@FarmerJayhawk I've heard he's interested, but my son says we wouldn't hire a guy unless he's been a d-1 coach. I also wanted John ontjes (hcc) women's B.B. coach to get the ku B.B. coach. I swear his teams could beat Ku's.

I like Serena! I don't watch enough tennis now to see if there is equal treatment. But I do remember the McEnroe days, and she doesn't hold a candle to him. I also thought he made tennis a lil more fun to watch, I like the bad boys! 🤣lol. I saw some guy player tweet that he has done the same thing and has never been called on it. I don't watch enough to know. It does sound like the coaches all do it, so why don't they change it? That one call started it all. I did think Serena tried to honor the winner. I know Serena has been drug tested a record # of times and also not allowed to wear outfits that were medically designed for her blood clotting problem. I hope she gets over this and comes back, not sure if she might not be one of the best athletes of all times.

A lot of those small sport athletes don't receive scholarships either. I know the track and field teams only have so many to give. Doesn't really have anything to do w/this but doesn't help. KU has some really good throwers that have placed nationally, vaulters too. Sharon lokedi has placed nationally too, and won the KU women's athlete of the year last pm along w/guess who? Devonte! I think Doke won something too. Maybe somebody posted this. Pressed for time but saw team pic. Those were the rock chalk awards

@JayHawkFanToo you just don't get me, I should quit trying. I know you were talking about Kc police and I was talking about Lawrence. My uncle was a sheriff, my boys and I both have friends that work and put their lives on the line, every day. I would not be able to do that! But they are so many bad cops, racist cops, and if you don't watch the news, I guess you haven't seen those stories. You were talking in general about policemen and women. I was trying to point out that it's not that way everywhere. With police cameras the cases are obvious. It bothers me a lot. I believe a lot of the fault is in training. I guess you don't read the same stories.
