade going there helps Bryce be the "man". Cade is a combo guard, Likele is their current PG. They just signed a Top 100 guard in Rondel Walker. They have two other guards on the roster in Chris Harris & Watson after this year. Maybe I'm missing something here.
Also want to add the early returns on Tristan are nice. If he continues to have this role and produce he may not be here next season. I think its too early to predict anything but he was already on the radar for next season. He may be exceeding the timeline but we'll see what happens when we get closer to Conference play
I agree that it may work out in the end with Wilson. Now that he has the injury to rehab the expectation of playing minutes is out the door. The injury doesn't help his immediate development but probably helps deter outside ears getting to him
Have been unable to find the information from the pokes. Not on 247 board to my knowledge
Edit: One poster on another OSU board claiming he got good news but is unwilling to share anything else. Others claiming he was right about Cade going to them.

Hard to believe this kid was ranked behind Jalen after watching them play.
A case of Jalen being a national recruit for longer. You know the politics. However I'd like to point out Tristan didn't even start on his HS team and wasn't thought of as this top recruit until very late in the process. The fact he was Top 60ish by the end speaks to his rise and the fact he ended up a big time program. His potential did appear to be off the charts which was something the scouts may have underselled.
If Wilson is at Michigan in Beilen's system would he look different? I think its going to take longer for Jalen to fit his skills at KU under Self. He only played 1 game as well but definitely appeared to be someone who was going to need time to develop. I'd be surprised if by Soph/Jr year he isn't one of our most important players though. He'll figure it out
Playa puts in his pick.. for Adam Miller to Illinois.
Would be the 2nd Top 50ish guard joining Curbelo. Underwood hasn't done squat there but is getting a bit lucky this cycle
Ou strategically wanted early so they did early last week. Whether the in homes mean anything I dont know.
Two top 50 guards to the SEC, Ole Miss and Arkansas. What they paying to get these guys to go there??
Moody, Ku did show some interest but nothing serious.
Same, hope it's just misdirection info out there
McCormack nailed a corner jumper last night but if you found anything else he did to impact the game I'll gladly eat some crow
OU Insider still goin with the home team. Sure hope hes full of Bologna
Yes, I have Thompson CB'd to OU, but it's not a homer pick. There are several, that I have spoken with, that tell me the Sooners move to go visit Bryce on Tuesday, instead of him taking an unofficial, was the best move the Lon Kruger and the OU staff could have done. I am told the two sides met for over an hour and actually was closer to two hours. One source told me that both of Thompson's parents are very vocal about where they want Bryce to go and that is to OU. Thing is, they are also allowing him to be the one to make the decision and aren't pushing him one way or the other, according to various sources.
As far as the Kansas deal goes? Well, OU is in a dog fight and OSU also has made a run since they landed five-star combo guard Cade Cunningham in the last few days. Obviously, everyone saw where Thompson tweeted out that Cunningham's commitment changes things, but the question remains of how much? I ask that because everyone knew Cunningham was going to Oklahoma State for the last several months. The Cowboys hired his older brother, Keith, this off-season and from that point on it seemed like Ostate was almost a given for Cunningham.
So, why am I picking the Sooners? Well, OU has had more than Bryce's parents in his ear. The Sooners have had Trae Young, Blake Griffin and Buddy Hield all talk with him on numerous occasions. All have explained why Lon Kruger's system is the best for him and his skill-set. The Sooners also have had the father of Tray Young, Rayford Young, speaking to Bryce and his father, Rod, about how much he liked their time at OU and how well Kruger used Trae.
Lastly, coaches and players that have no connection to Oklahoma have been pushing the Sooners and Lon Kruger as well. I am not naming names, but several NBA players and college basketball coaches have let him know that they think playing under Lon is the best spot.
All in all, I think it's a coin-flip. I spoke to a source very close to Thompson this morning and was told, "I honestly have an idea, but would be lying if I said I knew for sure. I can tell you OU is close and in the top two, but it's not a for sure thing with any school cause I don't think he really knows."

Mitch should play 9 is not enough to go the grind. We see it every season when injuries hit
We need another guard/wing type more than we do Mitch at this point. We have enough for a Bill Self rotation but barely.
Horrible situation to be in already. Self will have to play Braun and let him work through some things. Enaruna was already getting a big role and I think that continues. Feel for Jalen, hope for a speedy recovery

Feed him!
Doke thrives with better spacing as the only big.
I think it's two fold. He is most effective with space and teams cant defend him if he gets position with the space so it really has a impact on multiple fronts
Dotson brought his game tonight and if that happens most nights he is the key to everything
2nd half was encouraging and the defense was straight suffocating for about 10 minutes there
Wins a win
And we may not be giving his outside shot enough respect. Hes got game
Enaruna is a killer
Game changer for sure. Shots going in helps
Huge dunk
