Apparently he who must not be named is with us in spirit.
What does “no kappppp” mean? Sorry dumb question I know

I'm sure we could go through old posts from last spring about us gushing over Wilson at the time.
While we’re at it we should look at our old posts about Hurt and Stanley.
I remember my first post here back in April and it said “Every year we have something to worry about and Self some how pulls it off.”
Bill... buddy.... hats off to you my friend!
@BeddieKU23 you nearly gave me a heart attack when I read your new thread and then it got deleted.
@FarmerJayhawk What happened?

If Jalen Wilson pops for KU today, KU will have the 15th ranked class in the Country.
This will be tops in the Big-12 narrowly beating Texas Tech & Texas.
Not a bad finish after what has happened.
I did that calculation the other day too. Wilson is not only important for a great athlete in the roster but more importantly he makes KU first in the big 12 and will show future recruits that KU is in fact not on a downward trend.
@BShark I’ll take a Sam Adams please
Yeah Big Dave would be my other guess too. If Doke has a jump shot now then he’d be in the running too. Man oh man I’m ready for Duke!
Ochai will be, IMO, the most improved player from last year.
Ok great. I’m nervous and getting antsy I suppose. Thanks @BShark and @FarmerJayhawk.
On rivals Corey Evans picked KU yesterday. If he’s on his streak still that means it’s anything but KU.
And Russ wood picked KU today also.
Any word on what Slater is picking?
@FarmerJayhawk Do you think he has potential to be Svi like his jr/sr years?
If we land Wilson on Wednesday we all owe Spring Bill a beer.
Bossi picked KU for Jalen Wilson today on rivals
I wish we could play Nevada. Then my wife would see what a real basketball team looks like. Haha I hope she doesn’t see this!
@Crimsonorblue22 oh ok. Just making sure we didn’t get the middle finger from another guy. Thanks

I gave up. I can't believe that one kid played us. What a jerk! Everyone thinks it's ok. (Twitter) karmas's a 🧟♀️
You’re talking about RJ here right?

If Q had demanded to play pg, wouldn't he have the same opportunity with us that he would've had anywhere else in his junior year after DD left? I wonder if Q's drama is why DD waited so long to announce... maybe there was some friction there...maybe DD didn't like Q saying the line about only seeing half his game...hmmmm....vewwy interesting...
This is spot on, IMO. Grimes won't use all 4 years of eligibility so does he care so much about having the spot light in 2 years at another program vrs. KU. At least at KU he would have more in game experience as opposed to just practice experience. Just weird.
Also, KUSTEVE your signatures, or whatever they're called, crack me up!

@jayballer73 Bill Self is down in Texas right now. Jalen Wilson lives in Texas. :thinking:
Self is probably putting RJ’s dad in pile driver would be my guess.
@BeddieKU23 I read that completely wrong, I appologize!
Yeah it seems that Cory, as of lately, seems to just pull words out of his you know what just to feel important and all knowing.
I just get all excited when I read anything KU.
@BeddieKU23 yeah I noticed that his picks for KU have all been wrong lately. Don’t shoot the messenger I just thought I’d share. .
Corey Evans response to a question regarding SDSs eligibility on rivals
Silvio De Sousa's return does little to impact Kansas' pursuit of Jalen Wilson. The Jayhawks had a major hole to fill at the power forward spot which only could have been filled by De Sousa due to the limited amount of college-ready big men available this spring. They will continue to pursue N’Faly Dante, though, as he could potentially reclassify into the 2019 class, but he is no longer a must-have prospect for Kansas thanks to De Sousa’s return.
Regarding Wilson, the small forward position remains a major need for Kansas. Missing on Precious Achiuwa really hurt the Jayhawks, and Wilson is intrigued by the opportunities available at his position in Lawrence. He visits KU this week and is expected to visit North Carolina in the coming days. While others such as Florida, Michigan and Oklahoma State remain involved, the best bet is that he will not get past mid-June without giving his verbal commitment which will likely be celebrated by the Jayhawks.
Prayers going out to my fellow jayhawkers

By chance did anyone else wake up their significant other with a loud MFer! This morning?
And here I thought I was the only one.
Crap like this is what's going to burn Self out and go coach in the NBA.
Grimes just posted on Snapchat a picture of ASU stadium. Not sure what he meant by that
This is a disappointment but I think we dodged a bullet just like we did with Precious. There was a lot of time from now until November to wreck a Dodge Charger.
Time to regroup once again and nudge Kyree Walker to reclassify.
Moving on
I thought someone on here said that Self was in Australia Friday. The same day as SDSs verdict came in and the same day RJ tweeted his commitment date. Maybe UA and Addidas we’re working something out. Or I’m over thinking as usual
My god... I got goosebumps the size of mountains when I read that! Rock Chalk!
Only if they sent to official appeal in sooner then we wouldn’t be counting down the days until the 29th. In theory anyways
@jayballer73 I was going to say the same thing but you beat me to it. I want to say KU was his 2nd choice behind Michigan
I just rewatched the Wilson interview again and I noticed that at the very end he was asked if RJ will accompany him during his visit to Lawrence. He said no, but I know someone on here (before the interview) said he was. Now why would he deny that? Out of respect for other programs?
Very nice!!!! I can’t help but comment that one play looked better than anything Grimes did all year.
Yeah no kidding. Looking at the excitement on Wilson’s face when he was talking KU during his interview the other day makes me feel KU is in a good spot. Of course that was before the hire happened.
Corey Evans reply to a question about Michigan’s new hire regaining J Wilson’s commitment. Found on rivals
Kansas is the strong leader for former Michigan recruit Jalen Wilson and if he were to not commit to either the Jayhawks or North Carolina, it would come as a giant surprise. Wilson will definitely keep Michigan atop of his list and if it is Juwan Howard, who boasts plenty of NBA background, the interest level would be there. However, the timing of his hiring could put the Wolverines behind the eight ball even further.
Now, if Howard were to keep select members from the former staff in Ann Arbor, it could help in the relationship building process with Wilson. He is intrigued by the small forward opening at Kansas which is why he swiftly set a visit up to see the Big 12 program for May 30. North Carolina might also snag a visit date, but Michigan is playing catch-up now and will do as such the longer the coaching search continues in Ann Arbor.
@Woodrow Brian Snow and Josh Gershon
J Wilson got 2 CBs changing their vote from Michigan to undecided today
@jayballer73 Man you’re going all in. Haha. Hampton better not be scared by Grimes. If he is worried about PT or position competition at a college level then what’s it going to be like for him in the NBA
I think one of the problems is the high school ranking system. There’s probably 75 kids that can make it to the top 50, or at least have a solid argument on why they should. The ranking system is somewhat flawed and builds too much ego in these players, along side their parents, and get unrealistic expectations for how long they should stay in college by their ranking coming out of high school.
Dain Ervin picked KU for J Wilson on 247. We’re now at 39%! Keep em coming
Bryan Moss, publisher of TigerSportsReport.com picked KU for RJ today on rivals.
@KUSTEVE Man. What a stud.
@Wifflehead Or vise versa. Either way it’s a good “sign” pun intended
@approxinfinity Thanks!

Ah, but that FF banner coming down and sitting out the tourney may be the next shoe to drop on the SDS affair. Unfair?
If this was Duke or UNC we all would say “feed them to the lions.”
Now do I say that because I hate those schools or that I like KU?
Just looked on the 247 site and Michigan’s recruiting rank went from 51 to 116. That’s got to suck for them.
RJ has another prediction for KU today from Andrew Slater on 247. We’re now at 81%.
No matter what the answer is, I sure am glad that we are looking better than we all thought we would last month. There is still holes to fill but at least they're not craters.
Memphis will have the best team to ever win the NIT. Good for them.
