Dotson's changed to #1 for next year is official.
Worth noting that Moss is friends with Dotson's older brother Dalen.
Isaiah Moss says he is planning on not only bringing outside shooting to KU but his perimeter defense. Chicago native prides himself on tough defense.

Self can go 8 deep without even playing a freshman. In today's landscape that's almost unheard of.
So good.
More from Bill Self on Moss: "Isaiah was a very good player on a very good team at the University of Iowa. He's played in big games. He's certainly used to the physicality of our sport after playing in the Big Ten and has been very well-coached and drilled."
This and the last quotes are from Bedore.
Self on Isaiah Moss: "We've obviously been looking for shooting throughout this recruiting period and we feel like we have addressed some of those needs with Isaiah's addition. When Isaiah is on the court, he's going to be a guy that could be a 40-45 percent 3-point shooter ...
"It's just such a prestigious, tradition-rich program and being able to play for a Hall of Fame coach and program." Moss on KU

Playa Daniels changed his CB pick back to KU.
Better than Dot??!
I think Bill would much rather have two great ball handlers and have the 1/2 be interchangeable.
@Texas-Hawk-10 in a dire class as well. Normally Wilson would be in the 80-90 range. Still a long term want though.
I almost posted this in the roster possibilities thread but wanted to make a new thread for visibility.
Assume for a moment that KU lands Moss and Wilson. Is there a team in the country you trade rosters with? It has to be a full swap, no individual player trades.
I think MSU is the only one I would do. Winston and Langford are both better than any guard we have and Tillman might be the best big on either roster. Overall depth would possibly favor KU but I prefer top end talent.

@RockkChalkk he is their Selden
Great article on the kc star about him. Can't link on mobile. So many highlights including picking his major. We really got a keeper here folks.

Moss is more important than Wilson for 2019. Way more important recruiting wise to fill a necessary hole.
Strongly agree. Want both though.
@HighEliteMajor still not a ton of experience under Bill but I won't complain about zero presumed oads.
@Bosthawk believe so yes

So anybody have an idea when we may hear from moos and/or Wilson?
Wilson announces Wednesday. Moss idk when but KU
Will be Kansas for Moss
Do we actually have reasonable reasons to believe he will come to KU? Haven't heard anything other than pundits assuming it. Could be after being forced out at Arkansas that he just returns to Iowa.
Would love to add him, but I don't think it's automatic.
Bilau visited Tennessee, he reported an offer but I'm not too sure how commit-able it is.

I see its stumpy land for Brown, go figure
Oh yeah my bad, thought I mentioned Arizona but I definitely did not. Really weird situation.
Grimes will visit Houston and TAMU.
Jordan Brown to Nevada. If you can't get on the court at Nevada, best to go to the Pac 12.
@jayballer73 Yes we absolutely should. Need bigs in the pipeline for the season after next
@Crimsonorblue22 Lost a tooth

Since Moss committed to Arkansas, KU couldnβt approach him. So how does Walker fit in? Is the thinking that Moss waited to see what Walker would do? Surely not.
Iβm curious as to why Moss decided to reopen his recruitment....
It's sounding more and more like Walker won't be able to complete the classes he would need to.
Moss is now needed more at Kansas. Arkansas was over the scholarship limit and will be adding Blackshear. Not the same position as Moss but they do have a crowded back court. Moss will either start at Kansas or the the first guard off the bench.
@FarmerJayhawk I would like to hope the staff likes the player that can actually stay more than one year better for the long term. :p

Clearly has some game. Yes please.
I think he would start.
@jayballer73 Well, the date is set and we didn't hear anything about a visit with Howard. You wouldn't think they would set a date and then take visits. That's said...with this recruiting cycle...I assume NOTHING good for KU ya know?
@Kcmatt7 Jeremy Case gonna rain some threes. :joy:

Proposition:
Dotson, Moss, Ochai, Silvio, Doke with Wilson, Garrett, McCormack, and McBride is the best team in the country. Change my mind
I'll allow it.

@Crimsonorblue22 I banged my head on the table until I forgot about last time... so I'm ready to be disappointed again.
@Texas-Hawk-10 Agree. Garrett doesn't need to score to be a very important part of next year's team.
FarmerJayhawk said:
I would think Moss has a lot more to do with Walker maybe not being able to not reclassify.
I think this is it too.

Good. I'd rather he end up somewhere that isn't a real contender at this point.

@dylans There's a rationale for it. Loads of experience. We might not have 1 freshman starter next year. Offensively, we sure won't look like the 30th best team, let alone the 3rd. Defensively, we could be as good as anyone in the country. So, who knows?
It's going to be a fun year, imo.
@FarmerJayhawk Can't see Maker playing in college.
@jayballer73 True this cycle was taxing but I think at the end of the day, we ended up with some good ones. Kids that can shoot, and good kids that should stick around and graduate. Program players. :)
WARNING SHAY but this is the first we've really heard from Enaruna
Enaruna, McBride and Garrett all helping out with Ballard's Washburn basketball camp today. Good kids!
@BeddieKU23 Just found out that he apparently shot 48% from three this last season.
We might need him as a secondary ball handler this year.
