Thought it would be a good idea to start this up since the movement is already starting. Here's the scholarship chart for spring 2025 as things stand today. It has the early enrollees (Holley, McComb, Cook, Curvey, Hayes) and the transfers (Kamara, Williams). Also assume everyone who can come back will. Kind of wild we have exactly one junior (Greaves).

Finally watching. Some thoughts!

• Big picture, we have every piece to win a natty. You can see the bulb flickering for Rylan and AJ

• Flory is a DUDE. Can’t wait to see how he develops the next year or two.

• Juan is our MVP. He just makes play after play after play. If there’s action, he’s in the middle of it.

• Zeke is a terrific guard. He does a lot of things well. Once his shot falls he might be our best player.

• Hunt is just an anchor. We know what we have here. Limitations and all, but we’re better when we can feed him

• This is a terrific passing team. Juan, Zeke, KJ, and Hunt are all really good passers. Look out once the shooters find their rhythm

• You can see AJ and Rylan getting there. AJ had a couple deflections, Rylan was more aggressive. We should drop all the money to keep them another year.

• Lol at the KU Twitter hive mind that said KJ can’t play. If they need someone trained in stats to talk hash tag # analytics lmk

@wissox that’s awful. Best wishes to you all. My grandpa has the opposite issue. He’s sharp as a tack but has advanced macular degeneration so he gets really frustrated when he can process information but he needs someone to read him something or a suite of magnification equipment to read himself.

Happy Thanksgiving! I was fortunate enough to have a couple days with my 87 year old grandma and 90 year old grandpa. Sure I spent like 4 hours in tech support but every minute with them is a blessing.

I haven’t done a state of the roster in a while. I’ll try to get one done before the portal opens so we can get the lay of the land in terms of portal needs. Also, the 15ish HS class was by design. Filling 30 senior spots with 25 high schoolers in this age would be a DISASTER

Also worth noting Borland only has a team option next season, no guaranteed money.

Flagg isn’t very efficient yet has a sky high usage rate. Let him take bad shots from 3. He won’t be able to move KJ on a post up or drive, Flagg is thin and KJ is a tree trunk. Have to keep them off the boards too. Hunt needs to stay out of foul trouble and ideally get Maluach in some foul trouble. Neither guy is all that athletic so should be a fun matchup. At least to start I’d put Griffin on Kon and Mayo on Proctor. We might need to go bigger for stretches especially if Mayo’s shot still isn’t falling. Storr can play the 2 and is really quietly had a very good year. It’s the most efficient he’s ever been. Going to need his athleticism.

Things could get really weird for the Big 12 in bowl season. There very possibly aren’t enough bowl tie ins for all the potential 6 win teams. It’s an artifact of the former PAC schools playing in PAC bowls. There are 12 Big 12 teams who can get to 6 wins. The Big 12 has up to 8 bowl tie-ins and the PAC has 6. USC and UCLA can get bowl eligible, Wazzu already is, Oregon State could as well. Might be a giant train wreck.

Playoff team probably not but wouldn’t surprise me if we had a better record, especially if JD6 runs it back.
