@nuleafjhawk It looks like the TD was on a 46 run by the QB. That does not bode well.
@kjayhawks I am with you. If the overthrow was occasional I would understand, but repeatedly means to either try someone else with that play or not do that play, esp on a 3rd down with the QB that has shown he cannot connect on it.
I would be surprised if LL would play the hot hand. He will stay with his loyalty to the senior.

Maybe this has been mentioned already, but I am aggravated. Has anyone else noticed that we have a game against BYU and then 2 days later TTech and then have a 2 day turnaround also with Arizona and Houston? Is this typical? I remember we have had quick turnarounds against other highly ranked teams before, such as Houston, but I don’t remember so many in 1 season.
Houston, Iowa State, Texas Tech and BYU all have one 2 day turnaround and Arizona has two that I can tell with my cursory glance at each school’s schedule.
Of the other blue blood’s schedules, Duke has 3 with only 1 against a ranked team. (Louisville),
UNC has 3 against 2 ranked teams (Louisville and Michigan State) and Kentucky has none.
Other recent schools that have been good:
Connecticut has none
Arkansas has none
Florida has none
Alabama has a 1 day turnaround against UNLV after playing Gonzaga. ? tournament in late November.
Ole Miss has none.
Michigan State has 1 2 day turnaround against UNC.
This does not account for any tournament games played except for maybe Alabama.
We have lost Dunnigan.

I was just stating the conjecture of what had happened based upon reading another site’s forum. No offense taken.
The Bigfoot theory just made the most sense to me.
@patoh3 But then again, it could have been that a portal opened up briefly enough to drop the pocketknife by an invisible Bigfoot that saw all the big football players and wondered if they were family.
I had read that it could have been a groundskeeper or one of the workers that may have inadvertently dropped it prior to the game. I had also read that it could have been a trainer’s pocketknife that was used to cut tape and had been accidentally left there. The owner of the pocketknife most likely came forward and that is how it was known that it was not thrown.
We are picked as the 6th best team in the Big XII this year, preseason. It should be interesting to see how that plays out.
