@mayjay 😆might wreck their sos though.
KU could do both if they wanted. It’s really only one game per challenge, so 2 good quality non-con games.
@jayballer73 Love you man. Sorry for your loss. There is no explaining the heartless nature of sociopaths. Just take solace that the murdering sob is in jail and not walking free.
@Statmachine burn!
@kjayhawks Hunter started? I barely remember him getting on the court. Holy cow 11 starts. I can’t remember him doing anything.
Wasn’t going to play, so no big loss outside of practice. Hope he finds that elusive playing time he yearns for wherever he ends up.

45 minutes west of Dodge City.
@JayHawkFanToo 2 teams in LA, but Kawhi would prefer the Lakers according to most reports. *probably sans LeBron if he had his way as you say
Yeah we get big wind here all the time. Worst I’ve been out in the field for was 119mph. Avg 14 mph of every minute of every day. 80 mph plus a few times this year so far. The most wicked wind storm I recall had a little tornado in it and dropped 5.5 pound hail stones 6 miles east of town. The ground looked like the surface of the moon with all the craters in the worked fields.
Glad to hear you made it our ok @jayballer73 no serous damage to your property I assume.
@jaybate-1.0 Who? Lol.
@Kcmatt7 Bid it up! Locker room access and you get to watch the shoot around as well as get into the ESPN broadcast van. It’d be a fun experience.
Hope you can go again this year.
@Crimsonorblue22 No. who doesn’t belong?
57 minutes to go get your bids in! 😀
Wanna go?
A little out of my price range, but it sure looks like a ton of fun.
@DoubleDD I think it was Al Bohl. And he was fired before Bill Self was hired.
http://www2.ljworld.com/news/2007/nov/21/exkansas_athletic_director_lauds_hires_pinkel_mang/ ↗
Maybe Al Bohl should be consulted on this next hire too? He has quite the history. Saban, Pinkel, Mangino.
@JayHawkFanToo It’s from too long ago. I don’t remember where just what. No mention of a win total ultimatum, just being on the hot seat in this article from ‘07 http://www.cstv.com/tsx/11202007/m-footbl/kan.html ↗
@JayHawkFanToo You do realize that Perkin’s wanted to fire Mangino before the Orange Bowl season, right? He told him before the season 10 wins or you’re out.
Don’t have to enjoy something to appreciate it.
@wissox Back to the old ways of letting guys go they think they can’t afford, either by trading them for lower value players or just watching them walk.
They are all in on young pitchers right now.
Are you referencing the draft of 2015 with 6 UK guys selected? 3 freshmen, 2 soph, 1 junior. 2012 they had 2 soph and 3 freshmen drafted.
UK had 4 guys drafted from the class of 2010, 3 in 2011, 3 in 2012, 4 in 2013, 4 in 2014, 2 in 2015, 3 in 2016, and however many this year. Not all drafted were Freshmen, but most were.
3 OADs would be pretty par for the course. The only time Cal had line changes was due to returning players as well as a stacked class.
Could you point me towards the class you are referencing? Maybe Duke? I don’t see 10 OADs on a team. There were guys Cal forced out after their freshman year to make room like Gabriel, maybe that has inflated your impression?
@jaybate-1.0 who had 10 of the top 10? I’m confused as to your argument. The number 1 & 2 recruiting classes in the nation aren’t good enough? I think we’d be pretty upbeat if KU had such a class.
@JayHawkFanToo for anyone be not named Kentucky the number 2 class would be great. Just sayin.
@jaybate-1.0 4 of the top ten and 1,2,3 is a pretty salty class. Kentucky is experiencing an off year, but it’s still a good year by anyone else’s standards.

It is coming before the end of the agreement. as early as 2021 ↗ or even 2020.
Silver has said he must give teams time to plan for the change as the value of those draft picks go up significantly with basically 2 classes to chose from that season. So old trades need to be taken into account. It’s a the timeline is soon, but not next season type of deal.
Yay!
Doesn’t Bill claim out of state income for the away games? Svi could do the same.
@jaybate-1.0 ehh Duke signed guys ranked 1,2,3. I think they’ll be ok.
@jayballer73 yup. Baseball... I only care every 20 years or so when the Royals are good. And even then I only care about the Royals not the opposition.
I’d have to care a heck of a lot more about the Yankees to bother hating them.

You said, "If your Naïve enough to think Coach’s don’t use profanity - then your living under a rock - you don’t think NFL Coach’s don’t get physical? - mercy what world you live it?"
That's stirring the pot sir. It's just ironic to me since your post from a few days ago.
I’ll fix it so it’s not so offensive to the teacher in ya! @wissox 😆
If you’re naive enough to think coaches don’t use profanity, then you are living under a rock! You don’t think NFL coaches get physical?!? Mercy, what world are you living in?
Perkins wanted Mangino gone and got it done. But it’s pretty telling that Mangino isn’t a head coach somewhere else.
@jayballer73 Machado says he’s not willing to change position from short stop in a trade.

I am not sure if you are serious or just kidding. Collison is 2 years older, played just a few mpg in the last few years and yet he was able to mentor several of the younger OKC players. Parker is younger than Collison, a 6 time All Star and has 4 NBA titles and I am sure he would be a great mentor for Devonté.
I think the winky face is a clue...
Repeating myself. Delete isn’t working.
@BShark To be completely open, I only watch KU basketball until the tourney or nba finals. I don’t feel like I’m missing out on much.

Beaty has 6 games to prove himself. Venables would be the best target out there. He's a defensive guy which means he would dump Bowen's ass in a heartbeat. He would also give KU a chance to retain Hull.
I love Les Miles, but at 64, I don't see him being a realistic option at this point unless there's also a coach in waiting named as well because Miles wouldn't be here for long. On the plus side though, he would also likely give KU a good shot at retaining Tony Hull.
After how Bielema crashed and burned at Arkansas, would it really be a smart move to hire the same guy that got Long fired from his previous job? I'd pass on Bielema at this point because he struggled within the SEC going 11-29 in league games. If he went to a Group of 5 school and won like he did at Wisconsin, I'd be more open to it then, but not right now.
Brady Hoke just got hired as an NFL assistant coach with the Carolina Panthers and wasn't impressive as an OC at Oregon in 2016 or Tennessee last year. I would take a hard pass on Hoke at this point as well.
I don't think KU is really hiring from a position of power. I think any of these guys could bring KU up to respectability. I think Miles would be ideal because you could then move on once he would want to retire and hopefully had KU football in a better spot.
I was trying to come up with good short term hires as well. No way to lure a big time coach as the program stands. You need someone’s last stand a 4-5 year retirement tour gettting the program back to respectability before the big hire. At least that was my thought a few days ago. Let’s see who the football coach is next season.

So much brain power spent on the NBA .. a mind is a terrible thing to waste. And "terrible" is in a Charles Barkley voice.
I much prefer the NBA to college hoops. If it weren't for KU I don't think I would watch.
I don’t know if we can be friends any more. 😆
I’ve pushed for Brent Venebels for years. Dude’s due a head coaching gig given his pedigree.

You all realize the title to this thread grabs the attention, and the post posed other questions, right? "Or is Nike defending that high ground by moving its big gun into place by the Hollywood sign?"
The question is whether Nike influenced the move to LA ... whether taking that big market with Lebron relates to Puma's insertion into the market.
——————————
Some missed that last question.
Then when you called their attentions to it, insight did not follow as would be expected.
The question is why?
My post was not very long.
Nor was yours.
Not very plausible. Thus not much interest.
Taking off work early this evening 8pm or so to enjoy the fireworks, grill some brauts, and drink a cold one (or two). I love the Fourth of July one of my favorite times of the year!
@JayHawkFanToo finished 4-20. Ouch. Still hasn’t seen a shot he doesn’t like. Gotta love the coaching he’s received up to his point— no shot selection. Proving that yes Virginia there is such thing as a bad three point shot.
Bump yay!
@Lulufulu caught in the crossfire.
@JayHawkFanToo was just throwing @jaybate-1-0 own recent choice of words back at him.
@dylans will now duck out with his helmet on. 😆

It better be early in the day.
@BShark I like my version better. Lol
Bitch, I’m the Bill?
@justanotherfan ehh it’s all about the eye test. Carter looks like a decent roll player with starter potiental. Bagley looks like a potiental all star. It doesn’t matter which team they were on. Bagley may have gone #1 with no Carter stealing his shine. Or the effect of trying to guard two bigs at the collegiate level may have led to mismatches and not nearly as many double teams as if they were the focal point of the o/d.
I think he was plenty well evaluated and drafted in the correct spot.
@Crimsonorblue22 I really like the LeBatard show. Theta are a bunch of blithering idiots, but he’s not wrong on this topic.
