So we got this Big win out of the way, actually to be honest was a little worried. So now looking ahead Texas Tech Saturday, Got to stay solid, focused. We have four games left on the road. Texas Tech , Baylor ( huge game ) Texas , and then the last Conference game Okla -St Not going to be easy. Glad the guys will maybe get a little down time between now and Saturday. Coach said nothing today and maybe light walk through the next.

I heard that our game on BIG MONDAY against WV - that we are going to try and set the record for the loudest arena in the Country, I wouldn't think that will be to hard considering who we play, make Allen shake.

@KUSTEVE See what I don't understand is, and being a former official I do remember this , each official has certain arera's of the floor where that's their area to call, so my question is how the hell one makes a call from all away across the opposite side of the court and then official right there makes NO CALL. totally out of their area of responsibility, several several missed or wrong calls. Multiple times Frank got mugged, and nothing, Josh gets called for a foul when he is sprawled on the floor with K-State player. Whaaaaaa?

In that case ya a lot of people think when you have players down on the floor there HAS to be a call - -thing is in this case, there was no ball control, if there is no ball control by a team then you can't make a call. - -The K-State player had no ball control when they called that foul on Josh, still loose. The foul called late against Devonte with Williams was a joke

But yet we will hear just like always, that KU pays the officials off, how the hell can we pay them off when we are in your barn? - -Are we paying them off when you only have 4 fouls in the entire first half? - - Are we paying them off when with like ten minutes to go in the game you have ONE foul and only six for the entire game? Like I stated earlier, now is when we find out about these players just really for sure how strong their bond is with Coach hull. - -I seen it mentioned multiple times, that these players look to Coach Hull as a father figure, how long they had known him.- - This guy is worth a million,Mike Lee is so valuable for us we have an open door to Louisiana right now. We shall see how strong of bond, these guys rally have. - -There is going to be an in-believable amount of pressure put on them from LSU - -Alabama Oklahoma - -all the big boys. - -We have just stepped into unchartered waters for us, we got down off the porch and runnin with the big boys, NOW we have to make sure we keep our big boy pants on and keep these studs sold on our program, we can't let up - -have to keep in constant contact with them.

Hey my friends , I was just sittinng on my couch this morning , and having random , scattered , various thoughts running about in my little pea brain and got to wondering and thought I knew my friends could tell me.

Am curious about some sports figures from the past: Does anyone know about what ever happened with Billy Packer , Al Mcquire , Digger Phelps , and Even the Ol Ray Meyer, And for that matter even his son Joey Myer?

I'm sure and afraid to realize that these individuals have passed on right? - -I'm sure that I probably seen/read somewhere but just can't remember- -sorry to say I'm dating my age , who knows how many more days I have myslef, seems like time is flying by. - I'm sure alot in here remember Ray - -let's see , you remember when he had Depaul at the top for a bit .

What was that time frame again? - -Could be wrong but wasn't that in the late 70's? Really looking forward to this year. Our program as we all are very aware was son down. Unbelievably down, That's what happens when you have a Coach ( Weis ) that is in it just for some pocket change for him. With that said, we are for sure on the upward trend. Coach's 1st yr - -yes zero wins, hard year, this last year we get two, Now is steadily getting HIS recruits, I think this defense can be pretty salty. Actually I'm not overly concerned about the offense, the big key with that is - -if we can just have our O-LINE give a little better protection then with the receivers we have, and our QB'S whoever that might be, & the running backs I think we will see actually quite a bit of improvement..

The individuals I want to watch this year I mean I want to watch their continues growth is our man D. Armstrong, - -and then I want to watch I think if I remember right Moseby our D-Lineman - - and our young stud Lee, man can that kid HIT , he put some hurting on some guys more then once last year, and then I want to watch there is a another kid that I believe that's going to be special, and he played last year I want to watch he continue to develop and that's Bean -really like him, I'm stoked and then if we hang on to these 2018 recruits.then look back cause we are about to jump on a run away train. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@Crimsonorblue22 That was one of the most frustrating things for me. - -How many times I counted at least 2-3 times where we came don and tried to make that ESPN high-lite play one of those quote unquote spectactular play the alley oop -- slam dunk, dam it just make the simple play and take the two. -- Between that and Josh getting beat time and time again not defending Burton those two things really hurt..

I have to agree, if we don't come out really focused tomorrow night we will get beat. Like another person said this team is not good enough to play really really good 1st half and then come out the 2nd and think we can put it in cruise control, just not that good.

Observations: - -the only thing a person could take from this is, if they are trying to gloss this loss over would be, for sports site talk is - -We at least didn't lose any ground in the Big 12 race & we probably won't take a huge hit in the rankings as the # 2 3 5 7 8 9 & 17 all lost - -Really shouldn't be looking at it this way but if your wanting to soothe your own feathers then you can take that approach. This is just awesome news. Now the one thing we have to sit back and see is - - -how strong of a bond have these players really formed with Coach Hull. - -The big thing will be is how true will they stay to their verbal commitments? K-State is gonna be pumped for the game because of a combination of things: Playing us within 2 at Ku - - Being big Monday - -Winning today at Baylor - -And the off the floor issues that we are going trough, these guys are going to be pumped up - -it's going to be a zoo.

We never play well at Oklahoma State - -seem like we play like crap. - Then Baylor just being Baylor. This thing is still wide open.
