The issue with politics these days is no center. People like me that donât give a rip about politics and KNOW that every last one of the goons are only about personal gain. No one runs for office to help the people IMO. The Trumpsters think everything he does is great and canât be debated. The Democrats thought Obama was a savior and did nothing wrong. Iâm a middle class working American, very very little changed in my life from Bush to Obama to Trump. These people are con artists they will say anything to get elected. Look at the amount of wealth of the Bush family, the Obama family and the Clinton Family. All made millions while in politics, I believe it was Teddy Roosevelt that said âYou canât get rich in politics, unless youâre a crookâ. I see a lot of people getting filthy rich on both sides. Learn to give and take, maybe who you voted for wasnât perfect. We donât have to identify with whom we voted for 4 years.
I personally think Beaty was arguably the worst hire CFB history. Flat out laughable on all front for anyone with a brain. Zenger did all he could to be as much of a failure as sweet Lou. I think Beaty was kinda a conman to honest but he was he here. Pay him and wash our hands with that joke. Having Les be smart in the recruiting game is such a big plus. All Beaty had to do was go hard on HS kids and our numbers would be almost full strength. He didnât and the next guy has to deal with it for at least 2 or 3 years.

@dylans I agree that KU was the best overall and the current format of the tournament means the best team seldom wins IMO. If you want a real champion, make the higher seed host the round of 64 and 32. Then have a reseeded 16 team double elimination tournament with the teams left. The trouble is that would eliminate a fair share of upset and would hurt viewership for non basketball people. We all would still watch and probably be happier with the results. But the random fans that tune in late in the year and just for the tournament wouldnât be watching. I believe the the NCAA menâs basketball tournament to the hardest title to win in all of sports. I agree with @mayjay, we arenât the champions. They havenât voted titles in basketball in over 80 years. People already discount the helms titles and no one would take this seriously. It sucks for all parties involved, we will never know whatâs couldâve happened this season or if we will have a team at this level for a few years.

@BShark I think we will miss Doke the most next season. Heâs such a sit down and shut up player. What I mean by that is when you need a basket after the other team makes a run, he gets a dunk and sets them down. Having a guy that converts over 75% is a huge positive. Iâm not sure if Iâll ever get over him not having another shot at a FF/title this season. He just sent out a snap shooting in an empty McCarthy hall. Hopefully someone is around that he can hang out with.

They released his contract today, 2 years for $50 million. No trade or tag in the contract and all guaranteed. I personally wouldnât have signed him for that. Good for him to get a good deal on his way out.
@BShark I do put a fair amount of blame on the Chinese government for this deal. They couldâve stopped anyone from leaving the country til it blew over. They probably wouldnât have done anything had the doctor they likely killed not spoke up.

Bad time to be in a hospital all together, I will be thinking about you and your friends dad/family.
This will put a fair share strain on several Kansas families. But I do think it is the right move going forward to protect our youth. Itâs gonna get hairy for several small business, which is scary because I work for a small business that employs 17 people. It will be tough for us to survive with no income business wise.

@BShark Has to be something along those lines, you don't see teams that are 23-8 with a good shot at making the NCAA tournament leave in groves like that otherwise. He has a fairly small buyout if he chooses to leave but they'd still owe him millions if he's fired. He really has that place by the balls, he was in the top ten of highest paid coaches in CBB a few years back and I haven't checked it again. But for a guy that lucked out on a walk-on and a couple of underrated recruits he's average. He had a good 5 years in a joke of a conference.
No idea if true, but Iâve read that Italy has high fatality rates because they refuse to treat elders and are letting in take it coarse..... sad if true, but unsure.

This is honestly one of the best teams Self has here. Still baffled that Nova team that was ranked #1 for a month was the 4th 2 seed in our bracket. People were worried about getting jobbed by the committee this season. Heck we get jobbed every season remember UNI was top 25 team the second half of the year but was some how the worst 9 seed to play us in the second round. To be the best you have beat the best, it would nice if the deck wasnât stacked against year after year.

@FarmerJayhawk the trouble is that they are saying that 40% of the population is infected and probably doesnât even know it. Some people are wondering if they did have in January. We had a sickness at work that sounds like Coronavirus and we were all tested for flu, strep and pneumonia but all were negative. But we all were tired and coughing for 3 weeks. Itâs just crazy right now with how little actual info there is.

@dylans that is exactly my point in this whole ordeal. We are gonna keep the athletes most of which are pro safe and celebrities but the average people are supposed to go on as normal with working, etc. I personally wouldâve put it in the players hands. Scan all the teams and coaches selected before they are cleared to play and then play in an empty arena. When look at the stuff that NCAA tournament has been played around, stuff like multiple years of polio outbreaks that killed 10 of thousands of children to teams having several players away fighting in wars. Itâs a little odd at this point but Iâm glad I donât have to make the decision but probably wouldnât have cancelled it.

@dylans I highly doubt there is a mass that big of the people that we lose and obviously hope thatâs not the case. There is just so much stuff out there and most of it is opinionated. I still wondering why we cancelled so much stuff besides people working and groves of folks at Walmart.

@Kubie it would be tough to get, because theyâd have to give it to everyone. Even guys like Bane on a TCU team thatâs season was over regardless. Its unfortunate but I donât see it getting rescheduled unless this blows over by the end of April. Which probably doesnât happen.
