Had people listing Williamson - - a lot of Johnson - those were the big two - -some said Bol Bol, - - Herro - - - - kind of odd not ONE of them mentioned Grimes - - Not ONE. - - looks like their fans anyways are not very confident he is signing there at all.

Kind of odd seeing as I keep hearing from people oh look out for Kentucky - -umm NO Quentin Grimes will not commit to Kentucky -- again Quentin Grimes will not commit to Kentucky , take it to the bank - -lock the doors - -that ship is gone - -not happening. - -Another tale tale sign for me that he is not committing is Cal is going back to visit Herro -- -AGAIN, that's not going to happen if Grimes commits, cause they would be competing for the same spot - -as Quickley will be their main PG - -Grimes would be playing the 2 - -same as Herro.

I still feel really confident Quentin lands here - - I still say IF we have any worries it would be - - -Texas being from Texas - - knowing a lot of players off the squad and being really familer with the staff.

Read what I call the typical reaction from a recruit or family after a official visit. - Romeo's dad said that the visit went " Very Well " - -that they liked the facilities & Campus.

Also said it is looking a little more like he might tend to be leaning to signing in the early period according to Eric Bossi. - -Bossi said a few weeks ago he would of given KU a slight edge for Langford BUT since his visit to Indiana looks like they really helped themselves out a lot. - That the edge might have swung back over to Indiana. - He believes it will still come down to Ku & Indiana

At this point guys for me - - - -Give me Grimes and call it good, I'll be completely satisified. - - We get him and then maybe some other maybe lesser know lower 3-4 year solid player what would be wrong with that class? - -NOTHING. - -unless on the very unlikely remote chance Zion would commit that would be beyond - but highly doubtful- - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Read just a little bit about how West Virginia & Coach Huggins says because of his depleted roster , he is considering pulling back on his vaunted all over the court doesn't matter where , when , full court press. - -Says he is going to have to be more of an pick and choose type approach with it.

I think this is going to hurt them plenty. - -Them forcing turnovers leading to easy buckets 5-4 - - 4-3 advantages was 3/4 of their success. If they get into a lot of 1/2 court scenario's I think they are going to be in trouble. - -They run ugly half court schemes, a lot of very average shooters. - -They for sure need a up beat tempo. Seriously I love KU football, I just as everyone else just wish that something positive would happen for this program. - -Coach Beaty seems to be like a really nice guy, - -I was fired up when he was hired , I''ve stuck with him - - but it's kind of hard when you see what we are putting on the field and what the production we have gotten.

I know if you have seen some/most of my other posts you know I am not a Bender lover by any means - -still not - -won't be BUT it boils down to if you can't block for your running backs , open holes - - if you can't pass protect give the QB time where he is running for his life 3/4 of the game - -which Bender can't run - -Bender can't sludge- -but if you can't protect the QB doesn't matter who you got - you could have Brady - - Rogers - -whoever wouldn't matter, - -until that gets fixed were screwed.

Our other MAIN problem I think is and this was suppose to be one or our few strengths on this team - - it's our D-Line - - where is our D-Line? -How many TFL'S do we have? -How many QB sacks do we have? - -our defensive line is non exsistent. - -I understand some, - -D Armstrong is getting doubled almost all the time - -where is the rest of the line? - -This was suppose to be one of the better D-Lines in the conference. - -How many fumbles have we forced?

We knew our secondary was going to be a major weakness and it is - but part of that is because if a QB any QB is given the amount of time the opposing QB'S are getting - -they gonna tear any secondary apart - -you can only cover for so long before someone gonna break free. - -How many INT'S do we have? -At some point you think it's got to come down to a matter of pride for these kids - -do they have any? - -Aren't they as a team getting a little tired of these types of games - -tired of being the laughing stock of College football? Some thing has got to change - -I'm just not sure where to start.

The easy answer is fire Coach - - -AGAIN - -that's not the answer, we just can't continually fire Coaches every two-three years, your never going to get any kind of consistency with that approach. - -Makes it harder to recruit players not even knowing if the one they got recruited by going to be there for their four years or not. - -blows up ANY kind of team chemistry we actually might have. - I will say this though - -maybe we need to fire for a change the entire Defensive side of the ball - -all of them clean slate. - - it's always the head Coach and some defensive get retained - I don't see any on the defensive that SHOULD BE retained. - -I like Clint but Damn he is terrible I don't know - -I just don't know. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@BeddieKU23 Well just strictly from the CB standpoint - -looking like they have a really good chance of landing Langford AND Darius Garland both - -lot of movement for Garland recent which I find interesting too. - -Again I think it could be big that w got the last visit , although he is close in Indiana so he could always visit there AGAIN no problem.

Well guess I was way off base or something. I sure thought we were out of the race or had back off Matthew Hurt. Read that the entire staff paid Hurt a visit Monday after seeing Grimes a well.

I just feel with all we will have in 2019 just not sure where Hurt fits in. @justanotherfan I am just really impressed with how quick Devon Dotson - -really quick/fast. Plus loves to take the ball to the hole, needs to work on outside shot but I'm sure that will come. - -Multi year player, I could see with more development, progression being a 3 yr player maybe 4 but I'm thinking at the end of Jr yr he will test NBA waters. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LON BABY

Read where Quentin enjoyed his visit to Marquette. Was surprised at the level of the program. Said he thinks it far exceeded his expectations as far as where they are as a program according to his AAU director of Basketball.

The talent on the team , and the facilities and the whole nine yards , think he left there with a good feeling about where they are and what their future looks like. Marquette's pitch is Grimes is their main man going forward come in and be the guy. They feel he has a chance to be a one-and-done. That if Quinten comes there he has a really good supporting cast of guys and he could take the program to another level.

Says now his visits are done going to over the next couple of weeks going to weigh options with his family and inner circle. Mainly gonna take a week or so just to chill and relax and focus on getting ready for his high school season. Over the next two weeks sit down with the family and Coach Teddy Wheeler of his AAU team and figure out the pro's and con's of each team.

He is wanting to plan to announce in November and be a part of the early signing period. Said that each school has done a really good job of where he would fit, what his role would be and what they expect of him.

Having said all of that I feel that it would just really floor me if he commits to Marquette. - -I still think believe it or not that our main competition for him is Texas. - All in all I still feel we get this guy and add to our awesome class - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

This is so difficult to handicap right now. I'd put Preston 99% to go, not as sure on Vick or Doke.
If you would of ask a week ago - -I would of said all 3 gone - -Now for some reason any reason - I get a little feel Doke just might be back - -don't ask me why. - The only thing is - -on the other hand , I just couldn't see him coming back with us landing McCormack and De-Sousa - - makes me feel Coach pretty much told those two Doke was gone - - I don't know.
