Update: Looks like he might be turning his life around. He's been playing and playing well lately. Will being attending Chicago State which is in the WAC. He has had a bunch of 40+ point games this season including three in a row.

@Kcmatt7 I think this move is indicative of why Dorsey left. Reid is clearly in control now and is favoring high character and we have made a lot of aggressive moves since Dorsey left. They might work out or they might not but I am pretty sure Dorsey would not have made most of them.

Tyrese Maxey is probably the next best PG in the class.

Has started to carve out a nice career already. Up to 28 minutes a night this year. He has steadily improved every year and looks to me now like a solid replacement level type NBA wing. He would have been a beast for us had he stayed a 2nd year. The Wizards are rolling along without John Wall.
Yeah Grimes is a natural scorer and also has great vision and understanding of the game. He is our best guard prospect in awhile (counting Wiggs and Josh as wings).
I don't expect too much from McCormack next year and it is doubly true if Doke returns. He is that kind of post player that hangs around, develops and later in his career gives you a very stable 12-15 ppg and 9-12 rpg. Reliable.
@justanotherfan I think most KU fans are pretty forgiving but 3-33 is what it is. Need to see some wins this year.

Big Dave 17 and 12 in his last game. Averaging 13 and 10 for the year. 1.3 blk and 1.8 fouls per game. Shooting 65% from the floor and the ft line. From what I have seen he has a good feel for the game. The kind of smart and tough post player that Self loves.

@BeddieKU23 I don't think it's that surprising. He is better than UGA and maybe just wants to show that. I'd love to see him at KU but with Dotson in year two it's a tough sell plus I hope Markese ends up here regardless of where his ranking ends up.

He is the type of PG that Cal loves and I imagine UK will make a hard push. I'm sure we will probe, but I doubt KU is a legit option for him.

This kid reminds me a bit of Vince Young. Not as big though.
