Yes!! Except for the misplayed ball they overwhelmed Cal Baptist. Enthusiastic crowd out at Rock Chalk Park. We don't play again until the 20th, either Louisville or Kentucky...the NCAA likes enticing matchups even in soccer. Unfortunately for the locals that round is in Durham, then it says 'campus sites' for the next round. If the seeds hold we should be favorites against either. Then maybe a 3rd round match with #1 ND...just down the road in South Bend? Fingers crossed!

@FarmerJayhawk Man I was watching him play his first game at DePaul, me and about 100 other people were actually there and he mysteriously left the game and never came back. Since that game I've had two different cancers and organs removed, become a father in law, had 2 grand children, ran a halfmarathon, attended an elite 8 game that KU played in and won and took up a whole new sport called disc golf! That's been a long time!

TTech not shooting many FT's but a strange flagrant call on Illinois gave them a chance but they missed the 3. Could have had a 5 point play to tie.
Some good matchups tonight. Michigan almost gets upset by Wake Forest. Illinois small lead over TTech. It's wrapping up on FS1. 5 minutes to go. Creighton-Gonzaga playing. Louisville beats Kentucky, a result that looks good for us. BYU is only up 1 on Delaware with 10 minutes left.

This has been a really nice defensive effort tonight.
Great night for northern lights even as far south as Chicago. I saw northern lights from the Campanile once while I was a KU student. That was amazing to see that night.

@drgnslayr @BShark I couldn't watch but listened to the first half. Even though I couldn't see everytime his name was uttered nothing happened. I remember thinking this dude has to be better than this.
I should say this. He and Jamari hung around Lawrence. Kudos to them in this day of the grass is always greener. We should honor them for their loyalty but i seriously doubt either will go down in KU lore.
