@approxinfinity @FarmerJayhawk Well, I definitely feel better that we offered to match his salary but I don’t blame him. Believe he wants to be a head coach so the next logical step was to a major CFB program. I really really dislike our replacement hire at this point. I believe his win total is 3 vs FBS competition in the last 3 years. It goes back to the be careful what you wish for, for our receivers. I believe both Grimm and Arnold can play at the next level but being on a 2-10 team won’t help them get any looks.

A lot of people are giving the QB a hard time. I actually will defend this guy and I’ll tell you why. Supposedly he was gonna get paid 100-150k, they gave the man 2k and said deal with it. Another coach said redshirt and I’ll get you 200k. Obviously the guy ain’t going pro, if anyone here had a chance to start their adult life with a couple hundred thousand dollars in the bank, they would’ve done it.

Interesting news going around the game Saturday, supposedly Kansas has not sign the contract to lease arrowhead stadium and there is a chance it could get canceled is what I keep hearing. That would be pretty wild but with the way this team has played why wouldn’t everything just fall apart at once

This is exactly my problem with the staff right now or lack of staff. If I’m predicting the outcome of this game I’d say KSU 63-13 right now. It will be a massacre for us

@wissox yes I have lost all faith in LL, the team just doesn’t look well coached at this point. As I’ve said many times was AK running the show? We are so lost into many different areas. I will say most of those areas we lost coaches, the secondary, offensive line, QB and just over all coordinating of the offense looks terrible. Thats why I would’ve fired Jeff Grimes today.

Of course they’re gonna blame the refs with that non call in the end zone like Atlanta didn’t get a ton calls tonight. The last 3 penalties on the chiefs were super weak or flat out wrong. Hope Rice is okay, Mahomes may have tweak his knee on a weird slide there as well

Both roughing the passer calls were a J-O-K-E difference is it kept a Falcons drive going

@nuleafjhawk he ain’t that bad, doesn’t have 9 turnovers in 3.5 games. He’s a lot like Brett Favre to me, he’ll throw some picks but also some pretty crazy TDs. At one point before Favre retired he had the record for the most TD passes and INTs. If JD had a 65% completion percentage and 1 to 1 TD to INT ratio we’d be undefeated.

Mahomes just looks a little off so far this season

That’s the issue it’s looking like the Colorado and BYU games are sure fire loses for us by at least 3 touchdowns.

@Jhawk69 💯 if Bean and AK are still here, we have won every game by double digits. The defense is a working progress and not surprising with losing some of their best players with Miller, Logan and Booker. They lost arguably their best player at every level of the defense.

@approxinfinity I’m not sure but Ballard must look like dog poo in practice if they haven’t let him even try at this point with how JD is playing. David Lawrence said several times on the radio call due the first half while I was driving. JD has zero zip on the long passes they are just hung up for someone to pick it and way too much zip on the underneath stuff.

Just looking at our schedule this morning, I think we win 2 games this season. Houston is our only chance at another victory.

I think we all can agree it was a team effort to lose this one. The offensive play calling has been absolutely garbage for much of the year. The defense couldn’t get stops when it was a must. But as I said the defense is allowed to screw up too with how ungodly bad the offense has been for much of this season. @Texas-Hawk-10 thats a very logical and fair assessment but I agree with @nuleafjhawk this is the worst feeling I have ever had as a ku fan losing by 40 to a more experienced and better team is one thing. Having 30 returning seniors from a 9-4 team up against one of the easiest schedules in CFB. This is unacceptable and changes need to be made

@approxinfinity I’m usually pretty negative I’ll admit but what can we take from this disaster of a season. That we’ll have a new stadium that’s 1/4 full next season.

How mad do we be at the defense when they have played good enough to win every game but the last 2 drives here. Maybe we should just cancel the program and join the big east this absolute embarrassment.
