Watching some really bad games tonight, maybe just me but these games are or what seems to me really ugly. - -Texas/ Butler at the half 22-19 Texas - -Texas does not impress me at least not in this game, careless passes, horrible shot selections - Both teams really.

Just watched Arkansas - -Oklahoma , pretty good game. I'll just say this. I'll give credit where credit is due, & Trey Young is legit. Some really sweet passes, they say he is leading the Nation in asst avg like 11.5 a game right now.
With that being said looks to me like a Buddy Hield /Oklahoma part 2. -maybe a little better, think Trey a lot better passer, but I'll say this - Trey is going to cost Oklahoma some games too, especially early. - Taking some of his near 1/2 court shots in crunch time - some forces Again Trey is legit - the rest I'm not overly concerned about - -solid team but not a great team. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Well looking at the recruiting for next year - these early verbal's we got from the Louisiana kids - -as of this point at least they still committed.
Pookie Williams & Colonie Harris both going to commit early on the 20th of December. - they both saying they going to commit on the same day - -Neither have I seen anything about reading anywhere where they have de-commited from KU - Plus being said at this point Devonta still committed to KU. - -That doesn't mean that come December 20th these guys don't commit somewhere else - but they haven't said different at this time.

Interview I read where they talked to Romeo's Dad. He says they want to look at each School a little bit more, Want to watch the Coaching style a little bit , how they're doing with their team and go from their. Talked about the Three schools.
Indiana: - -He is homegrown and making history by staying at home and going to IU. We like their style of offense that Archie Miller has, they brought the one they had from Dayton , he brought that to Indiana, we like that, still want to see a bit more and also get to know the Coaching staff a little bit more too. ( I'm not sure who he was referring to when he says bringing the one he had from Dayton )
Vanderbilt:- - Coach Drew for one played NBA ball for five or six years and his style of offense, Romeo can see himself filling in that style of offense. But we like that program and the Coaching style also.
KU :- - We like Coach Self as a Coach and we also like the program We like the staff. He( Coach Self ) - has already mentioned that they were going to try and get those two guys - - Dotson & Grimes they finally got Grimes, he was talking about doing a three way offense for his guards, and having Romeo , Quentin , & Devon take the ball up the court, so we don't see any problems with that.
The one thing he says that kind of concerns me is , his dad says they want to try and take some visits, syas they want to try to get down there and watch Vandy play a home game if we can fit it into our schedule, and also go to IU and watch them.
What concerns me some is he says as far as Kansa we don't know how close they'll get to us so we don't know if we can make that trip. From what I have seen my take anyways is that it sure looks like SVI is a lot more aggressive. Not just settling for the three - -he is driving the ball to hitting the mid range jumper and such - This is what he has been needing to do. Loving his aggression.-

Had tor wanted to check on our under talented Mitch lightfoot. - Not to bad for the guy.
Shooting 53.8% - from the field , - 60%-- from 3pt - - light on the rebounds but a lot of that is bulk I think, just gets pushed around , and just not good positioning, but give him more time to develop only 2.8 rpg - - - -leads the team in blocks with 11 - - -ya needs to take care of the ball better 7 to's - -2 assists - and averaging 4.5 ppg - -Not Bad averages 13.3 minutes per game. Now w all know if and when Billy comes back - playing time will decrease - -or when De-Sousa gets here it will decrease. - Like I've said before I like Mitch may not be the most talented, may make some mistakes but then again who on the team doesn't? - -He will ALWAYS give 100%, a kid that bust his butt, maybe not the best at it - redshirt him next year if he will. - I think more then anything he just need some bulk.

I have this feeling and think it would be good , but I think there is a very good chance Coach at least talks to and or takes a look at Sosinski. Like has been mentioned, at the least for the use of depth , some spare minutes if and when Doke gets in foul trouble or being able to catch a break for a couple of minutes here and there.
With the Preston situation being the way it is, to when he returns OR if he will return it makes perfect sense. As far as production/point wise from him we don't have to have that really - -it's not like he going to be playing 15-20 minutes a game even if he scores 6 pts a game - -good enough. A player to help Doke , grab a few rebounds that's all we ask. - We have plenty of scorers to have to count on him for huge scoring output. - I think he may just land on the bench before it's all said and done.
Seth Greenburg during halftime last night sure talked like De-Sousa was coming, he said helps on the way soon from De-Sousa. Nothing new with or about Billy. - -Now been a week and nothing? Well here is what I'm thinking , let me say by far not the only one thinking this way but - - - I think KU is in serious trouble as far as Billy goes, don't think we will ever see him touch the floor the rest of this year, which in turn means we won't see Billy playing anymore at KU.
There is some real isues here, His mom said it's Billy's car , she says she did what she thought she needed to do, BUT didn't realize there was other things that needed done right? - -From my understanding , most of this is about the finanical part of this right? - -how Billy got the car and such?
One would think with Billy's mom saying it's Billy's car the she knows all about how he obtained the car. If she bought it which is very feasible as from what I've heard she has no issues with money, then this should of been a issue very easily cleared up. - she would of just said I bought the car for Billy, and produced all the legal documents to support her buying the car. - This has beed turned over to compliance, so it's all about eligiblity which tells me she didn't buy the Car for Billy, that someone else has either give him the car OR bought the car for him. - -Which IF that is what happened then he is screwed for impermissible benefits. - -Has to be more to this.
So with this being said , this does not bode well for the boys. - We are so thin , I'm afraid that as the season goes we are going to wear down and take a beating up front with alot of these teams - -not that were not good - - it's just we are so dam THIN- - no depth at all in the front court. - -We just have to get De-Sousa in here hopefully some how soon. On top of that I think we still should really look at checking into the Football player that was mentioned , had good size , has played Basaketball at a JR College I beieve and put up some decent numbers in points and rebounds both, If we could somehow get De-Sousa here - -add the football player & then Sam finally get in - -THEN we would be fine. I just really feel we sure could use both De-Sousa AND the walkon .
