Agree 100%. Started with the first game of the year and we are 15 games in and it hasn’t gotten better. Zero reason to believe it will.

So KU has lost to the 3 best teams they have played. So I’m not sure how good they are but I will say it’s not nearly as good as some people and polls think.

Here’s the problem. The turnover issue isn’t going away and the team can’t shoot. So when teams take Doke away the identity of the team is zapped.

@KirkIsMyHinrich what about the way he decided to defend Doke? He literally took him completely out of the game.

Again they made 1 garbage shot at the end of the shot clock. The rest was how they run their offense. Also they defend like no other. That’s coaching.

This could be a statement game for KU. Top 5 team coming in who has only lost once and is a projected 2-3 seed right now. Need to handle business and get a nice win today.

@Hawk8086 Did they talk about a possible injury with him? He had a triple double on Saturday so not sure how hurt he could have been.

@BShark He has no hesitation at all when he wants to shoot. That can be a good and a bad thing but the amount of confidence he has is something.

I was not impressed at all with Haliburton. After seeing him as a top 10 pick and even a top 5 pick on some mocks I was expecting a lot more. Maybe he let all of the scouts in the building get to his head, but other than a few great passes he didn't affect the game much.

I would say the best was 2008. I went back and looked at KenPom since 2008 and this is where the defense has ranked from 2008 through this year.

I was honestly surprised to see so many top 10 defenses through the years.
