Iāll agree Cobee wasnāt smart there but thatās likely the weakest late hit Iāve ever seen. People complaining about the chiefs calls would have an aneurysm if that happened

JDs first big miss hopefully he shakes it off. He has had a good drive or two in most games then one bad play turns into a dozen.

@nuleafjhawk Iāve been sitting here the last two weeks wondering the same thing. What a disaster 1-11 would be with 30 seniors and returning what we did. I could see us having a winless season in a shiny new stadium next year.
I havenāt seen anything on firing LL at this point and it would be silly to do so. Juan is bad comparison Self really had zero other guards to turn to the last few seasons. I got a lot of grief on here for saying we aināt going past the second round or a good team with Juan playing 35 minutes a game and turned out to be a very true statement. Juan statistically isnāt near a top PG here and he will have played an extra year.
@benshawks08 The line has been better than I thought they would be for sure. They have done a solid job, obviously they hav some break downs but they seem to be coming together as unit better than most on the team.
@Jhawk69 sadly thatās what it looks like right now, 30 sensors on this roster. It aināt getting any better in that new stadium next season.

This shows you how much being drafted into a good organization is worth. Darnold, Geno Smith and Baker Mayfield all look like good QBs in a good system.
@bskeet spot on the best coaches adjust to what best fits the players they have. Bill Snyder is undefeated with this group because he would be running the heck out of JD. They had seasons with Klein where the QB was a key player in that he rushing attack and years with guys like Thompson and Waters that they ran a more balanced attack with more passing. We need more roll out plays getting JD away from an inconsistent line, more option plays, better plays to build his confidence and more movement pre snap.
Sitting here this morning and thinkingā¦.Is it too much to ask to enjoy college football for Kansas fans? Iāve watched us get spanked by central Michigan on our own field and Toledo in person, two winless seasons and this season is #1 on worst feelings being a KU football fan. How the heck did we sink so far so fast? Itās just crazy will win another game is pretty the only question not answered at this point.
@FarmerJayhawk it was a big year for this conference and the games have pretty much sucked all around. Regardless of who wins the conference crown. I think the B12 team in the playoffs gets destroyed by 30 points.
@FarmerJayhawk my biggest issue is this team on paper coming in as probably the most talented since 2008 and they may end up winless in conference play thatās just sad man. Devin Neal is going to play in the NFL, Cobee Bryant, Melo Dotson are all probably getting drafted. Jerome Robinson, Cornell Wheeler, Luke Grimm and Lawrence Arnold will have a chance to do the same or at least get camp invites. Gosh I feel so bad for them guys.

@Texas-Hawk-10 I agree to a point but we also have too often on 2nd/3rd down with 2 yards or less to go passed the ball twice. I believe it happened 3 times again today. I think this one was really a team loss. Special teams gave up a score, offense couldnāt score from inside the 6 and the defense gave up huge plays all day long. Iām all in on benching JD
I have to start betting on Kansas to lose tho I doubt we will be favored again this season maybe Houston but I donāt see us making a bowl game after this. You had to beat UNLV and TCU to have a chance.
I believe now we have been outscored 55-17 in the last 5 minutes of halfās. If Iām not mistaken 10 of those 17 points for us were on Lindenwood.
@Texas-Hawk-10 itās both Grimes play calling hasnāt been worth a crap either. Iām just asking to change one of them and see what happens.
The question becomes at what point do we make a change at either QB or OC? Like I said doing the same thing repeatedly while expecting a different result is insanity. We can not win games with the JD and Grimes combo against FBS competition. Itās been proven at this point.
Why are we throwing 5 and 6 yard passes when the line to gain is 8 plus yards on third/fourth down
Defense is more of an issue today skinners drop was massive
