Gonna hate to see those guys go. They have done so much for our program.
@cragarhawk I've never bought the conference meme. We can only be good if Oklahoma St does well? Or if the Clones do well, then we must do well? And if they lose, then we must not be as good as we thought and we're probably going to lose? Never made any sense to me. The game is about match ups, not about your conference. I happen to think every other team in the Big 12 is flawed- doesn't mean they aren't good, but I don't see anyone other than us in the Final Four. I don't think having poor results in the tourney stopped us in 2008, or 2012, and I don't think it's stopped Kensucky from winning, either.

I really don't care about the Big 12. I care about Kansas only, and how we do in the tourney. If the rest of the Big 12 teams lose in their first game in the tourney, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest ( unless I had them winning in my bracket.) Then I would care.
@HawkChamp they can only do so much. dook is a big brand, and they will get every possible advantage from seeding, to location, to calls in the game.
@HawkChamp You won't ever convince me that Dook didn't have help in that game against Wisky. Not after the cupcake bracket, the 2 home games, and then that disaster of a game called by Dook's 6th and 7th man. Call me a whiner all you want- just don't call me late to dinner.

@drgnslayr It's coming. It is there. We are much better than advertised. I noticed the yammering ESPN pre-game talking head was dogging us over no presence down low. Boy, does he have an awakening coming. I still say this is the best team since 2008. This is a strong minded, strong willed team that hasn't hit the best cylinders yet. This team refuses to lose. Bill kept them on a tight leash during conference- he played for the next game most of the time, and now he will start to unleash them. We have an amazing group of athletes, a group of athletes that can play any way needed to win. This is a hybrid mix of 2008, and 2012- they can blow people out, and they can grind out wins. I say... let the games begin. This is a national championship team.
@kjayhawks I think that's about right. T Tech, TCU, and Silo Tech will battle it out for the 6th, imo. If one of them can win their next two games, and their first rd game in the conference tourney, they should probably slip in.
