@drgnslayr i think it will be a distinct advantage for us if the Clones knock off Purdue. We could still beat the Boiler Makers, but I'd rather play the Clones ... easier match up for our front line. Plus, I wouldn't want to have to play zone against Swanigan, and show Pitino what we are planning on doing to him. If louie has to shoot from the outside, they suck. Zones give them fits. Shooting anything outside of 10 feet from the basket normally is a real challenge for Louie.

I'm satified with our bracket. I thought our 2nd round match up will be challenging, as Miami is no slouch, and MSU would love to play against Josh. I could see us playing the Clones in the Sweet 16, and then matching up against the bottom half for the trip to the Final Four. i have a feeling that we're going to get some help with a few upsets. I could see both Oregon and Louie losing before they face us.

@HawkChamp It is all about intense defense, period. We never had the crash after clinching the conference. I am not saying Coach Self engineered the crash in order to rest, and refocus the team. But I'm not denying it, either. We haven't seen this team's best game yet. We have seen glimpses of intense defense that literally flattened several teams, but not an entire game with a 40 minute sustained effort. Our best games are coming up.
