Meyer is calling for it on 247
I agree. Just figured I’d share. That’s it
From Cory Evans today on Rivals
Achiuwa will choose between Kansas, Memphis and North Carolina on Saturday, though Syracuse has gained whispers of late. There is no clear front-runner, though the Jayhawks appear to have the most momentum but the latest talk surrounds Memphis. Kansas could add him alongside Udoka Azubuike and potentially five-star R.J. Hampton, and Bill Self would have another national contending bunch. Memphis could mix and match him with James Wiseman, D.J. Jeffries and Rayjon Tucker. The Tar Heels might need him the most with their hole at combo forward.
This might make a decent thread, hint hint. I saw an unread message from this RJ thread and thought, great new news, but I was wrong.
All of you guys do make great points by the way.
@jayballer73 Same post over and over? Come on man! Haha just messing with ya.
Yeah come on RJ just sign already!
Phew! Ok they’re all gone. If we get commitments the way those posts came threw we’ll be solid
Haha sorry guys horrible reception. My goodness
Any rumors of RJ planning a visit to Tech? He got another prediction for Tech on rivals from a guy named B Soliz. The name means nothing to me but should be noted.
Nothing will surprise me this year.
@FarmerJayhawk
Nice. So you can see the VIP picks? Someone said we reached out to him. Is that true?
Crap! Come on Dotson come back!
@KUSTEVE oh. Why do you say that?
Just like the guy named Goodnews that left kstate.

Well -- what does anyone make out of this if anything? - -Tweet 4 hours ago from Rayjon Tucker. - - tweeted More blessings and opportunity - -then it has a picture of a Boston Celtics basketball court and the Celtics Mascot - I hope it's not what I think - he might be deciding
Maybe it’s about Paul Pierce. Who knows it could be a hint. It could also mean I’m completely over thinking it also
Precious got another prediction for KU on rivals today.
I wonder if precious is going to follow RJ like Hurt did with Tre Jones.
FarmerJayhawk said:
@RockkChalkk Rivals. They have a prediction feature now too
Yup and of course I have both tabs open on my phone that I’m constantly looking at. Wife says I need to take it easy.
Duke. Twice a day for proper dosage
FarmerJayhawk said:
KU is firmly in the lead for Hampton. He’ll announce a decision at the end of the month and hopefully be on campus in June.
It does seem like KU is in the lead but do any of you think that he’s waiting until the 29th to pass to see if Dotson will return and if so commit elsewhere?
Be safe everyone
@Woodrow That’s what I’m thinking too. I’m not saying that that “pick” is legit.
I just looked on rivals.... yes I know it’s not as good as 24/7 CB picks. Any who Bill Hipple picked Tech.
If I did my math and guessing right the last CB changed from Memphis to something other than KU seeing as how we’re still at 43%. Either way we’re up!!
Russ Wood on rivals picked KU for RJ this evening. Does anyone prefer rivals over 24/7 or vis versa? The only difference I can see is the people behind the picks in rivals have a higher percentage. That said I don’t know the credibility of anyone like most of you.
Isaac Simpson from rivals picked Hampton to go to Duke. Is he a legit source?
Agree. I’m just waiting on the whole “in 10 days everything will clear up”
@FarmerJayhawk Haha yes! Add that and the original rules of basketball and it’s a no brainer. All jokes aside I sure hope we land him
@FarmerJayhawk I don’t have the twitter but to those who do, has he tweeted about other visits?
I’m for the most part against OADs but right now I don’t care we need some spark
@nuleafjhawk Yes absolutely! I'm right there with you, but to say Self needs to leave (or at least hint at it) is total BS. If the Big 12 title streak was broken, and/or this not so stellar season happened say 5 years ago, we wouldn't be having this conversation. Instead we would say "14 out of 16 seasons under Self we've won the Big 12"
By the way I'm not at all trying to sound disrespectful to anyone. I'm just stating my opinion.
Self lifetime contract. Last year was rough to say the least, and KU doesn't need fair weathered fans.

I’m ready for some positive sports news out of Kansas/ KC area. Lawrence/KU- fbi bs. Topeka/Washburn - shooting. KC Chiefs - domestic violence galore. Manhattan/KSU - beastiality, Wichita/WSU coaches wife is embarrassing. No where looks great these days my friend.
Wait, what’s going on at kstate?
Any news yet? I thought I understood that this appeal falls under one of two categories. One having a decision in about seven days and the other 14.
Wow. I just read the article and I'm not sure what else to say.
"College sports hits peek shameless"
That little SOB
Just thought of something... What if Stanley changed his commitment date to wait and see if Doke comes back? Yeah I know it’s more likely than not that he’s going to Duke but I can’t help but wonder.

Not surprising
The comments seem to be in-line with what we’re all thinking.
They have 50/50 for Enaruna going to KU on rivals. It was changed today I believe from 100% Creighton
@approxinfinity no it just has to be a NCAA approved agent
When is the deadline to declare and back out to maintain your eligibility? I know it’s on here but I can’t find it. Thanks
@Woodrow my wife is a Nevada fan and made me watch their games. Jordon brown in my opinion is nothing KU should go after for. He’s probably looking at Arkansas anyway.
@jayballer73 there’s an article in rivals that said Stanley will decide on the 17 th and hurt the 19th.
55 63 Texas Tech
When is the deadline to decide whether a player can declare or return?
@Gorilla72 yup it might be a good thing. I know a few people mentioned it but maybe recruiting too 10 players is a bad thing. They’ll most likely be gone the following year anyways.
I’m just nervous about UCLA getting Rick Barnes (which sounds very likely) and then swooping I’m on Stanley.
Every year there’s something to worry about during the off-season and Self finds a way. This year was just a perfect storm of unfortunate events happening at once. It’s certainly not the beginning of the end by any means.

Here’s a link that’s a few days old and I’m sure it’s old news for you guys, but it’s about Chalmers and potential future recruitment and transfers interested in KU.
It’s funny how new recruits seem to be scared away from SDSs allegations but not when it comes to Duke
@FarmerJayhawk yeah he’s picking Stanley to choose KU. I’m sure you knew that already though
Same with Russ Wood and Cory Evans from rivals.com. Whoever they are
With kj leaving it’ll make room for hurt. Of course I wish kj the best.
@Woodrow just like you said about Stanley’s recruitment being weird on why he would choose UCLA even though they don’t have a coach.
Here’s a scenario I would see happening with how the players are transferring more and more. What if UCLA doesn’t have a coach and he commits to KU and takes a scholarship. Then, UCLA gets a decent enough coach and Stanley wants to transfer but after we scare off other guards who won’t get playing time with him here.
Regardless we need him. He’ll be at minimum a 3 year player
