The three new coaches in the Big 12 have shown that they want to be players in recruiting and with their coaching talent, this is going to be a balanced powerful league. OU took one down year and will have a very good team. Then you add Trae Young to the mix and BAM!
With a few exceptions, I'm very proud of the Big 12 this year.
Does anyone remember when KK tried to get Roy fired for the Color Guard incident. He didn't back off until the commander of the Guard apologized for their screw up. I think he's afraid that KSU is going the way of Missouri. Bruce will probably be back next year. Right now, it would be a mistake to find a better coach that would want to start over at this late date. We've seen that Josh has a fire to win. All of the best players do. Frank has it, but Frank is a Senior and a father and Josh is a Freshman that could use another year of guidance from Coach. I remember Frank as a Junior having to be held back from the ref after being called on a non-foul against Buddy last year. These are kids living in the mansion and worshiped by a flock of fans that, according to a survey, when asked why they came to KU, the answer was - Jayhawk Basketball. It is very evident that each punished player has endured individual shame for their transgression. Heaping pious outrage does nothing but fuel responsive outrage. I remember when Morningstar was suspended for an entire semester for a DUI and KK thought it wasn't fair that his friend got one after a wedding. People make mistakes and there are punishments. None of this would be news without notoriety. Josh knows he cost his team an embarrassing loss. He is paying for his transgressions. Finally, remember his broadcast where he told us that the kid that suckered Jamari from behind and also yelled to Bill Self "I hope you die" was a wonderful boy that was best friends with his daughter.

I remember Lucas with a bad attitude and posture during the Korean Trip. It wasn't until Senior night that he mentioned that Self was going to call his mom and tell her he won't be back for a while because he was going to have to swim home.

Kansas City welcomes the Hawkeyes and their money like they did back in the day when the FFA had their week long convention. All the hotels and restaurants root for an ISU/KU final. About 5 years ago, I went to a casino with friends after ISU had advanced to the Finals. A cheerleader who still had her uniform on won a $50,000 jackpot on a slot machine. She jumped higher than any cheerleader I'd ever seen.
They have a banquet where they whine and dine. There will be Whine, Women, and Song.
@Bwag I rewatched the play where the guy he guarded knocked the ball out of bounds. Frank took an inadvertent knee to the groin. The other bending over was more of a stretching exercise where immediately afterward he beat everyone downcourt on a fast break to score.

@JayHawkFanToo I agree and I also think Bill Self should be coach of the year.
Brad Underwood who would have taken any phone call from KSU to be their coach, with every wildcat praying that Bruce would be fired, did not receive that call. Tomorrow, Iba Arena will be rocking like it was in the days of Eddie Sutton to watch a team that has been turned around in the middle of the season. OSU has been raised from the dead after six straight losses at the beginning of conference play. They lost to Iowa State in their last game. But with our record in Iba Arena and the fan base that has returned to root for a winning team, this will be a tough win for the Jayhawks that have everything seemingly sewed up.
@wissox So what is the answer? Should KU join another conference? Is that the problem? I've tried not to show my happiness with having a coach like Self. I've tried to ignore the Conference streaks. I've tried to be negative about our chances. @elpoyo needs to tell us what we need to do to win. We know our problems, what are the solutions, If I agree that the Big 12 sucks, will we win?

Odds are that at least 3 of the #1 seeds will lose in the Tournament, maybe all four. I'm sure there are @elpoyo's on each of the fan sites to let the other's know what homer's they are.
@BeddieKU23 Morris v Graham was my tossup. I'm pretty sure the AP and the others will pick Morris. Or they might have Morris in place of Evans. Lucas was all-conference last year, will he move up the chain this year? Morris has better stats, but Graham plays in the same backcourt with Frank. If Devonte is the only guard on KU, His numbers would surpass Morris except for TO ratio, which I admit certainly spotlight's Morris.
