I was reading the fb all conference team honors, was really surprised to see quite a few ks kids on the lists. Ksu has really made that a priority. It sounds like that's a high priority for coach Beatty, also.

Pretty sure the last tweet of Mari's was before his arrest, check the time. As for his rant about his dad, I can't imagine Mari's life, not even close, and until we walk in his shoes, we can't. He did try to apologize, I'm sure he had some help, but he's a kid that's missing his dad. Doesn't mean I agree, I just understand.

@KUSTEVE seriously, jethro, you didn't see a team last year? The team I watched won the big 12. I blame most of the problem on not having upperclassmen leaders last year. There's no doubt in my mind, a healthy Embiid was a longer season! I love the D the guys are playing this year, but they are just better than the overall team D last year. The worse D last year was by the upperclassmen .

@wrwlumpy I'm confused, switching wigs and Embiid for Svi and Cliff is an improvement? 1 and 3 draft picks? Great defender and awesome rim protector? This team as a whole is playing much better D, but IMO, Perry has stepped it up and a huge upgrade in our pt guards.

@drgnslayr how long does the ncaa and nba allow college basketball to go on like this? If cal continues to get all the mcd's. I just can't imagine all highly recruited guys, and their parents, want them to play half a game. Do we need to wait and see if playing half a game pans out to a successful nba career?
