Personally, I leave Bean in until he's hurt or can't get the job done. We're 7-2. Kind of in a groove. Daniels is an excellent QB when he's healthy. But he hasn't been healthy in a long time and he HAS to be rusty.

@wissox We always suck - every year - until we don't. This is a statement that can be scientifically proved. Sit anywhere in Allen Fieldhouse and look up. You'll see banner after banner after banner that says "We Suck before the season starts".

I used to work with a lady whose son was a 4 year starter for Knight in the mid 80's and played pro basketball internationally after graduation. If you ever wanted to get your a$$ ripped, talk smack about Bobby Knight around her.
She was VERY adamant that he was the best guy ever. She was a tough love advocate and always felt that his love for the players was overshadowed by the public opinion of his detractors.
When Indiana dismissed Knight, her son basically disowned the University. He loved Knight as much as his mom did.

@jayballer67 Ask LL if he thinks he could never win back to back. He won back to back to back NC's in 2009, 2010, 2011. Not the same division, but he had the same obstacles as all the other coaches and teams in that division.
Nobody ever achieved greatness by doubting themselves. I guarantee that nobody on this site ever thought we'd beat OU. Myself included. But I'll bet LL thought we could.

@benshawks08 Right. I wasn't able (thankfully now, I guess) to watch the Texas game, but I was following the score pretty closely on my phone. It went from being very close to a blowout in a very short amount of time.
I think we're close to being a consistent Top 25 team, but we're not quite there. But the progress we've seen with LL in just 3 years has been mind boggling.
I REALLY want us to win, but the realist in me says OU - 58 / KU - 17.

@kjayhawks A healthy Jalon Daniels, yes. But he's missed so much practice and so many games it might not be to our benefit to have him play now.
So, if Daniels was not on the roster and Bean led us to a 5-2 record so far, considering our recent past - would anyone be complaining about Bean? He can get it done.
@wissox we were in Zion the first week of May. Phenomenal! If you have time, the 90-ish mile drive to Bryce Canyon will be a more than worth your while. Just don't hit a deer like we did....

Charger is the name of a horse trained for battle. As in the calvary. Do we really need to glorify these angry, war hungry, bloodthirsty animals by slapping their name across a football jersey? Of course, a charger could also be a plate. Don't even get me started on how we've abused plates over the centuries....
