We'll see, I'm not diminishing that it's Duke and they have talented players. They are playing big right now because they don't have Whitehead to plug in the starting lineup. It's a significant piece missing so they are adjusting right now. Roach is their only guard playing well since he's a vet, their other prized guard has been downright awful in their 2 games so far.

We're minus Self for this matchup so Duke is extremely lucky there & perhaps that's something we need to take a bit more serious than we have. If this game is played right, KU shouldn't have to worry about their size as much as Duke has to worry about KU's firepower in the backcourt/wing. I think we hold a significant advantage on the perimeter in this game & that should ultimately lead to a KU victory.

Agree that if we can push the tempo where we like it that would be ideal. I do wonder how our half-court offense will look against good teams (hence why I was surprised how cohesive this group has looked in warmup games) since we have so many guys stepping into bigger roles.

This emphasis on pushing tempo that started last year has been a very pleasant improvement over previous year. We used to say Billy Eugene was stuck in his ways but the guy keeps finding ways to say hold my beer.

Sad to read this - - -this morning that three Virginia football players and tw0 other students had been shot. The three football players were all killed - the two other students were being treated at the hospital. Happened around 10:30 last night in a parking garage I think it said.

They have the suspect caught it was a former football player from the Virginia team that was a freshman back in 2018. - Just a sad tragedy , sending prayers to all the families of the victims involved

I've been pleasantly surprised by Udeh going to be fun to watch him progress, It's nice to have depth at the five , then IF Udeh is in foul trouble even at this point I think I would as at this point and time rather put Zuby in to relieve Udeh over Zach. - Yes Zach is mobile and can stretch the floor BUT the energy/hustle Zuby brings is awesome I think they said he has played 10 minutes so far this season and in those ten minutes he has 10 rebounds.

Kevin is very disruptive on the defensive end and can and hs sparked the team when needed.- These guys are pretty nasty defensively when they turn it up and by the middle of the year or towards the end - - -LOOK OUT they will be down right ugly. - In my eyes they might be by years end be the best team ever Coach has had defensively.
