@jayballer73 reading the WSU news, seems like they pulled their starters after the first 2 games. 🙄 ok🥴 Anyway, I don't think we will be that great. Hard to tell watching stat lines!

They beat one of my favorite teams (sarcasm) as you all know, WSU. 3-2 exhibition game. Was 40 mins from me and I chose to stay home and watch it on cox tv. It was a no go due to transmission problems🤬 I watched live stats, 🥴 pretty exciting!

I was wondering how much KS team health knows about s and c? Pretty sure, not much. Kinda wonder how that all works. I know she is employed by them and probably has to wear their polo?🤣. They are calling the shots. Do they let hudy do her clinics in the off season? Have they cut her gravy train off. Her equipment is expensive. I'm sure her budget has changed and maybe her paycheck? Will this hurt getting a new person? Tait said Self hadn't thought of anyone yet. Made me think this was a surprise. I also heard she was let go? Who knows? I have several friends that think she was over rated. Not sure what I think. Lots of questions, I think the timing stinks. Do these people have contracts?

Under the policy, Hudy and about 40 other sports medicine staffers — other strength and conditioning coaches, physicians, athletic trainers, nutritionists and wellness coordinators — were to be converted to employees of University of Kansas Health Systems, reporting to medical professionals rather than athletic department personnel.

@HighEliteMajor we can't play his 2 bigs against that auburn or that Villanova team. There were times we couldn't play withey w/Trob. I don't think we've played very good D since they stepped up the rules. I think that hurt us, but with the players we've had the last 4-5 years, to slow joe! That ou game there last year, 🤮 was the worst defensive effort I've ever seen. Simple basic D principles. See ball see man, etc. and grimes was the worst!

@HighEliteMajor if I remember right, sometimes questionable, didn't the first half they score most of their pts in transition, fast break? I can see d dot going from 1 guy to another before anyone could get back to help. I think your D is fine, but in that game they scored before we could ever set up.

Wiggs, Embiid, and Ben Mac loved being in college. Ben had to go, poverty, he didn't want to. I don't remember anyone being so happy to be in college. Food, hot shower, a bed, heat and ac. He gives back so much too. He needs something good to happen for him!
@mayjay they drove straight thru🙄, last I knew 19 hrs. Sump pump w/battery pack is in today. High dollar! Restoration people still not there! Carpet soaked since wed pm. He said the smell is bad! Mildew!
@BShark son and fam are on vacation in Montana and her dad went over to house and found out the sump broke. Needless to say by the time they found out (no service) they are far down the lists. Basement is completely flooded!

Charlie was the "volume scorer" without the "scorer" part ... I wonder at what point coach Self thought to himself, "what was I thinking?"
If that moment didn't occur before the season started last year, oh boy. It seems like Charlie had a lot going on off-the-court that may have impacted him some. Whatever ale'd him it was hard to watch.
I feel bad for talking bad about Chuck knowing that, now!

Not any Jayhawk fan can say they gave as much to KU as Max did! Wow, 95 years, amazing. I still remember that skit he was in at late night where all the players were lined up and Self went down the line yelling at them and Max was at the end. Good man, not as many of them anymore!
