@Jethro I did the same thing too. An all important church softball game to boot. Scored 5 in bottom of 7 to win, jumped to high five a friend next thing I knew I was laying on the ground screaming. My friend kept yelling at me "are you serious?" I answered yes every time but he still didn't believe me! When he saw the bottom half of my leg perpendicular to my top half he believed me.

Not royals but the star reliever for the mets Edwin Diaz, 20 million contract this year, injured himself in a postgame celebration in the WBC. May be an ACL. Awful scene after the game. His brother is a teammate and he was just bawling on the field.
@KirkIsMyHinrich I was paying attention to the bubble this year for the first time ever. Nevada and NCState were two teams that stuck out to me as not impressive resume wise.
Looks like I was right about Nevada being a fraudulant pick. Some worthier team missed the tournament because of them.

Kansas winning in both of mine. One bracket I just choose who I'd like to win, so I've got Furman getting to the sweet 16 since I know a kid that plays on their team. KU over Purdue in my more serious bracket and KU over Marquette in my who I'd like to win bracket. I've got Wiscy in my NIT bracket (:

@kuballin10 Maybe some read all comments, I don't. I open it up and see 'Juan off the bench' and well you can see why a lot of us commented like we did. I have no clue who kendric davis is anyways, so even scrolling up as you suggested is meaningless to me.

@BeddieKU23 It's interesting to speculate. As much as I rip on the SEC, we obviously struggled with Tenny and a road match at Arkansas would be tough. I think Bruce Pearl would coach his heart out trying to beat us, and so I'm thinking we don't run the table there. There's one or two stumbles in the ACC and maybe one in the PACMan conference. Purdue would give us problems because of their center.
@Jethro Yeah the league was down some, but some might say the #12 team in the league lost by 1 on a controversial call to the defending national champ! So maybe KU wouldn't have gone undefeated in the 10.
@Texas-Hawk-10 I learned my lesson when I decided to look up Northern Iowa's schedule and decided there's no way in Ache EEEE double hockeysticks we're going to lose to that team! I remember thinking they were way overseeded to be an 8. I learned my lesson.

I don't get the UConn love. I assume it's because ESPN is right down the street. They went undefeated in the non-conference, but they only beat two teams that made the NCAA tournament in non-conference and only have 6 wins over tournament teams total and were 6-6 overall against tournament teams. That's not the hallmark of a great team. Not having a legit PG is their downfall and that's being ignored by a lot of people. I'm not even convinced UConn makes the Sweet 16 as they have to start against Rick Pitino who is still one of two active coaches with multiple national titles and he has time to prepare a game plan against UConn. Iona is going to give UConn all kinds of problems. UConn will probably get St. Mary's in the round of 32 and that's a team that can beat UConn as well as Logan Johnson and Kyle Bowen will cause UConn's backcourt issues.
I just looked at UConn's schedule and they've got some nice wins in there, ISU on Nov. 27 which I assume was some island tournament or something, Marquette (whom Wisconsin also beat in Milwaukee), and most impressively Bama. Hard to figure out how to judge thanksgiving vacation tournament wins of which Bama is one as well. But they also lost to Seton Hall whom we destroyed.
After a murders row (sarcasm font) of 6 opponents in the 2022 (upset induced I understand), we have little room to complain about the west. We also had 7 losses, a mindblowing number of losses for a #1 seed in my opinion. I get the quad 1 wins and all that. We still lost 7 times.

@benshawks08 But they did put NCState with 1 quad 1 win in the the tournament. Wisconsin doesn't deserve to play in the tournament until you look at the other teams that don't deserve it but are playing anyways. Nevada, 4th in the mountain west and 4 of last 6 losses. Okie State should be playing too.
It's rare I'm trying to make the case for one of my teams to make it but strange logic at work putting some of these teams in there.
Illinois a potential 2nd round matchup scares me a bit.

I think that list doesn't include anyone past 2012 it looks like. I got 14 of 25.
