@Crimsonorblue22 Not that I would trade him 😂
I heard that the guy was also trying to ban all of his players from observing national holidays, that is ofcourse unless they brought him booze - Johnny Walker Black Label, to be specific. The guy obviously had to go. It would only be a matter of time before he started picking up chairs.
Saw too many examples to even try to count where Mahomes could've safely ran for yardage to continue drives, but he instead chose not to.
@approxinfinity Where and from who are these Covid statistics about China coming from? It's not like China is the most transparent of nations.
@stoptheflop You got me, that's why I say Clyde.
@BShark she has been a good dog.
@jayballer67 No doubt. And I knew it was coming. But while being cautious, we also have to live.
jayballer67 Keep us posted on the situation, please.
@jayballer67 You have my prayers, my friend.
@BShark Why would OU quit recruiting him?
It seems that they are trying too hard to be more balanced, mix more run into their offense. And hey, I'm all for it, and Clyde was a steal. But don't forget your identity and what won you a Super Bowl.
@Crimsonorblue22 That would entirely depend upon which version of crazy you are talking 😏
@jayballer67 I hear what you're saying. To be honest, getting to even 2 wins this year would be a success. Sucks to say, but true.
@stoptheflop The cupboard was all but bare when Hatter took over. We have to rely on the run game as much as possible, play Mac at QB and try to eek out 2 or three victories. That's, sadly, the most that can be expected. I mean, looking at the schedule, who can we beat? K-State maybe. Then who?
@FarmerJayhawk Agree. While Mac is in his final year of eligibilty we have to play for this season, not next. Look, we're not going to win many games this year, but winning two or three is better than none.
@BShark That sucks.
@BShark Yeah, I know, but you and I are not that far off. The question is going to be, what is our identity? I have been thinking about what you said and you could be right as far as Thompson leading us in scoring. I hope Enaruna plays well this year.
@BeddieKU23 I was giving Bryce a 14 ppg average and Braun about 11, Dave 12. The wildcards are Enaruna and even Wilson.
@rockchalkwyo We'll have about a 67 ppg average. The D should still be pretty good, and it's going to have to be. We will run more, but there is no more Dok to clog the middle or Dot to drive inside.
Man, gonna be a long football season in Lawrence, Manhattan and Ames. I confess to having a soft spot for OU when it comes to football, Rattler is the real deal, and the D is stepping up too in Grinch's 2nd season.
@approxinfinity Oh yeah, we will definitely be faster paced. I'm looking forward to seeing Braun and Enaruna play. I think that Enaruna will step up this year.
@BShark Man, a 6'6 PG.
@BShark So you think that Bryce will be our number one scorer?
@BShark kind of the Rodman way, huh?
@jayhawkblue73 is he a three year guy for us or a two? It would be interesting to see him and Muscadin play together when or if they had the chance.
@approxinfinity We are The United States of America, ofcourse we will
@approxinfinity Mistakes were made, no doubt.
@benshawks08 It could have been, had we not banned international travel. I would have banned it as soon as the first reports came out, not have waited even a day and certainly not a month.
@approxinfinity I saw that on TV, when they were digging them.... I am not claiming to have all of the answers, and am certainly not heartless. Man, I hope that we get a vaccine soon. I really hope so.
People watch sports for escape.
70 people where I live have tested positive for Covid-19, all 70 have recovered, no deaths - one of whom, no lie, was a 95 year old woman in a nursing home. We are the 3rd most populous nation in the world, are not authoritarian and have two little things that are called state and civil rights. Quite frankly, I expected the losses to be worse.
@benshawks08 And I respect your opinion. I think that is dangerous when damn near every aspect of our national life - and I am not only talking about what is going on now - seems to somehow have social and or political issues interwined - sports, award shows, social media, everything.
@benshawks08 Come on, my friend, I didn't mean it like that and you know it. I realize that they are human beings.
@benshawks08 Oh stop, they are a corporate product, man. People do not watch sports in order to see see pre-packaged protest and or political statements.
@kjayhawks Agreed. I got off that train a long time ago.
That Houston (loved the Phi Slamma Jamma) Georgetown matchup is what got a very little kid that was me into watching college basketball.
@benshawks08 Nor will I go there. But to say that those places can be open while bankrupting small businesses?
@approxinfinity The part that you know someone who died of Covid-19, that part.
@benshawks08 I wear a mask, and socially distance as well. I'm not saying put people at risk, but many businesses have not been allowed to open in some states and it's flat out wrong. I mean, come on, Disneyland can be open but not a barber shop or hair salon?
@approxinfinity and that was and is a problem. And yes, we need to and should move on. We are the 3rd most populous nation in the world, and we have a thing called states' right and American stubbornness that made the virus very difficult to contain. But look at Florida, about a month ago everyone was more or less saying that they were all getting ready to die (major para-phrasing) yet they are fine. Yes, time to move on.
@benshawks08 That was a bad use of words, it is real and there have been deaths. My point is, it is time to reopen the country.
I know none, to answer the question that I am now going to ask you. How many people do you know (and I'm not talking, "well, I have an acquaintance who has an uncle that," - no, I mean actually know) that has died from Covid? Be honest.
@Crimsonorblue22 Yeah, stay in your basement and hide or get out and live. I'll choose the latter. Question, how many people do you know who have died from Covid-19?
Let me rephrase (instead of using not buy), there have been sixty-some confirmed cases of covid-19 where I live so far, and every single one of them has recovered - even a 95 year old lady (no lie). I have never said that are no deaths, but am saying that it is time to fully reopen the country.
@Crimsonorblue22 I don't buy it, sorry.
@DanR I'm not talking about Kansas
@DanR Man, I'm not talking about just bars, I don't even go to bars (clubs yes, bars no). What I am talking about, though, is that there needs to be some consistency, for real. Disneyland, Disneyworld and Universal can be open but other businesses including barber shops and hair salons cannot? And kids not allowed to go to school? I'm not talking about Kansas, I'm talking about the nation. It seems that some states are picking their own high-dollar winners and what they view as small potato losers, and that is very uncool.
@approxinfinity I know what she was talking about. I say that while using common sense according to whatever area - and ofcourse some won't, but that is always how it goes - it is time to open all businesses nationwide.
@approxinfinity I didn't say that nobody is dying. I said, hardly none of the new cases are dying or will die. You seem to see everything through a political lens, which is why you just wrongfully lambasted the CDC.
@Crimsonorblue22 I live in the United States of America. And despite the statistics, you - so many do it - conveniently left out the most important one, hardly none of the new cases are dying or will.
