The Pac-12 just hired a new commissioner last week, so lots of things are on the table, including expansion.

Their last commish was a disaster, if you listen to most of the media out here on the coast. He engineered that TV deal where most of the top games were played too late at night for most of the country. Even though the new guy hasn't said it yet, fixing that has to be one of his priorities.

I can't see KU joining on their own...that'd make the conference membership an uneven (and awkward 13 teams). So who'd be the other team(s) to go in with us? Not sure if K-State would even be interested unless the money was right.

It’s going to take a legit conference network and freedom on T3 rights to get someone to jump over there IMO. The money isn’t good there right now because the PAC Network is done totally in house without the support of Disney (ACC, LHN, SEC) or Fox (B1G). Without that they can’t get on any decent cable or streaming package, therefore no eyeballs. Man, I’m sure they’d reach for OU. We know they won’t take a religious school so no TCU or Baylor. Texas has a great deal right now so they wouldn’t jump. OSU, KSU, and Tech don’t fit the PAC’s academic profile.

I mean I love PAC-12 After Dark during football season but I’m definitely an outlier. And would probably like it a lot less if KU was a regular participant. Remember how late the Coastal game kicked last year? Wooooof. I think (it might’ve changed since I graduated) the largest 3 alumni chapters outside KC are Chicago, DFW, and DC. Can’t see a leap to the PAC going over well there. The B1G on the other hand? Sure. And would really be an asset for KU (emphasis on U).

I’ll be pretty bummed if Harris leaves, which isn’t a done deal by any stretch. I see some Aaron Miles in his game and he turned out pretty solid. I’d rather have Harris long term than Ochai, who if he comes back it’s only for a year. He won’t take the extra covid season.

Then you got Yesufu, JCL, and Braun all more than capable of lighting it up from deep. Then you'll end up with Wilson, Clemence, or Cam sitting in the corner on the same side as Remy waiting for a kick out if their man helps on a Remy drive.

This team will not be anywhere near as offensively challenged as last year's team was. McCormack will be a 15 and 8 guy and the second leading scorer for KU behind Remy Martin next season.

I mean you said Dave and Doke are good complementary bigs and Mitch a true PF who’ll play a lot of minutes with Dave my man. Don’t throw that rock too hard. Sometimes it ricochets.

At this point I'm pretty sure there won't be much movement until summer and guys withdraw from the draft.

Kenny Logan is staying. Hearing Leipold has won over a lot of guys on the fence. Thinking Harris is staying. Not sure on Prunty quite yet, but there's some chatter he's impressed with Leipold.

I’m definitely not panicking. Still one big transfer window left when guys withdraw from the draft.

I fully expected the defense to look better than the offense simply because of year 3 in a system vs. year 1 for the offense. The issues with the offense aren't schematic, it's basic fundamentals like holding onto the damn football, the QB making the right reads, going through progressions. None of those things have anything to do with DeBorg's offense being new, these are basic things players begin learning in middle school that they still struggle with.

They’ll be fine. Wasn’t an issue last year with the same backs.

Daniels still has really happy feet.
