@approxinfinity I have a few very negative folks blocked. Maybe I missed it, but everyone was calling for Grimes head (as @nuleafjhawk said), I didn’t see a single reputable soul on here call for Lance’s job, so the impassioned posts saying he should keep his job is seemingly out of place - unless he just likes Lance so much he’s gotta shout it off the rooftops. In which case good for you, but I see no pushback.
@jayballer67 No one on here has called for Lance’s head. Thus the head scratching about the impassioned message that wasn't really for anyone here.

@rockchalkjayhawk JuJu is a good blocker, has been non-existent catching the ball though. Skyy is not an NFL receiver, bummer. Hands of Steele, grip of butter needs not touch the ball again with Hunt running like that! Mahomes is off, but still makes it happen. I hope they start clicking soon on offense.

@AsadZ Hopefully Worthy will start figuring Reid’s notoriously hard to learn offense out soon and the game slows down for him.
@jayballer67 It’s silly to give a big contract after one good season, just as it’s silly to fire a coach after one bad season. You need continuity to have any chance at building a program. But the biggest thing is finding the right QB.

@approxinfinity I have no idea what the NIL budget is, but I imagine it’s better than UNLV. KU carries a good rep in that regard.
@rockchalkjayhawk I already have paramount+ for football and a handful of other shows. But it stinks for folks with cable or satellite to have to pony up more out of pocket.
@approxinfinity It turns out he was promised 100k by an assistant coach and he’s getting 3k a month instead.
I would imagine that will impact future recruiting at UNLV - they don’t pay.
@wissox I see it a little different - The home slate has two great games - UNC and Arizona. The rest are ok, but only because KU is playing. Half the best games are on the road. Ugg. The schedule is nice for TV viewing, but the in Lawrence slate isn’t worth the price of season tickets to this cat - $18k for 2 seats not in the rafters. Hard pass. I’m looking forward to tv viewership, but it’s gotten pretty cost prohibitive to attend with any regularity. - will have to attend the @wissox way, buy gen admin and look for unsold seats on Stubhub to get closer. 😂
@approxinfinity It means he has one year of eligibility left next year. lol. I don’t know maybe he’s not getting paid what he thought he would - be it cash, strippers, gambling, whatever.
I can’t believe one year of decent football and they got half a stadium financed! Maybe in another 20 years or so they will have another good year and can get the other half done or a face lift for the then dated remodel. Or perhaps if they had picked a better stadium design more people would be interested, but I think it’s the crappy product on the field that slows donations.

If the coaches were good they would have their program established and winning by year three. That doesn’t happen at KU.

KSU almost always lays the wood on KU football. I wish the basketball team would return the favor and win by 40.

He was double teamed most of the game and Mahomes didn’t force it to Kelce other than that one INT. It’s nice having some receiving options!
Of note - it was Kelce’s first game with less than 3 receptions since 2018!

? Did he look good, stats are terrible. I thought he had flashes in the pre-season. I’m banking on him being good to great at some point for purely selfish reasons. lol bought a couple of his rookie cards - I treat it like stock for athletes. @stoptheflop If the refs had swallowed their whistles - which is what the bengals fans want on that one play, but forget about the play immediately prior- the Chiefs would have had a long completion on 4th down instead of a long pass interference call on the next play. It really changes nothing other than Mahomes crappy statistical output would have been slightly better.
@BShark the rookie KS was terrible, but he got very little help. I’m not sure why Andy didn’t have someone chip for him when it was obvious he was in over his head. Also Thuney was no help on a few of those rushes and he’s normally solid. The left side of the line was a mess.
Nagy stinks. Poach coach K since Ku can’t have him!
