I like Braun. I know some have thought that he might be a redshirt candidate, I don't think so. He's 6'8 and needs to put on some weight, but he could play the point in a pinch, can shoot the three and dish, has some inside game and is a fighter. Who does he remind you of? I see a raw version of Gordon Hayward.

No timeframe on Wilson's announcement?

Like I said, Braun, McBride and Enaruna are all future pros.

@BShark Like I've said for awhile now, Enaruna is bigtime. So is Braun and McBride.

@BeddieKU23 I agree with it not having the most talent (though still very talented), but it also doesn't have any divas or egos and its depth is going to be off the charts - alot of pick and plug options.

I like the way that this year (crazy to still be recruiting in June, though!) has worked out for us. Have added and are still adding alot of pieces that are only going to get better and that are going be around for awhile - pieces that we can build around and add to for the next three and four years.

Lineup options galore.... Dok, Dave or Silvio at center; Silvio, Mitch, Enaruna and at times even Wilson (Bilau if signed) coming in for stretches at the 4; Wilson and Enurana, Agbaji, Braun and Garrett 3, Dotson, McBride and Garrett at 1, the twos being Moss, Agbaji, McBride, Garrett and Braun.

They won't have to average as many points as the past few teams, they're going to be a defensive juggernaut. I smell another Big12 and, perhaps, natinal championship.

@BeddieKU23 We were pre-season #1 this past season, unlike many, though, I didn't believe we were. But this team? I think (pre-season rankings be damned!) that we can finish as Number One.

@KirkIsMyHinrich Starting - Dok, Silvio, Wilson (who I am happy to be wrong about, and we are signing), Dotson and Moss. Second 5 - Dave, Mitch, Enaruna, McBride and Agbaji. Garrett, Braun (who might be redshirted) and Bilau being mixed and matched. The lineup possibilities are damn near endless (I see Enaruna getting some PT at the 4).

That would be thirteen scholarships, beyond maddening how it all went down but I will be very cool with this team and the freshman class. Five freshman but redshirt one which will give us four, three sophomores, two juniors and three seniors - near perfect class balance. Silver lining's playbook in how this class fell into place, gonna reap huge benefits for years to come.

Someone mentioned the NCAA exam for Howard to be able to recruit, which is true. Look, I don't blame Michigan for wanting to make a splash hire, but have any of these NBA guys made good college coaches? They might as well go ahead and sign off on their upcoming NCAA allegations and get it over with.

Man, if this late in the freaking game we get both Wilson and Moss as well as Bilau, are you kidding me? Anyway, it looks like the bad press - at least for us - is finally coming to an end. Add a monster class in '20 to the guys that we have and that we might be signing and look out! I already liked our team for this coming season, and that was without adding those guys.

So Maker, Thompson and Nix (2020) added to Walker, Wilson, Bilau, Enaruna, Braun and McBride? And if Garrett and Agbaji were both back that would still leave us with two scholarships to give.....

I didn't know that we were in that tight with his circle. Sounds like we stand (if not more) as good a chance as any to get him.

Don’t get me wrong, I like McBride a lot. I just think he’s a better canned offense option off the bench for a couple years. And Daishen Nix is a STUD

@FarmerJayhawk brought up how he would like for us to sign Maker, Nx and Thompson in 2020, assuming we sign Walker, Bilau and Wilson thiis year (which means anytime now).

Dave 5, Enaruna 4, Wilson 3, Nix 1, Agbaji 2 - second 5; Maker, Bilau, Walker, McBride and Thompson, Braun in situational spots. The 2020 class is absolutely loaded. A team could sign the bottom five position players and do pretty good for themselves.

How good is he? Didn't think we were on him that heavy. That is, until now. I think our 2020 class is going to be loaded. Alot of great depth in that class overall from top to bottom. A team could sign 5 players at the bottom of that list and stiil have themselves a great recruiting class.

What do you guys think of Isaiah Cottrell? Seems, if we sign him, to be an immediate contributor - not a star - who will work hard.

New 2020 player rankings. Bryce Thompson jumped all the way up to #19!! Jumped 70 spots.

Interesting list. They still have Harvey 80% percent KU lean.

Who thought that Thompson would jump that high? I sure the hell didn't. But I have always liked Thompson and hope that we can sign him, maybe get him, Berry and a guy like Xavier Foster come November - get 'em wrapped early. Going to be real tough - if not close to impossible - to get Foster out of Iowa, though.

Isaiah Cottrell, Kyree Walker, Bryce Thompson and Ty Berry? I'd take that in a heartbeat. If that class were to somehow fall in place we would still need one more big.

We offered a scholarship and are scheduling a Bilau visit. We have also offered Karim Mane. I sense a change in Coach. He might have been turned on and bit by the OAD types three or four times too many, has maybe changed his recruiting accordingly.

@Crimsonorblue22 But is he good enough? I wish him the best, though. Now that we've also added Jankovich he would never have played.

He'll go play at Washburn or Pitt State.

Not a big fan of the mid-year reclass. If you want to do it go all in and do it, don't half-ass it. Kind of a metaphor on life, really.

You know, I'll buy that.... I think - even if we don't sign Wilson - that we've finally turned the corner. The trial definitely hurt us (pun intended), but the worst is over. It'll only get better from here.
