I just hope whatever is ailing Juan is something that will pass. If he's got an injury he's going to manage the rest of the season that really makes it difficult to play at a high level when your PG can't do things he normally can do. He has looked hobbled and shook from mistakes he isn't used to making. Makes you wonder if he did get concussed from that fall

@approxinfinity I think we need him back for next year to be up to our normal standards. Of course the floor with Self is like a 4 seed. We are so spoiled.

@kuballin10 Farmer is pretty spot on.

We will have 12 scholarships so right now if you work under the assumption that Cam, Jalen, Kevin and Dick are gone we will be full with the current 3 signees. Of course in this situation the 4 spot is a glaring need and we have 1-2 pretty easy transfers out. I could easily see 3 transfers out and up to 4 so I actually don't think the staff will need to push anyone out. Though you never know, as I really didn't think Cam or Cuffe would still be around this year. I have next to no doubt the staff will go to the portal for a starting 4. If I could literally just pick someone I'd go with Ledlum from Harvard. I am guessing his services will be in high demand however.

I think it's close for another big even if Zach transfers. KJ will be starting the rest of his time at KU so unless he develops enough to play the 4 he will be our small ball 5. Then you already have Zuby and Udeh with another year of development. I think if they were going to take someone then you'd want a one year stop gap but that's a hard sell for the back-up spot.

@HawkChamp UConn played Alabama and won by 15. They are very, very good. I think either would beat us handily on most nights.

This was the concern when we got him we knew he was a brick mason and that Self does not give a single shit. That said he is a better option than what we have on the bench by quite a bit in terms of overall game. When he does hit shots we are at our peak.

@Kubie Honestly, other than not hitting a shot for 12 minutes in the second half, it wasn't that bad. If you bother to watch the entire game, look for any cheap fouls called on OU. I don't remember any. They benefited from a couple blown out of bounds calls though.

Their gameplan was to foul constantly and dare the refs to call it, and then you have people on twitter complaining about the fouls called.
