I remember a handful of years ago I was on nights at the drug plant so I stayed up late the day before I had to work all night. So I watch a lot of old games and such on YouTube. I got pissed watching the 91 title game because of bad the officiating favored Dook knowing we lost before turning it on.

@bskeet spot on as I said above KSU is pretty much the same it has been for the last 30 years. They will win the games they should and lose to good teams. They have always been that way. I remember Nebraska teams playing undefeated KSU teams in the 90s and winning by 35-40. Their fan base is half the problem, they want to believe they have a dynasty and are a national power so damn bad.
@rockchalkjayhawk some of the throws could’ve been better for sure but yesterday it was all on Worthy. He isn’t even trying to toe tap or drag the second foot. He is still used to college and it being one foot. But I think he’ll get there sooner rather than later l. That pass yesterday was out by maybe a half inch
@AsadZ ya they were going nuts on the bench waving towels and such. Place was buzzing like it was a playoff game for sure. But it’s not and that wasn’t even close to the chiefs best game but I feel like buffalo couldn’t have played much better.
@drgnslayr for sure being a small 2a school we didn’t have a ton of size. I was/am a shade over 6’1 and played forward a lot because at that size I was still taller than half the other players. We had one 6’5 guy that played center for us and he’s a good dude but one of the most uncoordinated guys I’ve ever met lol. I’d just shot fake and dunk on him in practice a couple of times a week. Probably my biggest game was we played Hutch Trinity every year and they had some good players. There 6’7 center ended going to Pitt state and playing for a few years before he had shoulder issues. I held him 7 points and shut him down the last we played them.
Its funny because I always joke with my son (9) that the only 3 things he can count on in life is death, Taxes and my jump shot. Admittedly I don’t have a great jumper but I was a really good FT shooter and all district defense. My goal was always to make whomever I was guarding cry because they couldn’t do anything. I was probably a lot like KJ to my team, but I could actually rebound lol. I shot 1/3 in my highschool career from 3 point land. The one I hit I got called for a Technical foul, kid guarding me was running his trap all game (while we were winning by 20 mind you). I hit the shot and told him that was the SBC long distance shot of the game.
@mayjay the joke of the day on ESPN radio this morning was the audio from the chiefs drafting Wanya Morris. Everyone is basically saying Morris and Taylor maybe the worst tackles in the NFL right now. Watching some highlights today while I eat lunch, the key was Mahomes was under pressure constantly yesterday. Allen was only touched twice and never sacked. No reason to panic but the chiefs got their butts kick in the trenches.
@drgnslayr I only got to play in high school because I could jump and defend. I led our team in rebounds my junior and senior year being shorter than not only half my teammates but most the guys I went against. KJ has a better shot of being drafted into the NFL than the NBA.
It’s crazy they are calling for his head so hardcore, they are 7-3. He’s no different than Snyder IMO. They will win 5-8 games 9 out of ten years. The cards will fall right and they will win a conference title every now and then.
Good news is there isn’t a ton of better teams to get right against than the panthers
@AsadZ Allen, Burrow and Jackson are just as good as Mahomes maybe even better in the regular season. The trouble is they don’t make plays in the playoffs that win games.

Zero problems with Mahomes play today other than the ill advised pick. I watched Alex Smith ESPN say this has been Mahomes best year when you consider the amount of weapons he has had out. Hes in the top 13 in the NFL in every QB statistical category without a top 50 receiver. Maybe Dhop is top 50 but he’s only been there a few weeks.
Worthy had a great drive last time but he has to work on toe taps. He had plenty of room it make that catch
