@wissox ...well KU is playing a trash WVU team. UK is in a top 15 matchup while Duke is playing another top 5 team. No slight today...I think...maybe.

We moved over the summer, somehow in the move a few things got misplaced...happens. Among those things was a PSA 10 autographed Pat Mahomes card. (We’ve established I’m a bit of a sports collector.) No biggie, I paid around $100 hopefully it’ll show up. 6 months later I’ve written it off as gone, so I look on ebay to see if I can find another. Sure enough there is the exact same card for sale! What are the odds there are only 4 in that condition and one is very missing?!? So I watch the auction when it hit $400 I was out...way too much for cardboard. And it ended up at $920+shipping. Now (last week) I’m a little disappointed, so I lament my loss to a friend of mine; the friend I had given my old dresser during the move. Luckily he decided to check the bottom of the dresser under the drawers and found my missing Mahomes card (and a Durrant rc pop 5). Happy day!

The Sprint Center is ok, but it’s not home. I know the few games I make it back for I try like heck to go to Allen fieldhouse. There’s just no place like it. It’s also why I wish the NCAA would allow the early round games to be at the higher seeded teams home court. The body of work should be rewarded more. That would do it without having to go double elimination. But I digress...
Second half Silvio. Who needs a non-con to get to the final four? Not Silvio!

Final Fours are kinda a big deal.
I’m not a fan of the way KU plays in the Sprint Center. It’s a friendly crowd, but it’s definitely not like a home game.

I don't have a total feel for them yet... but I do know it takes many things happening for a team like TTech to dethrone Kansas. Depth is a huge part of that. It's a long season. No one gets hurt? No mid-season slump? Will they beat us in either game? They avoid trap game loses? They win all home games?
We need to remember how young we are.... And consider how bad we've shot from trey. Shouldn't we be very hopeful that Kansas will come on strong late in the season?
I like our chances. I will always like our chances until the streak is over!
Beard is a difference maker. He is going to push KU/Self. The conference title isn’t a lock...I like it. Competition can only make Kansas and Bill better.
Less fouls, depth is partially negated by all the timeouts during the tourney. Still nice to have, but it’s harder to run teams into the ground.

I know who I want, even though the Chargers are a better team right now.

I am apparently quicker to give up on a season than Bill. I thought the chemistry sucks and the pieces don’t really fit why throw another part at it? I thought 5th year Ochai would be more valuable than freshman Ochai. I don’t know that my thoughts have changed, but I don’t watch him practice every day. I’m not sure what to think about this deal. Seems shortsighted...Even if it keeps the streak alive. Time will tell.
5th year Ochai is more valuable than freshman Ochai will be. This team needs to figure its own problems out. There is no savior in waiting.

You can argue against the rules, but until they are changed it is what it is. Silvio or someone acting on Silvio’s behalf allegedly took money. Either he plays and is ruled ineligible later forcing KU to forfeit games as they cheated by playing an ineligible player. Or he sits and awaits his punishment, hopefully time served. Or he plays like Ayton at Arizona or Zion at Duke and the fans have a moral dilemma -or not depending on morals (I prefer less gray area).
Say you don’t agree with the pot laws in KS - it doesn’t make weed any more legal. Right or wrong it is the law(rule).
Unfortunately this is a situation that trying to do the right thing is excruciating painful as the NCAA won’t just rule. Just as likely the NCAA has made a ruling and KU is appealing trying to save the kids eligibility, eligibility that his guardian may have thrown away. Silvio is the unfortunate victim, but his camp may not be without fault. - the getaway driver at a bank heist gone wrong can be charged with murder too.
