@FarmerJayhawk there have been some really bad spreads thru the first month of play. Cal was favored in that game by 13 I believe, KSU was favored by 18 vs Army. Illinois was 7 points dogs in absolute beat down 63-10 by Indiana. The rankings will be interesting when they come out, Notre Dame finally won a game despite being ranked all season and the previously mentioned Illinois team was ranked number 9. I would be surprised if we don’t see a few votes come our way this week but don’t think we will be ranked yet. I personally like being ranked in the second half of the season rather than the first.

@BShark yes been some good entertainment on there with him. I worry our fans are too cocky with KSU on there. I won’t believe we can actually win against them til the clock is blank and we have more points. Fresno State who he crapped all over went over to Hawaii and won to improve to 4-1. Fresno is a solid program that makes a bowl a high percentage of the time. I’m not saying we beat LSU to open the season but that is turning into a solid win on paper.

@Jhawk69 I believe it releases tomorrow. Interesting that supposedly next weeks game is a sellout yet tonight’s announced attendance was 40k and looked pretty generous.

Nice to put the belt to the ass of a conference opponent. Radio said this is only the 3rd 30 plus point win in conference since 2010. All 3 under LLs leadership. Its nice to dominate and sit down at the end to realize we could’ve played a lot better. We have a special teams unit!!! We have ranked 106th or worse in special teams according to Phil Steele’s system 8 of the last 10 years with 89th being our best. We have a good PK, Punter and two good return men. Nice job by the defense stepping up after missing dozens of tackles in Columbia. My biggest concerns continue to be JDs accuracy and the offensive lines play. If this program wants to take the next step and compete for a conference championship, JD can not miss some the throws he did today as simple as that. The biggest game of the year is always the next game up. Cincinnati to me looks much better than I thought they would be and they will be ready watching us win tonight while they are on a bye week.

@FarmerJayhawk could easily be 31-3 but I’ll take a 17 point half time lead every week from here on. Special Teams maybe the most improved unit on this team.

Ya idk if JD is rusty or what at least he is running well. Nice finish to the half getting 10 quick points. The end of half’s have been trouble.

Boy you have to wonder if seat is starting to heat up on Luke Fickell at Wisconsin. How about Jeff Grimes’s offense not getting in the end zone til 20 seconds to go. Yes @wissox let’s hope we can exercise the Demons tomorrow. Things to consider, Missouri is likely a top 10 team before the season ends and they are better in the trenches than prob everyone in the b12 except maybe Utah. Defensively I don’t feel like we were bad in terms of scheme we just were terrible at making plays on the ball whether it was a missed tip or a miss tackle. I’d love to see the offense get the run game going against WVU to help keep the heat off of JD. JD has to realize it is okay to throw the ball away. The fumble play that lead to a safety just looked like a busted play. Throw it at the RBs feet and live to play another down. Stop trying to do too much, it was catastrophic last season.

I think the whole thing just summarizes the politics in this country hypocrisy. I’ll start off by saying people confuse freedom of speech with freedom of consequences. I can go tell my boss he’s a f***ing idiot and not go to jail. But I likely would be fired. The Charlie Kirk thing has opened a lot of people’s eyes to the dangers of main stream media calling someone on the other side of the political spectrum Hitler and Nazis constantly. I laugh at the people that are so mad at Kimmel being introuble, why no outrage when any espn or abc employee shared right wing propaganda was fired immediately? MSNBC had a guy fired for celebrating his death on the air. It’s absolutely disgusting regardless of how you feel about Charlie Kirk. Whom was famous for debating people peacefully not violence. A lot of democrats have shown the their true colors and it seems to be a portrait of what they claim to hate.

@nuleafjhawk hard to disagree with with assumption that Mahomes has been a little off. But I still think the guys around him are a source of the issue. Tyreek would go get the ball. Look at AJ Browns catch for the eagles Sunday, when was the last time a Chiefs receiver did that?or the catch Smith had for them. The Chiefs receivers don’t go get the ball IMO is some of the issue. I also think the scheme isn’t working anymore. Chiefs run too many rub plays to get open they don’t have any great route runners that can get separation on their own. Some time I think it’s low because it’s the best spot for it not to get picked. Add in the fact the offensive line sucks
