Is this a record for airball chants RE Diarra?
We were bound to miss some shots eventually. Just padding rebound stats it's okay guys.
There are rumblings Diarra is going euro-pro after this year fwiw. Maybe he is trying to showcase lol.

Diarra lmao
I mean...I will welcome looks like that from KSU.
Does MYWEEN think he is an allstar or something?
Had not scored in over 3 minutes and it was still a 13 point game before that.
@FarmerJayhawk Omegalul

Every lineup is odd sans Doke
Eh, Dave at the 5 with 4 of Dot, Garrett, Moss, Braun, Agbaji is probably fine. But Doke is definitely our best big.

@BShark was gonna say odd line up here
Yeah, Bill knows he can in this game. KSUMKC is yikes bad.

Slop minutes
I'm sure if it ever gets close again Bill will play real line-ups, probably.
Even when KU goes dry a bit on offense, KSU still can't score.

Just can't get cocky. Expect one or two runs from the Kitties.
Love the D though.
I, uh...KSUMKC doesn't exactly have offensive spurtability. The WVU game was a huge outlier.
I'm pretty good with KSU bigs taking long threes.
Braun with the theft.
FarmerJayhawk said:
Braun.
Stealing this kid out from under Bruce was a great decision.
Dotson and Diarra should be friends, both turnover machines.
Imagine not starting your best line-up.
FarmerJayhawk said:
Taking the Cats at -16.5. Would love to disembowel them like we used to but this team probably wonβt score enough.
Yeah I think KU wins but I'm not confident in their ability to blow out anyone in this conference due to the stingy defenses and KU not being great on offense.
@rockchalkwyo Thanks. This one is in honor of @KUSTEVE
We good.
Insane that Bieniemy isn't going to get a HC job. Great for the Chiefs though.
Tebow and the convicts.
@Gorilla72 Yeah no problem. I was just stunned by that possibility based on what he looked like in HS so I had to check.

So Chandler Lawson is starting for Oregon and averaging 18 pts per game. π€
Do you mean 18 minutes a game?

Averaging 5 pts a game.

It would have been interesting to see where he might be in his development without the injury.
Can he help this team at this point? I'm struggling to see where both from a chemistry and performance standpoint. We'll have to see where they go with this one..
Well Enaruna has become unplayable for Bill and while Jalen didn't look the best early if he is going to be played at the 4, guarding a wing or even a post player and can help space the floor that is at least intriguing.
Well, this is better than Self being a complete idiot. At least he knows. Maybe this is an ego massaging thing. We NEED Dave next year, he will be our starting 5.
I've got an AT&T subsidiary that IS working if that helps as a data point.
The site has worked on my phone via data and work off fwiw.
, just signed a transfer big from UTEP and are hot and heavy after another PG from Nebraska. Looks like Bruce is going to mush some players again.
@dylans Fair enough. It's kind of difficult to compare guards and bigs. Garrett, while injured, has really stepped up his game when needed in conference play. The only game he hasn't scored double digits was Iowa State when everyone was cooking.
PER does tend to favor bigs by its nature. I think Garrett is a very important player for us. Agbaji has the potential to be good but he isn't there yet.
@BeddieKU23 I'd probably put him 4th (behind Dotson, Doke and Garrett) but there is no doubt he is one of the five best players on the team. That's not even a question.
@tundrahok I believe Dylans is referring to the fact that no matter what Self does, some posters will never be happy.

Still the #11 ADJO on Kenpom too. Offense is just down nation wide.
DoubleDD said:
Is this a college basketball thing with the movement of the three point line?
That seems to be a big part of it. Scoring across the nation is way down.
Kentucky's minute distribution is incredibly similar to ours but that doesn't fit the narrative.
I think it's more important to keep guys fresh. If anything the heavy minutes Self plays his best players can grind them out a bit by the end of the season.
@DCHawker last year was a very bad situation brought on by failed recruiting in previous years leading to a large influx of transfers. Charlie was a baffling take a terrible fit with Self as I stated at the time. KJ probably should have played more, imo.
To be fair Grimes did still play 23 minutes today.
There is also the unfortunate politik aspect. I think that was a factor here.
@HighEliteMajor part of it today was the opponent. This was a David game. He played well and got 20 minutes. There will be games, like you suggest where he isn't as playable, and plays mainly only as Doke's back-up. In these games there will be more perimeter minutes. Seems like Bill is maybe taking a hot hand approach with Moss and Braun. I'm not fully sure. Self definitely clenched today and did his usual play six guys in a big game thing. It's just who he is. Bill will never play a real 9 player rotation in games that matter. Tristan, Silvio and Braun all had a short leash today. Braun needed to be more assertive.
@jayballer73 getting flashbacks to Dedric last year
@jayballer73 gotta hope for some internal improvement mostly. We gain Bryce but lose Moss. Braun, Wilson and Agbaji can make shots but we need them improved and healthy. Don't think Tyon is much of a shooter but he is a good player.
Once the Duke money rolls in you can fuhgeddaboutit.
The more I watch other games the more I see how KU can have a highly rated offense this year..
