Coach has had at least one brain fart each of the last couple of seasons in a game where he does not change his way of doing things. He KNEW they were going to press. He KNEW Mason/Selden/Greene/Svi/Lucas/Traylor weren't making it any better yet he did not at least TRY putting in Vick/Bragg/Diallo. Maybe Coach wants the players playing the worst to suffer as much as he is.
Better be ready for our "Topeka YMCA" rematch Sat. Don't forget how badly that game was played/coached.
Well, it could be worse:
Major NCAA violations announced by Missouri, and the Tigers' entire 2013-14 season -- when Frank Haith was the coach -- will be vacated.
That was/is the textbook example of how to lose. Didn't think they would fail this badly on FTs and TOs though. No nights off from here on out.

West Virginia plays us tomorrow and then has to travel to OU on Saturday.
BTW, we are No. 1 in both AP and Coaches Poll plus Top 25 and One, so there Devin Williams. You guys did NOT make it into the Top 10.
Going to be a tough game regardless.

Kansas at West Virginia, Tuesday, 6 p.m., ESPN2
The Mountaineers are one of the few teams in the country that can match Kansas in terms of speed and depth. Theoretically, the Jayhawks, who start two point guards in Frank Mason and Devonte’ Graham, should be well equipped to handle “Press” Virginia. But unless you think the Jayhawks are going undefeated in the Big 12, you almost have to pick them to lose this one. West Virginia is very tough to beat in Morgantown, and you know the joint will be jumpin’.
West Virginia 90, Kansas 87 (OT)
• Let’s stop the kvetching about Cheick Diallo before it gathers any more steam. The 6'9" freshman forward played a total of eight minutes in Kansas’d wins over Oklahoma and Texas Tech last week. Diallo is a good athlete with a great basketball body, but he was always considered raw offensively. Besides, the Jayhawaks have two upperclassmen big men in Jamari Traylor and Landen Lucas who are much more ready to help their team win. Diallo is not going to play much this season, and if he’s even smart about it, he is not going to try to enter the NBA draft. Rather, he is going to stay in Lawrence and develop his game with one of the best coaches in the history of the sport. When he’s ready to play, Bill Self will play him. Period.
@JayHawkFanToo Hell he is running a Rick Barnes offense, not his kind. Do not understand it. He needs better players but if he doesn't get wins will be hard to recruit.

Can't believe UT lost to TCU. Shaka is going to have some critics back home. He'll find out what fickle fans are in Austin. He's got them close to the bottom of the barrel.

@JayHawkFanToo That was Pomeroy's point. There is NO such rule. Jeff Goodman was on ESPN saying that it should have been called because of the "3 feet rule" right after the game on SportsCenter with SVC. They even have a video asking something like "Was Mason's Play Illegal?" Pomeroy was tired of the bs coming from him and that's why he tweeted that.

@wissoxfan83 Maybe you misunderstood - I wasn't implying that Wayne was saying that to the ref. I was saying what HCBS was saying to the ref.
All I did was point out that Wayne was yelling and showing emotion because he rarely ever does. And you are right about him being a pastor/chaplain? and most likely would never utter such things.

Coach clearly went with who had the most experience, i.e., Jamari and Landen. I can't for the life of me understand why those two are continually pounded as non-producers. Without Jamari's effort in the second half and Landen's ability to alter shots in and around the basket at the end we wouldn't have won. Heck he hit those crucial free throws that put us back in it. I wondered why coach went with Jamari once before in the Oregon State game and now with eyes wide open I get it. JMO.
@bskeet SVP interviewed him after our highlights and he was very classy and had a lot of respect for the fans and AFH. Stand up guy.
