@stoptheflop That's odd. I lived there 8 years, and never experienced that. maybe the lack of tall buildings.....but when you move from a little town in Kansas to Lubbock, it was like moving to New York City for me..lol.

@tis4tim I remember a day....it would've been in the winter months where they had forecast a dust storm. Outside, it looked like it was going to rain..it was dark, and overcast. And every 2 or 3 minutes, the loudest lightening you ever heard would go off. this went on all day. The whole day. It never rained a drop, but I will remember the weirdest weather day ever spent in my life in Lubbock, Tx. I've been through some really terrible dust storms, several tropical storms, 2 hurricanes, tons of tornadoes, but nothing compares with that day in lubbock.

@stoptheflop I go to a college bb chat room, and it was recently discovered that one guy had 6 different aliases, each from a different mid-major school. He would routinely have long conversations with himself. I have deemed him Mr. Hat, and his aliases Mr. Garrison.

@Crimsonorblue22 Florida fans were singing him happy birthday. I find it humorous that so many fans are so up in arms about it.

The game reminded me of the Michigan game, in retrospect. Big lead, lackadaisical 2nd half effort, panic...loss. You have to come ready to play every game- when you don't, you get beat. I was very disappointed in several player's efforts, but I know the Bataan death march schedule, combined with dealing with Soofi's jihad, left us vulnerable, and an inferior team that was desperate for a signature win took advantage. The national championship 2008 team lost 3 games in less than 2 weeks. These things happen. They're human beings- they aren't robots. We aren't going to lose to the Grapes Monday. We will win that game.

@Hawk8086 i understand we played terrible. i know how frustrating it can be, but the season is a process, not an event. we're going to have those games where we all throw our hands up, and shake our heads. we'll also have games where we look amazing. i still think we're the team to beat this year, although we looked like first round nit losers the 2nd half...lol.

@Hawk8086 i think we were probably due for a letdown, actually. we went through college basketball's version of the Bataan death march by playing 3 straight top 10 teams, and all our focus was on that. frank is great, but we need more than 1 player to win. the grapes will be pumped anyway, and their victory over faylor will make them crazy on monday. hopefully, we will be more focused.

The Grapes win by a pair. Tough day for the Big 12 leaders.

geez, lots of hysteria here. lighten up, francis. we just played the toughest stretch of any team in college basketball. we were hit with a fake news explosion. worst case scenario, we end up tied for 1st in the b12.

I think we quit at halftime. It happens. No biggie.
