More that half of the teams ranked higher than KU blew it this week. 1 seed? Probably not but no one has really helped their chances in that department this week. If next week KU has 2 wins and everyone else takes another L then a 1 seed is possible. I am still keeping the faith!
@elpoyo lol!
And were back on top
Nothing has changed across the board. How many top teams have lost this week? 70%? The one thing that KU has going for them is that they are a great road team!
As of today Vick's stock has dropped and it looks like he is going to make a return.
I know a few people in the Know. KU is not the main target. Didn't say who is but KU is small potatoes compared to who is going to get the hurt. I cant wait for it!
@BeddieKU23 Nova is getting ready for another loss this weekend when they play @ Xavier... #1 seed is fading fast!
Who is this guy? I hope its not bad news!
This team has all the tools to win it all this year. It has just as much a chance as any other team out there. If Coach Self can work his magic and everyone buys in then its possible. He still has a month to bench guys for attitude, poor play, or whatever he needs to do to motivate our guys to work together! I still believe!
Imo Self needs to just start De Sousa starting right now. If KU has a shot at making a deep run De Sousa has to get up to speed. It might also fix the cancer problem? Everyone on this site always states Big 12 titles don't matter. Our guys are good BUT if cancer is the problem then remove it from the body. There is no treating cancer. Just remove it. Bench him until his attitude changes and play De Sousa.
All I know is this is not the year all four #1 seeds make it to the final four. Our chances are as good as any this year.
Using Udoka logic if you pull Graham it sends the wrong message. You have to show him that you have faith in him.
I live in Texas. If I lived closer I would have thought about it...
@dylans lol you got me!
According to the Lawrence Journal-World, University of Kansas police were called Wednesday to the dorm that houses the men's basketball team after a man kept showing up to offer "free throw advice" to the Jayhawks.
Okay well I guess we will see. I stand behind a solid NO WAY
I told yall that he is going to come back next year. No way he gets drafted. Every player in the NBA can dunk. Thats all Doke can do efficiantly.
Because he was dumb enough to throw caution to the wind and stay in the draft. He was supposed to be an oad. The people in Dialo's corner led him the wrong direction. Doke has been at KU longer and trusts Self more than Diallo ever did. He will stay because he has a bond with returning players and trusts his coaches more than his handlers.
The refs bailed OU out and got away with it. Its really obveous to see that the refs were in on the win. Its not supposed to happen but it IS happening across the board. It is coach Selfs job to see that and adjust accordingly. He FAILED miserably.
Thats because he conspired with the refs period. He didnt adress it because he didnt want the media to pick up on the fact that when the game was on the line the refs bailed OU out!
Nope
If this was Coach Selfs insurance policy for next years title run then it was worth the L last night. It does really spot light the fact that Doke is not NBA ready and everyone saw it.
This was adapting to the refs and how they were calling it. Which is called having the refs in your pocket. Which is cheating.
@Bwag a strategy the refs were keen on too. I mean how much more clear was it that the refs threw the game?
Duke will employ Grayson Allen to trip Doke in the final 4 possessions of the national championship game this year to win it all lol
This years "how to beat KU" play book. Put your walk on's in and foul Doke every time KU takes a lead. Rinse and repeat. Out of all of KU's possessions if you took 10-15 away by fouling Doke away from the ball then you could shave 20-30 pts off of their production. Seems legit.
Hows that for confidence?
@Blown even the announcer said so. The fans boooo'ed the refs until the 3 pointer.
Sad part about it is the rest of the team could shoot from half court blindfolded at a higher percentage than Dokes ft shots tonight.
Next game I vote for inbounds lob on opposing teams basket! It would be far more entertaining.
That's bs. He just stood him in the corner so he wouldn't get fouled. That sends the exact same message.
I see all of the usual Self defenders which is usually me but tonight Self should have pulled Doke. The fans knew it, refs knew it, and the opposing team knew it. Yall are saying keeping him in shows Doke that Self believes in him? Self made him stand in the corner after the time out to keep the other team from fouling him. So you handicap your team when the game is on the line? Might as well develope an inbounds play where you throw it to the other team. Or better yet inbounds lob in the opposing teams basket?
We need Doke to hit those period! The refs should have been calling those off the ball fouls the whole game though. That was pretty obvious and IF you go back and watch the tape during that OU run one of the refs was ALL EYES ON DOKE... That is called cheating if they weren't calling it that way the entire game. Had they been calling that all night OU's bigs would have all fouled out! Hopefully Self learned something tonight. Not only can you not pass it to Doke in the final minutes he cant contend for floor space either without getting a call that is basically a turnover on the road!
KU is still ahead of the league. This game means nothing if Doke goes back to the dorms and works on his FT's non stop until March.
We need a 2nd option to have Svi shoot Dokes free throws from the 3pt line!
Watch another call on Doke is comming
Did you see Doke standing in the corner? Self didn't want the call on him so he didn't even go inside? What kind of coaching is that?
This is a set up and Self needs to get him out
Bald guy is not even watching the game JUST DOKE
The ref on the near side to the camera is only watching Doke
Self needs to take Doke out
WTH again with Refs helping out OU
The refs helping out OU with the call off the ball on Doke
@mayjay lol
I have six 1/2 gallon glass jars of different ferments going right now that should kick any kind of disease or illness. I have researched blank DNA and My diet includes eating things that stimulate bone marrow cell reproduction to make new blank cells. The theory behind it is that as a child your bone marrow produces much more blank stem cells to actually grow the body to adulthood. Example If my son cuts his hand and I cut my hand at the same time his hand will heal faster. If you feed your bone marrow your body regenerates faster from injury and replaces damaged cells like aging skin cells with new more healthy skin cells reducing aging appearance. I took some before pictures and in 6 months I will take a few more just to compare. Doubt I will share them but if its a HUGE difference I may?
Yes there are. You can look up a ph food chart. If you eat something really acidic then you should balance it out with something alkaline. The apple cider vinegar also helps control your blood sugar and regulate your body's ph plus it has bacteria that can enhance the health of your digestive system and deliver a host of added gut bacteria benefits like increased immunity and an improved ability to digest and absorb nutrients.
A paleo diet is very similar to what I do. I hate to label anything a "diet" but I eat a lot of organic greens, fruits, and meats. Maintaining your body's ph is vital though if you want to live without ever having arthritis, Alzheimer's, cancer, and many others.
I don't take meds. I only use fire cider unless I am on my death bed. I haven't tried Kefir yet. I have read up on it though. I am just getting into fermented drinks. I am fermenting some turmeric, garlic, and making some ACV right now. The fire cider is pretty good stuff though.
So I have been reading about 'Gut health' is a term increasingly used in the medical literature and by the food industry. It covers multiple positive aspects of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, such as the effective digestion and absorption of food, the absence of GI illness, normal and stable intestinal microbiota, effective immune status and a state of well-being.
Its funny because I have a goat farm and happen to know what happens when a "kid" or newborn goat doesnt get their mothers first milk also known as Colostrum. Newborns have very immature and small digestive systems, and colostrum delivers its nutrients in a very concentrated low-volume form. A mothers first milk contain loads of beneficial microbiota. They die so gut health is kind of a big deal. Did you know that when you take antibiotics you kill the good intestinal microbiota and flora in your gut?
I started also reading about getting all of your body's nutrients through food and the benefits of eating your vitamins vs a multi-vitamin. I am also reading about your body's Ph and how viruses attack our bodies when our Ph is acidic and how viruses can not survive long or at all in a human if your ph is alkaline.
I have been making my own ACV and am starting a garden this spring at my ranch. I actually have been eating all of my fruits, vegetables, meats, and such without really struggling. My brother moved here and started living well and using this so called diet with me. He had sever IBS and was lactose intolerant before he started and now he is eating dairy. If any of you all are into trading info or interested in curing almost any illness I would love to talk about that too... I have read others testimonials about how they cured almost everything known to man just changing how they eat so please feel free to post here or message me.
@BShark That's not why I posted that. I hope he goes to UT out of no where just so we get to spank his butt 2 times! I only referenced that post for you all. Talking heads think Doke and Newman are returning too!
