@Crimsonorblue22 Your welcome. - -The only thing for sure is that if the School ( WSU has earned any kind of profit - -money distribution from NCAA winnings then yes any of the sport would have to forfeit those winnings back to the MVC.

The way it was stated Is that there is no exit fee for leaving the conference, but saying that WSU or any school must give 24 months notice for withdrawal for the school to keep their distributions, But the school will have to forfeit ALL MVC distributions if the school gives less then a 12 month notice. So ya if any sport were to receive any distribution they would have to forfeit those distributions.

The AAC is voting tomorrow about accepting WSU into the league, has to be approved by 9-12 schools for acceptance but surpose to be just a formality, no problem being accepted. They are looking at starting play in the league as early as this upcoming season.

They WILL have to pay an entrance fee to join the AAC. , I read that the MVC is meeting to discuss their future with out WSU, talking about the possibility of another school for WSU - they are Valpo - - Belmont - - Neb-Omaha- -just more schools that for sure isn't wowing anybody. - -Hope this helped. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

He hasn't played a down here yet I think people might be thinking he is going to be another 2nd coming, we've seen that play before - -didn't work. - If he proves out, he proves out I'm not as confident. Actually like you say you thought he would come in and win out or him and Tyreik would win out easily. So that hasn't happened which means one of two things. - -Either Carter has improved and worked to get better so far - -which I have no problem with- OR Bender isn't as much as some wanna make him out to be.

Actually I was hoping Starks would get a better opportunity, but as soon as Bender committed it was almost like POOF ok have a seat. - -At first I was afraid he was just instantly going to hand the starting job to Bender. - -Again we have went that route - and we saw what happened there with good old Charlie. Was listening to an interview of my local WIBW sports talk show, they were interviewing CJ Moore from bleacher report. Was talking about Bragg, and he said he fully looks for Bragg to come back for his JR year.

He said normally rumors fly - -people talk right around final four time, or at the final four you will hear the rumors about transfers or firings this and that and he said the thin g is he has heard absolutely NOTHING about Bragg transferring, saying there was nothing about a possible transfer, and again he said usually if that's happening or talking about happening your gonna hear something.

He said he thinks because of the way things played out he thinks that it's just goin to serve as a HUGE motivational factor for Carlton next year, saying that KU for sure seen enough in his Freshman year, they know the potential is there. Soo Maybe Ya Bragg DOES return - -I for one hope he does I still believe in him, I think he has things where he could really help out. Put this season behind him and progress hell he might bust his butt this summer to improve things for himself - -for the team. Ya , I read that article today also. About the only thing I can say is this , I'm a Carter Stanley fan, was all of last year too, was glad to see when it finally happened for him to et his shot. - Actually for what he had to deal with , our suspect O-Line I felt he done pretty well , and with more experience hope things can work out. Also I am glad that at least Coach Beaty isn't just handing the Job to Bender. If I'm not mistaking that was pretty much the scenario with Heaps and Crist - -Not saying Coach Beaty did that but you get where I'm coming from - - make him earn it.

The one Big thing I also worry about is how Tyreik has kind of been tossed aside seems like , like a third glove. - -Seems if I remember right how stoked Coach was when we got his commitment, say he was a true fit for us because of him being a true dual threat QB which is exactly what he was looking for , for our system. making the opposition respect the QB'S running ability , an option type QB as well as his arm. - Now you don't hardly ever hear his name mentioned, I'm afraid he will get frustrated and transfer out. - I think that would be a big loss for the program. WTH? - - I just don't understand , or comprehend , HOW is it Good Ol Roy was here at what 14-15 yrs , can't rmember which - -thinking 15 yrs right? - - So how or why is it , he is here that length of time and acheives NO titles , and yet goes to UNC and whens like 3 in the same span of time?

I really don't think anyone can really justify that the players he has had at UNC is/was THAT much beter then what we have / or had here at KU. Especially this year , you can't tell me that the players he had o this team is bete then KU'S squad. - -He really hasn't had alot of OAD'S during his time at UNC - -true , sure he ha had some , but he for sure is not a OAD factory machine say like Duke. He ha had alot of 3 yr and even such as this yr 4 yr players- -One example not the only example but look at Kennedy Meeks for example just another 4 year player with Roy - - Justin Jackson for sure ya pretty good player , BUT in no way is he that much better then the players if he was better then our group this year. - - Isn't ummm can't think of their name right at the moment thier PG ( Berry ) is that right? - You gonna tell me he is bete then Frank , and isn't he a SR ? even if not another 3 year player. This has been the case in previous years , although they have had very good teams , I just don't see where the overall talent of their teams of Good Ol Roy has been that much better then ours here at KU.

So this is where I'm having the trouble , if he can get it done like that at UNC - -then why not here. I'm just not buying the fact of not being able to recruit here, not buying that. - -Agai refere back to the fore mentioned I am not buyin the fact that their players have sttod head and shoulders above ours, nope , nope , nope , So why the failure of Championship here? I will still take Bill anytime over Roy - - BUT just curious. One last thing on a seperate note - - Got to give Gonzaga a little more credit then what I thought. - -Guess they were actually a little better then I gave them. - -I was running with the theory like the media about - -weak conference, not having played anyoen during the year well a couple but for the most part. @mayjay I agree with what your saying , and I am now leaning more to Devonte coming back, earlier I just thought he was gone, really didn't have anything to base my thoughts on . now those feelings telling more then likely he comes back. I don't think it has anything to do with being close to Newman , a lot of players can have a close bond with other players, but when it comes to your future you do what's best for you - - not your friend.

Having said that I will be glad if Devonte comes back , no problem with any of the guys going to the combine and see where their at. -The one thing I feel differently about is I've thought this most of the year and I STILL feel this way, -- I just really think that Devonte quite possibly has hit his ceiling - -I really do not think he is going to improve his stock that much, he is at where he will probably still be in the draft NEXT year. - - This is not a knock on Devonte I really like him but I just don't think he will make a 1st round draft - - I just don't. Now I've seen where some people said he was even listed anywhere in the projected draft - - and I've seen where he was middle of 2nd round. - -I'm just not seeing a guy going from where he is nowhere to be found on a projected draft , to middle of the 2nd round , to a 1st round draft pick.

I think at the very best Devonte would still be a 2nd round pick somewhere- -but 1st round pick , I'm just not seeing it, that's why I say I think he has hit his ceiling, and that's why I've said during the year as far as declaring then if that's what he wanted to do might as well do it now, not getting much higher. @BeddieKU23 Ideally for me anyways I would have to think that if Bragg were to come back , I feel that he just has to play the 4 - -the 5 in the higher D-1 level is just not an option for him , I just don't believe he ever got comfortable in that position - he is more athletic - -mobile to play out on the floor , he DOES HAVE the jumper from distance , we have seen it in the past, I just would hope if he returns that some where along the line we could get somewhere this spring a more quality big man - -more natural 5 and let Bragg go outside - -better fir for him --but that's just me.
