Braun has thick calves... freakishly long arms, like Grayson Allen without the pyscho douche gene.
I fixed it
Sit marcus and devon after the 12 minute mark. Let braun and moss run the show

If Moss can shoot FT like that he's gonna get opportunities from the line end game... Half the team is an adventure from the stripe!
Him and dot will be in end of game situations always

Enaruna is going to be our best offensive player at some point. I don't think he'll last 4 years.
Not much of a chance of that with his measurables and so far the jumper is better then most thought it would be. 3 yr player max if lucky

Isaiah Moss
I think you get to repeat that a few more times. A very good shooter
He will continue to get more important as the season goes on
Moss can shoot the rock as advertised
BShark said:
Doke said NO there.
That was nice
And our defense is worlds better this year
Monmouth may not reach 20
Always need these games. Texas Tech plays about a dozen of them every year

Nice to see Dotson seems 100% healthy.
Yeah, ankle seems good now.
Electric in the fast break which is about the opposite of ochai
I feel bad for monmouth
Get up 30, sit devon, doke and moss
Garrett was suspended for at least the rest of the season.

Is Pitt any good post Dixon?
Not right now but Capel is trying to turn it around. Cupboard was bare when he got there and almost the entire team transferred out. Capel was a big time bag man at Duke.
For his size he looks like a good athlete. I don't know if he will ever compare athletically to Frank but you can see some similarities and he can finish above the rim which is impressive. If they have found a kid that was overlooked and just hitting his stride (like Ochai, Braun, Muscadin, Grant-Foster, Harris) why not? The staff has taken chances and we'll see how it plays out.
It looks like Self wants competition at lead guard next season. We hear they are high on Harris, another late bloomer. Bryce has developed a lot in the last year from where he was last year, it's the reason he's a Top 20 player. Kids like Jossell are easy to root for if they push themselves to get better. Seems like the staff has really targeted specific players that haven't plateau'd but are just scratching the surface and give the staff tools to work with. Player development is key with these kids. I hope this model pays off.
Recap of action
Texas Tech blew out their 3rd cupcake in 3 games. Jahmi'us Ramsey is really good, he was expected to be. 25 points in 22 minutes. Bucket getter.
Oklahoma St went to 3-0 dominating the 2nd half against Charleston. Dziagwa had 7 3's
Kansas St was down 9 to Monmouth at half. Blew them out in the 2nd half. A team that is feeling the impact of losing so many seniors.
Tonight's action:
West Virginia goes on the road to face Pitt.
Baylor, Texas & KU all should win easily.
Self reported yesterday Moss didn't have any setbacks from playing last week. Still not 100% but progressing.

Well , Meyer - - - Daniels - - - Chasen - -- & another all showed their CB for our upcoming commit - - glad to get this over with - been a heated recruiting battle - -Jus hope he doesn't jump ship and commit to DB at the last minute.
Just having a little fun don't get all serious on this. -- ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
So your saying he might take other visits after committing. Oh god the horror, I'm so done with this guy. why cant we chase the 5 stars! Ugh.

KU is still actively recruiting KK Robinson fwiw. Arkansas however is the favorite. Plans to announce near the end of November.
Having a hard time figuring out this out. They currently have 6 guards on the roster.
KU eligibility issues- resolved in 6 to 12 months
Nike eligibility issues (including the #1 recruit/potential 2020 1st pick in NBA draft)- resolved in 24 hours.
How accurate will this be?
Wiseman is ineligible and will be held out until resolved.
Having a big year so far. Handles look better, better vision with the ball. Making those 2 point jumpers. Improved shooting in general. Hope he keeps it up
Yes they were big FT's.
Sam had a big first half (15 points I believe) but in the last 8 minutes of the game that I watched the only thing he did was make 2 FT's
These guys have nothing to actually report. Arkansas is full up on scholarships right now.
Iowa St dominates the 2nd half to beat Northern Illinois. They were losing at half. 3-25 from deep.
TCU with an easy win at home. Desmond Bane is going to put up big numbers all season, may lead the Big-12 in scoring. 25, 7, 5 line
Texas goes to 3-0
Oklahoma beats Oregon St who had beat Iowa St. Looks like Kristan Doolittle is going to have a big year. Toughed it out at OU after some issues and injuries. Austin Reeves seems to be thriving with Lon after leaving Marsha
Q with 13, 5 boards, and 3 assists. 1-4 from deep, 2-3 at the line.
:beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:
Have they changed it to "get used to hearing Kentucky lost to Evansville"?
Lol they beat Kentucky
Awesome pic
At this point Silvio should be back but we'll see how the season plays out.
Agbaji is definitely trending where he would be wise to at least test the waters.
I don't see a prospect KU could land until the spring mahem. If everyone returns but Dotson Self would have 12 bodies. If he loses 1 of Silvio/Agbaji then I think he targets one more

Texas Tech has landed 5* Nimari Burnett. There will be a influx of talent next year in the Big 12.
Noticeable recruiting uptick at Tech now that Beard is there.
Making the finals helps too

Hasn't Enaruna shown up on some draft boards?
2nd round next year but that's going to change if he continues to have a big role and produce.
Might be off base but I think some combination of rule changes & the way the game is played today has had a big impact on this.
With the rule changes specifically I mean the reduction in the shot clock and the freedom of movement rules that have made the game more offense friendly (promoting higher scoring games). More possessions in games. Less time for the old Self teams where you could mug the opponent.
Today's game has changed so much with the focus on perimeter shooting. Case in point KU has a 9 point lead in the 2nd half against Duke and in 2 possessions its a 1 score game. 10 years ago were 4 man's shooting 3's and could have a team eliminated an almost double digit deficit so quickly?
Good point about the Tristan 3. The game felt out of reach for Greensboro but if Tristan misses that shot do they come back down the court and score and make it single digits with plenty of time?
Great find, thanks for sharing. Great day for the future of this team
I agree about the 2 year plan for Bryce. He does have great size if he ends up being more PG then CG. Regardless its a homerun piece to fit next to Garrett and Harris.

So
Is he considered a (gulp) OAD?
Depends on who you ask. Some out there think he has great NBA potential. Some think he might have some growing pains stepping up to the next levels due to him not being an explosive athlete. Anytime you sign a 5 star player your expectation shouldn't be 4 years. The looming NOA could impact how long he stays as well.
5 star guard announces for KU. Dad played for Self at Tulsa. Big time shooter, big time recruiting victory!
Welcome young man!

BILLY EUGENE SELF DOES IT AGAIN
he's a keeper
biggest recruiting win in many years!
KU woo
that makes sense.
Still no pick from playa, looks like he's going right to the wire
Bossi watched possible 2021 reclass Tre White. Bossi Had this to say.
Ryan on the Phog also said that when he committed he would be surprised if Tre sticks and goes to KU. Time will tell.
"Ranked in the top 40 nationally, White is a power wing who has a big body and combines some bounce with power. What struck me most was his skill level. He did some things with the ball (stepbacks, hesitations, changes of pace and direction) that I'd not seen from him in the past and he shot the ball with confidence. He backed up his lofty national status."
