Like that not just do we have balanced scoring from the starters, but guys have not been hesitant in taking open looks. Every starter has at least 4 FGA. Good ball movement - 13 assists on 18 made buckets.

Really balanced scoring so far - 6 or more points from each of the starters...
Don't want to look a gift horse...but feels like we should be up more than 14. We're hitting 71+%, OSU at 28%...

I would take a 2 seed, but I don't think that is a foregone conclusion, let alone a 1 seed. At this point, we have 2 road losses against lower tier B12 teams. We've twice struggled to hold serve at home, and not against the best in the conference. Vegas has a pretty good read on this team - we were favored by 6-7 against Cincinnati and didn't cover.
We may be an underdog in everyone of the remaining 6 road games. How many do we realistically think are winnable? Traditionally, our advantage relative to everyone else in the conference is consistently winning the road games. Just not sure this team is as equipped to do that.
That puts a lot of pressure to win the home games. Are we going to sweep Houston, Baylor, Texas, KSU and BYU at Allen? Perhaps, but we need to play much better than we have the past few games...

He is a freshman and missed some time, so he will have ups and downs. But, he has a good stroke, size, goes after rebounds, is better for spacing, and has a high bball IQ.
In another thread, I said if he was playing 20-25 minutes, he would be a 10 and 5 guy. I'm going to adjust that. It will be a bit match up dependent, but he should generally be getting 30 minutes a game from here on out. And, not all at the 2. He should be able to take Kev and KJ breather minutes, as well. If so, I think he can be a fairly consistent double digit scorer - similar to KJ - and 5-7 RBs per game.
EJ should be getting mostly Juan sub minutes. Just doesn't work well to have 2 guys who don't look to score on the floor together for any period of time. Puts more pressure on the other 3 and allows the defense to sag.

That's not sustainable. Rather than Elmarko giving Juan a blow running the point, even for just a minute or two, he and Furphy just split minutes at the 2 spot.
While Furphy brings more scoring and rebounding to the starting 5, it means we get even less production from the bench - a miserly 4 points.
As was shown in the UCF game, we are in serious trouble if one of the starters is in foul trouble or gets banged up...
