Here's the KUSports link ↗ to Calvert's post game comments after KU ended their season against Oklahoma St. yesterday. Calvert talks about tossing a drink in Vick's face and uses the line "he knows why". When Calvert was reinstated after her suspension was rescinded, she still voluntarily chose to sit out. She thinks someone other than Coach Schneider was responsible for her decline in play and that it had nothing to do with her being the worst shooter on the worst shooting team.

Just reading the article (it was written by Keegan), Calvert comes across as a little immature and looking to blame everything but her poor play for her decline in minutes. It could be the way TK wrote the article, but those are Calvert's words and that's how her words came across to me.

I will give Allen credit for developing his game and using more than his feet to try and hurt people. He's finally showing signs of development and progress.

@Crimsonorblue22 Mostly early 2nd round so there's a realistic chance he comes back next year. If he's back, he's B12 preseason POY.

@dylans Even if KU lost to TCU/OU, they're gonna be the 1 seed in the Midwest in Tulsa and KC.

@RockChalkinTexas Let the media put all the attention and pressure on UNC. Hell, I hope the committee does make UNC the overall 1 seed to give KU a chip on their shoulders in the tournament.

@wissox Landen is the MVP. Take anyone else off this team (including Mason or Jackson) and KU is still Big 12 champs. Take Landen off and this team finishes the regular season with 10+ losses guaranteed.

Oklahoma State is going to be really good next year if Evans returns. Evans could end up winning national hardware next season if he returns, or at least B12 POY.

KU might hit 100 at this rate.

@DCHawker I can't imagine any of the coaches think Svi on Forte is a good idea.

Why was Svi guarding Forte?

@DCHawker Yes, so anywhere between 2 and 9 games left for Frank after tonight. Hopefully 8 or 9 as I really don't care if KU wins the Big 12 tourney or not as long as they win the first one.

@kjayhawks No it won't. KU builds the lead back up, OSU cuts the lead, this happens several times and KU wins a close one in the end.

@wissox All the Gameday games have been at 7:15 this year. This isn't special treatment

@kjayhawks No it's not, KU has done this ever since Doke went down. Go on a mini spurt to build a 10-12 point lead, rest a little on defense for 3-4 possessions, build the lead up again, rinse and repeat.

This is how Self has been resting his guys without actually subbing them out ever since Doke got hurt.

@DCHawker Coleby has started to pick up some minutes so if he becomes an 8-10 minute guy, that's huge for KU.

@Crimsonorblue22 Michigan St. was the top 2 seed last year and Villanova was the 7th overall seed so 3rd 2 seed.

@JayHawkFanToo They extended their 3 game streak in Morgantown to 4 this year.

I do think Coach K could. Definitely not this year's Coach K that was dealing with his own personal health issues, but a Coach K that wasn't distracted by any health issues I think would have a decent shot at equaling a 27-3 mark through 30 games. I don't think the losses would necessarily be the same, but I think a healthy Coach K would have a shot at a 27-3 record with KU's roster and schedule this year.

Not a chance with Cal. UK has a more talented roster top to bottom, a softer schedule than KU has had and has still lost 5 games this year.

2013 NCAA tournament match ups eliminate complete tournament engineering to me. Yes, we played North Carolina who was an 8 seed. Villanova was the 9 seed and Kansas and Villanova did not have a lot of history together, especially compared to 2 other 9 seeds, Missouri and Wichita St. Why would the NCAA avoid a potential KU-Missouri match up during Missouri's first year out of the Big 12? Why would they actively avoid a WSU game people have wanted to see for awhile?

Put either one of those two teams as a 9 seed against UNC and we were guaranteed a highly publicized 2nd round game no matter what instead of a 50/50 shot at one.

He'll get a shot someday pretty soon. Probably mid to low major level. He's young and he's been on staff with both Self and Brown so he's learned some things. I could see get a Missouri Valley job in the near future.

Villanova last year is the only one of the tournament losses that I truly believe officiating had a direct impact on.

The 2013 NCAA tournament is evidence against KU being set up. That was the year UNC was our 8 seed, but in two other regions as 9 seeds were Wichita St. and Missouri. This was Missouri's first year in the SEC, but the NCAA chose to send Missouri elsewhere.
