Just to make sure I saw what I saw, what I thought I saw was a team that had a 7 footer, and a 6'10" NBA first rounder that were never fed the ball in the 2nd half. So, the genius of a Scott Drew was to go away from the only advantage you had in the game. Is that what you saw? I never saw an entry pass the whole 2nd half from the genius formerly known as Scott Drew.

@Crimsonorblue22 I have read several KU hating sites trying to minimize our victory by saying Baylor got robbed by the refs. Ridiculous.
That was a much tougher Faylor team than we've seen. We did a great job of taking the game away from them. We really have a tough minded team- JJ, Frank, and Devonte are simply incredible. This is a real good team.
We got them right where we want them. Time to break out the can of whoop ass.

We DO know no charges were filed at the time. We DON"T know if him kicking the girl in the face had to do with her grabbing his leg and not letting go, or whether he did a Bruce Lee roundhouse kick. We don't know if punching her in the arm was a "slugbug", or whether he frogged her. Some young ladies are very abusive because they know they can't get in trouble for it. @HighEliteMajor ESPN didn't carry the KU player intros- only Ky's. JJ played circles around their vaunted freshmen. This was a "in your face" moment for all the flapping gums that had put Ky on the mountain top, much the same way they did w Dook preseason. @JayHawkFanToo Kenpom only measures efficiency. In that two game stretch against the Frogs and the Grapes, he moved us from 10th in defensive efficiency to the 30s, which moved us way down on his list.
@BShark Seriously, did you think two freshmen guards were going to dominate our guards? I would argue the blindness you speak of was the hype surrounding Ky that so many of our fan base ate up with a spoon. The Media has done such an excellent job of building up Ky that everyone is acting like this was an upset. Matt Norlander at CBS SPORTS called it an "upset"...lol. The 2nd ranked team in the country beating the 4th ranked team is an "upset".
@HawkChamp I've been saying all year no way do Ky freshmen guards push our guards around- ain't gonna happen. Ky has been over rated the entire year, which is why I was extremely confident we would win this game. We freaking out toughed them. Josh Jackson stepped it up a notch or two- that rebound he took away from Willis where he finished with the reverse that gave us the lead at 73-66 was magnificent. The Alpha Dog has arrived. Our guards decided to play some defense. Monk doesn't even get a shot attempt in 8 minutes. LL has to be the MVP- he is such a great unsung hero for us. He does it all. We outscore Ky in the paint. Almost outrebound them...what????
Self is simply a coaching wizard, and he can beat the Squid with both arms tied behind his back. It almost isn't fair.

I always think we're going to win before the game. Because, I want to be hopefully expectant waiting for the game. If we lose, then I feel badly after the game is played. If I sat around thinking we were going to lose before the game is even played, then I have completely bummed myself out for no good reason before the game even occurs. If we win the game, then I have ruined my day(s) leading up to the game. I have no control over the outcome of the game, so it makes no sense to project losing in the future, as it only results in negative energy about a subject I love to think about.
