GETTING TOO OLD FOR THIS CRAP
Crap FTs
JJ needs to take the ball
JJ STUD
@Crimsonorblue22 Pretty much...nothing surprises me anymore against KU
@KirkIsMyHinrich That's the game plan. The B12 doesn't want KU to win B12 this year folks. Don't you get it? They want BU or WVU. They want a Cinderella in the dance.
Niem Stevens avg 6.4 pts in B12...has 22 pts today and 9 RBs? LOL
Typical against KU
We play hard and beat KU all over the court...AGAIN... - Weber

I found it and listened to it. I'm not sure, but it sounded odd. It's a little weird how he brings up LL. "...it reminded him of LL." He mentioned a "mack truck." I think it was a compliment to Landen's experience and smarts on the court. It does appear he is comparing to Lattin's falling to Landen maybe. Then he mentions Konate pushing Lattin, which might be a reference to Konate's size. Who knows? I've lost all bball respect for Fran.
Historical comments after KU wins in Octagon of Stink...still holds true today after the execution of KSuck.
(
A little convo between Self, Zenger, and of course Bruce "Liberace" Weber.
Warden Hal Moore - Bill Self
Brutus "Brutal" Howell - Dave Beaty
Percy Wetmore - Bruce "Liberace" Weber
Paul Edgecomb - Shane Zenger
Edward Delacroix - KSuck bball team
no MALICE...well, maybe a little after the F-KU chants.
Good win and good night
Ok, what lame excuse will the media and KSuck use this time? The whole game pretty much went their way. They blew it and they suck. Liberace can't coach any better than he can play the piano.
What a minute...Graham traveled on the FT line. Damn refs
KSuck can't hit the broad side of their own barn when it counts
Dang KSUCK...foulfoulfoulfoulfoulfoul...this is all they know to do
Mason down with the flu?
Take care of the ball and get the ball to the FT shooters...Graham
Game...We OWN KSuck
foul with 30 secs? Come on Graham...keep the clock rolling
Fran homer for every team KU plays against...he's trash
Wade for 3? Someone needs to get in his jock strap and lock him down
Milk the clock and attack the dang rim
Purple hack attack
Dang how many fouls on hacky Iwundu?
Milk the clock
Svi is ICE
What is up with the stupid 3s....STOP DRIVE AND ATTACK
Iwundu winning this game for KSuck
I'm still scratching my head after blowing a 14 pt lead in AFH.
KU plays soft and ISU comes shooting 3s like their life depended on them. It was a disastrous ending.
I will bet this game will be ISU's best game for the rest of the season. No way they shoot like this again on the road. The trey will be their down fall on a night when they could've beaten an NBA team. No way do they get lightening in a bottle again. I said this after the IU loss too. Look where IU is right now.
KU better let this lousy home loss go and use it as a painful reminder they now have to start a new streak. The pressure is off and they can play loose. KSU will be shooting for their throats too. KU better be ready for a blood bath in the barnyard.
@JayHawkFanToo Maybe. I know he returns and plays in scrimmages at KU against current players. He could pull a Jerod Haase and help Roy Williams for a time. I think he has a fair relationship with Self and KU that he might consider coaching. He may go back to Iowa and join LaFrentz and buy up the other half of the state. We all know Dick Vitale had a man crush on him too. If anything, he stays in OKC and helps coach up the Thunder bigs.
@JayHawkFanToo Steven Adams and Ennis Kanter are both Nick Collison's mentorship. Those two guys have come on strong under Collison's big man coaching.
@BigBad What player/s are really punished at any program? I think KU should handle this according to what they believe to be fair. These kids have a lot of pressure to play at a high profile program.
I would never assume to prescribe a soft punishment. My point is, I hope the punishment fits the behavior. There can be a lot of different levels of punishment. Also, when a program like Dook gives a player a "pass" by allowing him to play, what's that say? He even made the same poor choice 2-3 times on national t.v.
KU sets a standard that other programs play below? But whatever happens, it won't be fair to the team at all.
I know a lot of people that make some dumb choices in life at a young age, and they got second chances. They even went to court after some pretty stupid behavior that could've taken a life. In fact, I know a personal matter where a young ball player was caught and taken before a judge, only to be bailed out by a high ranking law enforcement officer. He gave a young kid that made a pretty dumb decision and gave him a chance to prove himself. That young player grew up, and went on to live a very highly productive and rewarding life.
@drgnslayr Now that's funny. Chip off the old block?
I have it on good authority that Trae Young will be a Crimson and Blue bonafides Jayhawk on February 16.
247Sports reports Young is between Kansas and Oklahoma. The 18-year-old is from Norman, Oklahoma so if he chooses to attend a different Big 12 school other than Oklahoma, he wonβt remain too popular among the locals.
(http://www.fanragsports.com/news/five-star-recruit-trae-young-announce-commitment-feb-16/) β
This is an example of the nasty pressure they put on these kids. Xavier Henry was on his way to Memphis and then ended at KU. He didn't get much backlash from the local Okies. In fact, most Sooners don't really care much for the bball program. They are so full of pigskin, they oink.

Rayford Young wants his son to have a winning college experience. OU does not have a winning bball program. Also, the distractions are just that at this point. His mother will entrust him to Bill Self and trust Trae as well. He's a big boy and it's time he steps out of the Sooner state and into the halls of greatness at KU. He wants to be a part of history. His announcement will be KU. If not? Oh well, he just made a choice that will impact his college bball career. All he has to do is look at Mason and that should help him make a decision.
What's happening at KU is reality and not covered up. Rayford and his mom knows more than anyone what happens at ALL these schools. He's going to get exposed to all kinds of crap. This is where he grows into a young man and learns life. He's a good kid, he'll make a great choice.
It's a great ride Jayhawks, let's enjoy. Let's have some fun.
This is the just the beginning. This is the least they could do right now. Mason and Jackson will only get better.
They should jump up a few if and when KU reaches #13. If they reach FF, their stock will definitely increase to top 5. I could see JJ at #1 or #2 in draft and Mason a close #5 or #6 ish.
We shall see and it will be fun to watch.
@jayballer54 OK we hear you LOUD AND CLEAR...We all support that same team and hope for the best. Calm down, ChiveOn, and Chill Out my Crimson and Blue friend. It's gonna be all right. We all want the best, what's right, and just. We all understand your frustration. No need going psycho on your fellow JHawks.

This is all in good humor and fun. As JayBate would say, all humor and no malice.
Witch hunt, bullshit, and all around crazy. Don't be fooled. It's obvious what's happening. First Bragg, then Vick, and NOW JJ? PLEASE and give me a break.
Let's not feed the monster anymore than has been fed. Let's let this die a slow death. We all know one of the top recruits in the nation, would NOT throw his NBA career or draft status away on something so scummy as this. He is too far removed from this and IF, IF, IF, he did have anything remotely to do with this, he was simply standing by and maybe trying to keep his teammate from this very trashy tabloid mess. My guess it's trumped and the scum that cooked this mess is not only dealing Vick, but they've raised the stakes and are now dealing Jackson into the whole mess. Their agenda is obvious. Let's let Self and Co take care of this trash. It will be taken out and disposed of properly.
@KansasComet Call me paranoid or maybe a conspiracy theorist, or maybe I just like protests. I will say there seems to be a strange (choosing word carefully) problem, issue, bias, etc...you name it, against KU every year they make a run. It appears someone is deliberating trying to play games with KU bball at some very personal and NCAA levels (officials).
But what do I know. I'm just another butt sore fan, hehehe.
Bogus...nothing here to see folks.
Bragg, Vick, and now trying implicating a top recruit? It's pretty clear what's happening.
Let's play some ball and bring home #13.
I say let the kids play and finish the year. Then make them do community service during the Summer. Assess the level of the behavior, and apply the punishment the following season by missing pre-con, or the first few games of conference schedule. But don't punish them in the current season. You not only punish them, but the entire team. It's not fair to the team.
Put Bragg on a tour of Kansas schools to tell his story and how terrible it was to mix drugs, school, and sports. Then have Vick go to anger management class and do some comm service by speaking to a number of domestic violence groups to discourage men from hitting women.
Easy answer...it's KU
I actually see refs helping other teams in many cases. But overall, anytime KU loses, it's not the refs. Most, if not all the time, KU deserves to lose.
I will argue against WVU's full-court foul. That's right it's not a press, it's a FOUL FEST. The refs will never call all their fouls for fear of overplaying the foul stats against WVU. I've said it on other posts, but Huggy will press the hell out of teams, and he even admitted, "the refs will not call every foul." He's right. But he's also wrong. His style is not good nor is it helpful to the game or his players. In the end, he's the coach and if he wants full-court FOUL, so be it.
Oh they're good, they're so good they make good teams look, not good
Ok, they're good. But we're undefeated against them...so what's that make KU? We make good teams look better? Maybe?

@kjayhawks Funny but disturbing and a bit creepy
@approxinfinity I would classify SF as backcourt in most cases. But...he is a 3-4 type player. But with BU's size inside, he would/should be in the backcourt in my book at BU.
I would need more context of the comment. But who knows, the media and analysts say the dumbest things.
@Blown BMac was projected until the little qualifier issue with Traylor. So, technically, he is/was OAD. Traylor is my fav all time util man. He had heart and gave his all.
Selby, BMac, and Embiid
@mayjay I do like Chip. He and Joanna are the best thing about BU.
@KUSTEVE Dare I say it? The best backcourt in the nation?
Once again the guys have that will to win attitude.
LOVE IT
