They met in person with Big 12 Commissioner , met at the Hyatt in Frisco Texas while Gonzaga was there for private Scrimmage - -well my , my , my, - the plot thickens

I think it's possible that there wil be further penalities. - -I've heard some shows today and logical -I could see NCAA - KU self imposing 4 game suspension on Coach and the NCAA adding an additional 4 games - -like I've heard on sports shows this morning - could see Townsend with a show cause.
Don't think there will be a posst season ban the committee has stated that they don't want to penalize current players for penalities from past

Mercy , been browsing the PAC 12 message boards tonight wanted to see what's now being said after the BIG 12 new media deal with ESPN & Fox.
For the most part they coming all unglues -true there are a few that think they will survive , but for the most part they think the PAC 12 is cooked. - from what I read the best ESPN offered them was 17 Million pe School.
Some posters were saying and of course these are just posters reports but they haad gotten somewhere and I could see it but they said"

According to John Wilner the current PAC 12 deal with FOX & ESPN average is 20.8 Millio over 12 yr period per school- - -a difference of 10.8 Million per School to get even with the Big 12 they would need to get a 51.9 % increase . - It helps also like I said cause fully believe this just furthers the chance of expansion and puts the Big 12 in 3 different time zones and offers Coast to Coast for exposure

That's exactly what ISU has done so far. They've only allowed 106 points through 5 games for basically 21 points allowed per game.
So when I've said they're the best defense in the Big 12, I mean that because what that unit has done has been incredible considering just how terrible their offense has been so far only scoring 78 points through 5 Big 12 games.
KU's defense as much as we've ripped it recently is still 7th in scoring defense in the league and better than OSU's scoring defense so maybe the defense is doing a little bit better than we think. The defense is also 17th nationally in turnovers forced so that's another positive to build off of.
OSU isn't a terrible match up for KU like normal because their defense is far below what it normally is and their secondary is actually worse than KU's.

Well the Big 12 just became more stabilized - -Not Big 10 or SEC Stable but makes us for sure the third best stability for future reference.
The big 12 and ESPN & FOX came to agreement on new media rights/deal.
The new deal calls for a 2.28 Billion over 6 year contract , which in turn they said figures out to be 380 Million a year and averages to right about 32 Million pe School. While now the Big 12 is finishing out it's final years of 220 Million Average
Now while this isn't like we had with Oklahoma & Texas the report said was when you add in the NCAA playin off & NCAA revenue - -it will avgerage out to right at 50 Million per School despite losing Oklahoma & Texas. - -where it was 42 Million per School. - -Not bad at all.
What this does isSecures the future of the Big 12 , don't end up blowin up. It future probably adds also that if like more chances then not that if the Big 10 does in fact in up taking Oregon & Washington to the BIG - that pretty much destroys the PAC 12 like has been talked about , and in turn you gonna see other PAC Schools bailing - -most common for the Big 12 adding Arizona - -Arizona State - - Colorado - - & Utah - -most likely these 4 but for sure you would see Arizona & Arizona state making the Big 12 the 3rd mega Conference. - -I for one feel good about this. - -Although with the BIG adding those two Schools makes it even a less chance KU goes BIG. - I really didn't think we were going there anyway just they don't think we bring enough to the Conference. - -So we make the best of the situation and survive - -were gonna be all right

Just some random thoughts. Was listening to Swain in a podcast with Bossi , 1st my thoughts , as we know or have heard right now not really anyone standing out at the five. So call me crazy and probably won't happen But I'm a Zuby Ejiofor guy. - He is dam man Was also listening to what Bossi said about him. - Bossi says He has tremendous activity around the rim , Crashes the boards and attacks the rim. Destined to do some really good things during his time at KU - -more fluid then Ernest - -has a mid range jumper Zuby can play some 4. - -Bossi said reminds him of T-Rob Body - -Size - - Activity around the rim -Gonna be hard to keep him off the floor.

According to Andre Marchan & John Rand - -reporters been following the Big 12 talks with ESPN & Fox -- sounds like we are going to come up short of what we were hoping for. -Our new Big 12 Commish had said he didn't want to go under 400 Million BUT with us losing Oklahoma & Texas looks like it is more likely to be around 350 Million. which they said equates out to right at about 30 Mil per school - -down from 43 Million per School. -They are hoping for 400 Mil which would put each school around 35 Million but doesn't look like that's happening'.
