I would think your right about having a shot at him. I checked it out a bit and Location is obviously is not a factor if you look at the remaining 5. If it was and he was wanting to stay close to home -- he had offers from Georgia & Georgia State.

Well Governor Kelly has ordered a mandatory wearing face masks in public effective July 3rd. She is still leaving it to the counties if they make less restrictive , as she waits approval. Yet with several other counties already implanting mandatory face masks they feel this will be approved.
People WEAR THE DAM MASK - -sure it's not comfortable , kind of a pain in the ass But it's either wear the mask now for the little bit when your in public OR worse things coming later. We HAVE JUST GOT to do wha twe can to try to keep from spreading this stuff

You have those with that , then you have the one's that plain and simple don't give a dam. If it's an incovience to them- - they are not doing it , acting like they are above getting or /spreading the virus.
Now as a Nation we have 40,000 new cases for ONE day and spiking. - we are seeing Hospitalizations on the increase again some close to reaching capacity. - -Hell we are seeing states starting to re-enforce restrictions on like number of people in public places , some business shutting back down. States such as Utah , North Carolina , South Carolina , Texas , West Virginia , Florida , California , Arizona , Nevada , Oklahoma all either doing on re-opening restrictions and NOW California has finally ordered once again - - Stay at Home orders
Here in Kansa examples : Lyon County - - -where several have quite possibly been exposed with a girls 5th & 6th Basketball tourney from Parkville Missouri. -- You have 4 outbreaks in Riley Co they say , 30 new cases since Wensday that's tied to the Aggieville business district , 2 other Aggieville Business 's & the K-State football team. You have the Hawk here in Lawrence that has been connected to new positive cases , You have the Wild Horse that they have positive cases and quite possible exposures to the virus , you have 3 cases from a Basketball MAYB tourney in Wichita , with many exposures.
Then you have THIS : you have this idiot who was the co-founder of Re-Open Maryland who organized rallies to pressure Governor Hogan to life the stay at home in Maryland - - he is a 53 year old diabetic and he says " Here I am months not wearing a mask at rallies , and church's and it's SO FUNNY ( Really ? - this Virus is Funny to you ? ) how capricious this thing is.
Here is the kicker though for me with this moron : this guys name is Tim Waters and I Quote " He DOESN'T PLAN TO PROVIDE Health officials with the people he has had close contact with for the contact tracing program "

Couldn't agree more. 1st , I've said this before & I'll say it again. I fully get that we needed to get the economy re-opened quickly , but WHY could people not follow restrictions ? Sadly a lot of people once their State started to re-open just went full bore and threw all caution to the side. Some just to busy so they thought to be bothered with a mask.
Others just flat ass don't give a dam thinking that the mask was a nuisance crimped their style or just thought that they were immune to contracting the Corona. Now just got through reading that where the Virus has came back/now spiking , the economy in this states are once again weakening /
Like you say I think until we get a vaccine , this is a problem that we are going to CONTINUE to have issues with , sadly a lot of this could of been avoided if people would of used a little more caution, Still you have people like the Governor of Florida STILL refusing to put a mandatory order for masks even though the state hit a all time high of 5500 cases in one day - complete idiot.
Now hearing the White house say that maybe they didn't take these spikes as seriously as they should have. Didn't know exactly where to post this BUT seeing as how it related to COVID thought well. - - - - The State of Kansas has now recorded it's 1st positive case of the Corona Virus from a High School Football Athlete. - - Positive despite them using all the preventive measures. - - Temp checking , Social distancing , Disinfecting equipment , frequent washing of hands , using sanitizer.
Once it was found out positive the boy and ALL of his teammates were put in quarintee. - -The athlete is from Lost Springs Centre High in Marion County - - - little town , they play 8 man division 2 in football and 1 A in Basketball. - -This is not a good sign , could very easily turn into a cluster , and just solidifies even more the thought that the football Season could in the end end up being Cancelled - - disrupted or what ever - - same goes for the College ranks.
Also the number of Hospitalizations in Sedgwick Co has double with positive new cases and spiking

mercy , I didn't realize , hadn't heard Nino had passed , 67 yrs old - - mercy right there with me. - -He was an absolute stud in High School, thought KU had a star headed their way , just didn't turn out.
Nino to me was just another case where I/others said that Teddy could recruit but couldn't Coach with a dam. - He had several really talented players but we really didn't do a lot with those players , attendance started dropping off and the rest is History.

Just came across , K-state suspending all their workouts as they now have 14 players that have tested positive for the virus , needless to say this virus isn't going any where.
You have Texas with multiple positive cases - - Texas Tech - - Oklahoma State all multiple positive. Heard a leader of the WHO - -saying that yes during Summer cases will decline BUT fully expect another round coming in Sept.

Clemson has 23 players that's tested positive - - Texas has 13 players that tested positive with another 10 in quarantine . Big 12 Comissoner Gowlsby said he is optimistic about the season but also realistic saying there will be a time with ineruption where there will come a time where a team can not handle it.
I just can't believe differently other then I just don't see any way that College sports will make it through like football having to drop a game - - maybe two , some where along the line there IS going to be an ineruption . - -a stoppage of play in some sorts or another. - - at the moment 22 States are recording spikes in the Virus , higher amount of positive cases then from the original outbreak.

Agreed. It's so refreshing to be excited about football recruiting and the direction of the program. Just need that legit QB to really feel like we're turning the corner. Could be Daniels, but jury is still out. I'm not sold on Easters either. Time will tell.
Mercy I hear you on that. -- we need a really good solid commit from a solid QB. - - seems like that is THE PIECE right now that everything - - or a lot hinges on. Feel like that we are really getting there in the D. - -I feel really good about the rest of the recruits yet to commit even this coming year , seems like we are in on some really solid players, you can for sure see the upgrade in talent that this staff has landed or in really good on.
Your seeing where we are making the final cut for a lot of high 3 * that could end up on the 4 * level thing is THIS year we have to produce more W'S on the field -- we are in the ball park with a lot of higher talented kids, they see competitiveness see we are improving might be just enough to get the 4* player to make the plunge in our program. Once one big time stud comes - -then things could really landslide for us make us right there being in the mix for bowls multiple years.
Having said that I'm also realistic I fully understand that we are not going to de throng Oklahoma - - - Texas and such but to at least be in the ball park and no more of these other teams using our games as track meets up and down the field. - -to have a game still be right there in the late 2nd half keeping fans in the stands , to have football BACK AGAIN to have a full stadium again THATS what makes me excited about the future with Les and the boys. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

This IS NOT the end for Coach Self at KU, that's not happening. Sure he will be suspended games more likely then not - -but the end ? - - Hardly. - -Everything I've been hearing is maybe 20 % of the season amounts to about 10 games Townsend more likely then Self , quite possible 1 yr ban from the NCAA is going to be about the jest of it all or a loss of Scholi - -again Self will continue to be here , this isn't going to be the end - -some here may want that to happen But sorry to disappoint
basically like they were saying here in Topeka , the local sports daily talk show. - -Basically the jest of this is that KU is admitting guilt, everyone pretty well knows there were things that were violations But like they said that Coach 's stance is they are trying to end his long outstanding career and that this kind thing goes on just about anywhere and feel like they are trying to come down on Self harder.
Also stating just another statement that KU is NOT going down like a bunch of marsh mellows they are going to make the NCAA look so bad out of this. Also saying that this case with KU could very easily go down as the biggest case ever, even more so then the N Carolina scenario.
