I was able to use FF and Chrome ok.
Fast and loose baby!
It's very basic. Its on the menu bar and it doesn't have authentication, so there's no guarantee anyone is who they say they are. That being said, it should be fast, and if it crashes, its served on another server, so the board should be fine. Feel free to use it, but we should have something with authentication, persistence of chat text (that chat will disappear when you leave the room), and a better look and feel complete for future games.
Actually, I'm turning it off until tomorrow.
We now have a chatroom (see header bar) but no authentication on it. Enjoy. It ain't pretty, but it should work. I'm aiming for authentication and a decent layout for next game.
Agreed, @Blown. A handful of people have made a similar assessment and it's valid. The NodeBB guys liked the ideas people brought up about it, and I think if we can survive a while longer in the current format, either they or possibly I will try to make a change that makes it easier to sort by post date.

I think it depends on a few things, including the gap in shooting ability between White / Greene / Frankamp. Self needs a shooter that will keep the D honest - if Frankamp is significantly more consistent than the other two, he won't get redshirted.
Also, I think it's interesting thinking about how McClemore's stock was significantly improved by being off the radar for a red-shirt year and then bursting onto the scout's scene. I wonder whether Brannan is anticipated to be a 4 year guy. This might be a route that Brannan is interested in if he wants to leave early, and wants to improve his stock.

@drgnslayr going back to your earlier post about server space, I'm assuming having set up imgur so we can drag and drop images into our posts is good enough. The caveat is that I'm not sure what sort of accessibility people outside of this forum have to those images. Typically, I wouldnt imagine anyone would want to upload images that they would care about being public here. I think we'll be ok regarding copyright infringement, because as @edwardsdl pointed out, court cases have ruled that as long as the image isnt served by us, just linked to, its not copyright infringement.

@globaljaybird thanks man. It was a hectic week, but I'm relaxing a lot more now. I was pretty neurotic during the early stages of this and posted some stuff where I thought after "man, that came off wrong" like about enforcing a standard for news stories ( @parishawk ) ... Those kinds of things just work themselves out... I feel like we're there now.

@wishawk I don't think it's really a big deal about the content in posts. I like the approach of using hosting sites and then linking for your stuff in a post that makes more sense than having to upload or send to me. I think I am more concerned about what images we use for the site of we add pics into our layout. I'm stoked we can embed images in posts. Will have to read up on markdown syntax in like @baris provided.

Not sure, @wishawk -- I'm going to curb this one and try to revisit later ok? I agree that things seem a little chaotic with how our threads are organized. I think being that we are the largest instance of nodebb in the wild, the volume of stuff we have here may be new to even the designers, and scenarios that nobody has totally considered are being played out. Those guys have already done a ton of stuff for us in the last few days, and I'm sure they're very interested in how a population of our magnitude handles it's volume of stories. Let's just see how things play out for a little while on this ok?
