Gonzaga Game Thread • Dec 02, 2020 01:41 AM

@Kcmatt7 he chases the game. Has zero anticipation skills.

Revenge game • Nov 30, 2020 12:12 PM

I was, literally, thinking the same thing - they (especially Carr) looked hungover. With that in mind, is Vegas even a city - given the penchant that some NFL players have for partying, gambling and going to strip joints - where you can win consistently?

Non-KU Games Thread • Nov 29, 2020 11:43 PM

@approxinfinity Yeah, that Booker guy wasn't too bad. But I get @BShark's point, it's been awhile.

Non-KU Games Thread • Nov 29, 2020 12:52 AM

@jayballer67 he might, if he becomes a disgruntled benchwarmer. And I trust in Bill, we'll be solid this year. By the way, you were right about Wilson.

Gonzaga Game Thread • Nov 29, 2020 12:49 AM

@AsadZ I am not. Think that Dave is going to become very sour this year with his minutes becoming fewer and fewer.

Non-KU Games Thread • Nov 29, 2020 12:45 AM

@KirkIsMyHinrich You know, he might very well transfer next year. And with the way that he is playing while not improving, I would be fine with that. I mean, the guy is a junior... He completely kills the flow of the team.

Welcome Sydney Curry! • Nov 29, 2020 12:40 AM

@BShark Saw too where with the new rules he's actually going to be able give us three years - a bigtime plus. I see him starting for us next year.

2021 Recruiting • Nov 29, 2020 12:33 AM

@BShark yeah, Jossell.

2021 Recruiting • Nov 29, 2020 12:32 AM

@BShark Curry can handle too.

2021 Recruiting • Nov 29, 2020 12:30 AM

@BeddieKU23 Harris can play.

Expectations for the season • Nov 29, 2020 12:27 AM

@BeddieKU23
@BShark

I am definitely happy that he did not end up at Michigan. The guy is a player, with a feel for the game. Wilson, Harris and Braun play very well together.

Expectations for the season • Nov 28, 2020 04:20 PM

@BeddieKU2 agree

Expectations for the season • Nov 28, 2020 04:10 PM

I think that Wilson is more athletic than Ellis. By the way, I know he hasn't contributed anything, but Muscadin has some handles.

St Joes Game Thread • Nov 28, 2020 12:20 PM

I like how the team seemed to mesh and flow better with Harris having primary ballhandling duties and Dave being on the bench.

Non-KU Games Thread • Nov 28, 2020 02:38 AM

@Crimsonorblue22 ah, and therein lies the million dollar question, huh?

Non-KU Games Thread • Nov 28, 2020 02:27 AM

@Kcmatt7 Underwood left after making sure that Okie State was going to be on probabtion 😂 The guy can coach, though. What he did at SFA and Okie Dokie was no fluke.

St Joes Game Thread • Nov 28, 2020 02:23 AM

Wilson needs to start over Dave, who is a major problem. He is always chasing the game. Drive and or kick it out and shoot, go small.

St Joes Game Thread • Nov 28, 2020 02:12 AM

You know, I'm calling it, this team is going to be struggle city this year - both ends of the court. Hope I'm wrong.

Welcome Sydney Curry! • Nov 28, 2020 02:06 AM

@drgnslayr And we could definitely use that. Dave needs to bigtime slow down, because at this point his anticipation skills are hardly non-existant. Looking forward to Curry joining the team next year. Please don't try to join us this year. Sorry, Silvio has kind soured me on mid-season add ons.

@approxinfinity and they are a loose conglomeration of small separate nations. They can claim to be union whatever, but in reality they are not.
By comparison, we are the 3rd most populous nation in the world with 330 million and a hell of alot of land and people with different mindsets and lifestyles, even education and medias. Not easy to mandate much of anything. Look at Newsom in California, mandating for everyone else but not himself. Do I think that people should wear masks? Yes, and I do so. I'm just not sure that killing off businesses is the way to go.

@approxinfinity those countries one and all are much smaller than we are and a hell of alot less populated.

@approxinfinity A very long time, and people still Jaywalk and many who have a driver's license do not know how to drive. The vaccine needs to be approved - now.

@approxinfinity 330 million independently oriented individuals in this nation, not enough courtrooms or even jails to mandate such a thing.

@FarmerJayhawk Thank you, voice of sanity. One thing for sure that they are very effective at is that they destroy lives and certain segments of the economy, even while allowing mass gathering places to stay open.

@jayballer67 Having the vaccine by January 1st doesn't mean that we wouldn't have a shutdown, the thing would still need to be widely distributed.

A little bird just told me about an hour ago that we'll have the vaccine approved by January 1st.

2022 Recruiting Thread • Nov 12, 2020 05:46 PM

He is a must get, being as talented as he is and from Wichita.

I agree, definitely trending in the wrong direction. I understand that all drugs or vaccines have side effects, but the FDA will not know what they are for maybe years. In the meantime, people are dying now. The Pfizer vaccine needs to be fast-tracked, now is not the time for micro-managing redtape and or politics.

@wissox You never received any arguments from me. So ready for us to move on from the guy that it isn't even funny.

Preseason AP Top 25 Poll • Nov 10, 2020 09:37 PM

Bigtime looking forward to some Jayhawk basketball.

2021 Recruiting • Nov 03, 2020 03:24 PM

@jayballer67 We'll be okay, fellow Bucketeer. All things considered, we have a good class this year and the start of a damn good next year. Bill will sign a couple more players. And the damn NCAA crap should be over soon. Thoughts anyone on when the crap might finally end? I mean, for real, will it ever end?

No Silvio • Nov 03, 2020 03:20 PM

@drgnslayr I think that he is a future pro

No Silvio • Oct 29, 2020 04:07 AM

@FarmerJayhawk It wasn't a minor tussle. The other guy was disfigured and required a visit to the hospital. I'm guessing probably stitches

2021 Recruiting • Oct 28, 2020 01:24 PM

@Woodrow Is it just my imagination, or does Kentucky have like twenty scholarships to give? It doesn't hurt their chances at scarfing up all of the players that we are waiting for our punishment to be doled out along with Arizona, Louisville and so on and so forth, and Dook - after the Zion thing finally went public - is probably now being looked at as well.

2022 Recruiting Thread • Oct 28, 2020 03:48 AM

@BeddieKU23 Good point, and you are right. But coaches from schools non-affiliated will offer scholarships anyway just to make sure that the favored schools put in the work, if nothing else. It also allows them to zone in on their true targets, while hopefully preoccupying their competitors elsewhere. Damn near militaristic, but effective.

'Zona gets NOA • Oct 28, 2020 03:41 AM

@jayballer67 I say they will be hit harder

2021 Recruiting • Oct 26, 2020 04:34 PM

@JAYHAWKFAN214 I like that guy. Man, please step forward Signing Gods.

'Zona gets NOA • Oct 26, 2020 04:26 PM

@jayballer67 My point though, is that with Arizona having 9 infractions (five of which are level ones) there is no way that with five infractions (all being level ones) we can possibly receive the same punishment or more that they do. No way. So, guess I'm offering up a silver linings playbook. Thank you Arizona, for doing things much worse than we did 😂

'Zona gets NOA • Oct 26, 2020 08:29 AM

Well, one thing that we do know is that Arizona is going to be punished more than we are - 9 total infractions, 5 of which are level ones. So taking that into account, what is the worst that 'Zona can receive? And whatever they get ours will not be as bad.

Late Night • Oct 24, 2020 02:38 PM

@Texas-Hawk-10 That is a negatory.

Lots of KU connections here.

Kind of unreal.

Plays for the same AAU as Jalen/Gethro/Jossell which recently merged with Darrell Arthur's old AAU team still ran by an old friend of Bill. The cherry on top is that he is the cousin of Dajuan Harris. Almost seems destined to be a Jayhawk.

Maybe we'll have better luck with this McBride.

No Silvio • Oct 18, 2020 08:38 PM

@wissox he isn't going to get a degree. And he has been there damn near 4 years.

No Silvio • Oct 18, 2020 08:36 PM

@FarmerJayhawk Come on... You don't really believe that, do you?

No Silvio • Oct 18, 2020 08:33 PM

@approxinfinity He performed well for a short stretch, but he has also cost us - no pun intended - plenty.

No Silvio • Oct 18, 2020 08:31 PM

@BShark You think? He obviously has some serious life issues that he has to sort out. I wish him well.

No Silvio • Oct 18, 2020 08:29 PM

@FarmerJayhawk He's done. I'm not piling on and wish him well, but he has issues.

@jayballer67 I was just playing around, ZZ Top

@jayballer67 what happened to the bubble homes and flying cars that we were promised?

@jayballer67 ZZ "La Grange" Clark, huh?

@AsadZ No doubt.. And yes, unfortunately, it is spreading. I have been washing my hands so often they are about to fall apart.
