@jaybate-1.0 I thought he looked the slowest I had ever seen him last game. It looked like he was laboring to catch up the whole game, and prodding along. I think he needs rest. We're playing him too much, and not playing Greene and Svi enough. The message we send when we can't find one single minute for a kid who has worked so hard ...smh. Maybe he will remember his other 3 point shooters in this upcoming game...

@joeloveshawks Well, you saw the game last night. The first thing you saw was a tribute to Coach K from Coach Self, which they play everytime we play on ESPN. Then, they had their obligatory half time show on the Kentucky Wildcats, where the studio hosts quit talking about KU/OSU, and went into a long discussion of Kentucky basketball. Now, this is a long-standing pattern with ESPN, where we have seen half time interviews with the Squid on our games twice in the past 2 years, neither of which had anything to do with the Mildcats. There is an obvious, pronounced bias on ESPN towards KU. So, it doesn't surprise me a bit they would overlook Frank.

Maybe this is a three dimensional chess strategery aimed at throwing off the Mayor- maybe it was a knee-jerk reaction to Napoleon Jr's "hack a Hawk" game plan ....maybe he simply forgot to try what works...

@jaybate-1.0 I think you're right on the money about the OSU analysis. Let's not forget- the Pokies have been one of our toughest foes in conference for awhile now. Now we have a different way of beating them, so it will be interesting if the game is down to the last shot tonight ( as it has been, it seems for the last 3 games we've played them), or will our new offense, and new pressure defense create alot more offensive opportunities, and we blow them out? I think we blow them out.

@wrwlumpy Devonte has to be a big part of what we do out there - we looked like 2008 at times yesterday. The steals, the runouts, the defensive pressure was incredibly good. Maybe this is the game we dub, "Perry finds a home" ...and it's not down on the box, it's beyond the perimeter ...lol...

@drgnslayr You see that same "eye of the tiger" brand I see in Greene. Coach Self brings tough, gritty teams to play, and this year's edition is no different. I see shades of 2012, along with glimpses of 2008 at times. i don't think we were mentally tough last year- this year's edition seems to be a lot grittier crew.

I was thinking we could get Adidas to stick up some LCD signs where we could flash the player's picture as they roll into the tarmac. There, we could have a small crowd cheering as they exit the plane. Then we pick them up with a KU themed Escalade with spinning wheels, with a hologram of Drake activated when they open the door.

@Crimsonorblue22 I was in Lawrence several years ago, and they had replaced the rope with a metal frame. You seriously have to have some form of help to make it up the hill to get to campus on that end when it is snowy out. If you try to walk, you simply slip and fall.

@Crimsonorblue22 When I was at KU, they had a rope tied from the bottom of the hill to the top on the street, and you had to pull yourself up. I dated a gal that lived several streets down from the Hawk ( when i say down, i mean at the bottom of the hill ), and there was a rope that people used in snow to pull themselves up the hill...
@Crimsonorblue22 I grew up in Kansas, and I froze to death every winter. I'll never forget climbing the rope to get to class in the dead of winter. It's just too freaking cold in Kansas right now ...lol.
